I can’t recommend Elite enough! They’ve gone above and beyond for me and my family. One rainy day, my car battery died while I had all four of my kids with me. Dave came within minutes, jump-started the car, and even replaced the battery right away. When someone hitnour car, Dave took care of the repairs and Diana handled everything with the insurance company—including setting us up with a rental. What could’ve been a nightmare was made easy thanks to their outstanding service. Truly grateful for their care and professionalism!

I have been slowly coming to Elite for minor tasks, such as oil change, inspections. Took the opportunity to bring both cars for 2nd opinion’s, since some of the dealerships like to add on unneeded services. Really appreciate the honest answers and the time that they take to explain what’s needed and what’s not needed . Since then, i feel 100% comfortable dropping off my car for any issues that arise. I have a family of 4ppl and I trust David, Diane and the team to make sure our cars are safe! Value and trust are hard to come by. Elite Auto is a small business run by an amazing family. Dave is the best! He is very knowledgeable overall with interior, mechanics and exterior work. He is also honest and will work with customers. I trust going to him knowing the problem will get resolved. I highly recommend them and always refer them to friends and family!

Terrible mechanic. Brought my wife’s truck to him. $7000 in mechanical work later to give my truck “new life” according to David. One month later my engine went completely. Brought it to another mechanic with the invoice from elite automotive and to the dealership for a second opinion. Both said he did none of the work invoiced and I now needed a new engine. SCAM! Could have bought a new car in the end. AVOID this place! He either has no idea what he’s doing or he’s a scam artist stealing peoples’ money!

Horrible experience. Went to David to get my car Fixed. Claims he fixed my car but the issue never went away. Continued to ignore me when i asked him to resolve it Would leave zero stars if I could, but google doesn’t let me. Straight up scammer.

TLDR: Misdiagnosed check engine light issue first time I brought the car in and charged $1000 for the most expensive repair. Check engine light comes back on after 1 day. Brought the car back and he claims he changes a different part. Check engine light comes back on after two weeks. Contact David about issue and he refuses to resolve it. Bring the car to another mechanic and he says I need to change the part which David claims he already changed (he clearly didn’t, look at the picture and you can tell this is an old part). At the end of the day I spent $1000 just to have my time wasted, be ignored, and issue not even resolved. SCAM I never want to leave a bad review for a small business but I am so disappointed in my experience with Elite Automotive Care. I was fooled by the great reviews on Google and Yelp and want to warn others about this shop. I brought my car in to have my check engine light diagnosed. About an hour after dropping off I received a call from David stating that he ruled out all possible issues and that it was a problem with the high pressure fuel pump (the most expensive solution). He quoted me nearly $1000. Due to the high price and the fact that he diagnosed the issue so quickly, I wanted to make sure he was replacing the correct part. I asked him multiple times about a few other potential issues and he said that it wasn’t any of those and that the fuel pump would resolve it. I allowed him to proceed with the repair as he sounded confident that he was going to resolve the issue. I picked up the car the next morning and drove it home. The next time I got into the car and started it back up, the check engine light was already back. Not even half a day after leaving the shop I was back at square one and this time $1000 out. I let David know about the issue and he told me to bring the car back to the shop. He then claims he changed the purge valve. I took the car back and went on vacation for 2 weeks. When I got back home the check engine light came back on for the same code. I brought it to a different mechanic because I was tired of David playing the guessing game. The new mechanic say that the purge valve needs to be changed. I was confused because David said that he changed that part already. As you can see from the picture, the part is clearly old and scratched up. So either Elite Automotive Repair never changed the part, or gave me an old faulty part. I reached out to David and asked him if he ever even changed the purge valve and he says he did which he clearly didn’t or used an old faulty part. I asked for a $200-300 refund so I can have the car repaired elsewhere and he declined (this is more than fair, I was willing to let him keep $7-800 for something he didn’t fix)So at the end, I spent $1000 at Elite Automotive Repair just to have my problem misdiagnosed multiple times and not even be fixed at the end. Do not go here if you want a reliable mechanic who you can trust to fix your car with honesty and integrity.

My car started acting weird all these warning lights popping up, having trouble starting, etc. Called a bunch of places but since it’s the week before Christmas nobody could see me until I called Elite. David told me to bring it over right away and had it fixed in an hour! ( was my battery) at a very reasonable price. I will continue to use them thanks to the great service I received today. David is a man that lets his actions speak for themselves, his shop is clean, his people are professional, doesn’t waste time and doesn’t make promises he can’t keep, and on top of all that their price is fair. We had a great experience with Elite Automotive Repair. We came to David yesterday for a water pump issue, and we didn't even get to tell him that, because David spot the issue as he was approaching our car, just by hearing the noise. He said "it's the water pump" to my husband when he was 6 feet away from our car! The rest was easy: he took a closer look to confirm the issue then quoted us a reasonable price; we dropped off the car and came back the next day to pick it up. This is the best car shop I've ever been to. The care David and his team provide is professional, customer-oriented, efficient, and of the highest quality. I trust them entirely, and they never cease to exceed my expectations. Even though I've moved further away, I still exclusively use Elite Automotive Repair - it's worth it!

I've been coming to Dave & Elite for over a decade at this point. There's a reason we've followed Dave from his shop in Flushing and I was reminded why recently when I got into a car accident. With what was the biggest inconvenience on a Thursday afternoon that just added to the mountain of things to do, it was Elite that came to my rescue and turned my problem into theirs. All I had to do was hand over the keys to the tow company (that they arranged). Elite handled the rest. Making sure my claim was submitted correctly, staying on top of insurance, helping with my rental (for the very next day!), and most importantly, getting my car fixed. They gave me updates every day and not once did I ever have to ask for a status update. Two weeks later, my car looks better than new. I can't thank Dave enough for the level of care and expertise he put into getting my car fixed and for making sure I didn't have to worry about something else. More than just a repair shop, they were a full service shop and did so with the most care and respect I could have ever asked for. Highly recommend for any and all your car needs!

My wife's 2016 x5 was taken in right away with suspension issues. Parts were replaced with BMW dealer parts only. They were replaced in a timely manner and the truck was returned in above and beyond our expectations! I have brought my 89 mustang there as well and they always deliver! Dave and his team are great to work with. Easy, polite and very trust worth. Not only does he do the work you ask, he also looks out for you for best deals for parts and looks out for other issue you may have. I def would recommend bringing your ride over to this location. Brought my second car in for David to install something that would take a few hours and i was in no hurry to get the car back. He replied i will have this done shortly and it was in fact within a couple of hours. Extremely impressed and happy with their service. We should all keep them in mind when our friends ask where to bring their vehicles. Truly the best duo!

If you take care of your cars and you want to ensure that it is well taken cared of by professional mechanics, then you have to go to the right place. David is a top notch mechanic who is honest and takes great pride in his work. I drove over to Elite Automotive on short notice and told David that my car inspection was past due and that I badly needed a front set of tires to drive in this snow/ ice. David was very accommodating and was able to squeeze me in and get everything done before the end of the day.

I brought my car in to have the AC compressor replaced. It was last minute and I need it fixed right away. Despite having a full schedule, David squeezed me in. I dropped off the car in the morning and was able to pick it up after lunch. They checked out an issue with my door locks which I hadn't even mentioned, quoted me a fair price to get it fixed but didn't push me about it. Greatly appreciated their professionalism and honesty! Will be seeking them out for future repairs.

I only bring my car here, Dave and his staff are great mechanics. They do excellent body work. My car came out just like it came from the factory with the body work. Very honest!!!
