Gina at the Americana Manhasset location went above and beyond to help answer high level jewelry questions for me while I was on vacation and unable to meet her in person! She called me texted me and was even able to send me detailed photos! Her knowledge of the Cartier ring I was looking at was on point and super detailed making my decision easy to purchase easy! I don’t think I would have had better service even if I went to Cartier! She’s incredible!
Today was my first time selling with TheRealReal and it was a very smooth, enjoyable process thanks to Jacklyn and Chanel. Jacklyn was adept at taking me through the process of being paid and reliably did the calculations to figure out what the most advantageous decision would be. I will definitely come back to TheRealReal if I ever have any more items I would want to sell.
I brought two vintage bags here and they were very knowledgable and quickly able to authenticate them. Although they couldn’t take the bags because they were purchased from Saks, they gave me an approximate worth and tips on how to clean and sell them. Everyone was very kind and helpful there and would absolutely recommend if you’re looking to sell or shop.

I went to the Real Real store in Manhasset to buy a Birkin bag that my boyfriend gave me as a gift. The attitude of the salespeople wasn't very pleasant. We should all feel welcome, but being looked up and down as if you couldn't afford something is never nice, they know who I'm talking about ;) | I ended up buying a classic vintage Birkin with gold details for a little over $10,000. I honestly regretted going to this store, and I called to return the bag. It's sad to see salaried people who probably can't even afford a $2,000 bag treat others with such arrogance; they didn't even let me properly touch the bag. I felt a very heavy energy there. I don't recommend going to this store if you don't want to leave disappointed.
Sent over pics of bags, one with the intention the sell, the other just for quotes. I got a ~$1500~ quote via text after sending a pic of the bag I wanted to sell. I made the drive over to the location a few days later after making an appointment. The person who inspected the bags didn't say a word the entire time. I sat there in silence. It was pretty awkward. When she was done, she told me my payout is actually only about $400. I was super confused and then she told me that the person via text quoted me for the wrong bag. She said "the pic was dark" (it wasn't?) I felt bamboozled, like I was given the wrong # just to get me in there. I ended up taking the $400 because I've tried to sell the bag on my own but had no luck (I'm not super good at this stuff) but definitely not a good experience here overall. Just sell your stuff on your own. Not worth it.

Went in to the Manhasset store to purchase a chanel classic handbag for a gift, the shop was nice although I was disappointed at the in store selection compared to the online inventory. Chanel was amazing and helpful throughout, although the vibe from other sales people were Not as we all should feel welcomed but being looked up and down like you can't afford something is never nice, they know who they are ;) I settled on a vintage classic with gold hardware for just north of 5k, I hope she loves it for Xmas, not sure if I will go in store again but will order online if I choose to purchase from this business in the future for my needs
Allie at the Manhasset store just touched my heart with her knowledge, patience , and honesty . So happy to have worked with her and I look forward to opening my wallet again and again with her. I went in to consign with Therealreal. I’m not a huge consigner but I do every now and then, but when I do I usually meet with a lovely young woman by the name of Makenna. She’s always so patient and had a great, outgoing contagious personality. She always compliments the things i consign asking me about my day and making me feel all around comfortable. I asked her if she can show me some Louis bags for my wife’s Christmas gift and she helped me pick out a great one, I recommend to all my friends.
This company will definitely lie to you. They will come to you home, pretended like you could sell things you purchased for thousands of dollars for half their price. Will try to convince you to consign expensive items but in reality will take them away from you and sell them for pennies and give you nothing!!!! They will charge you if you want your items back and will charge you to get paid for them so in reality you lose money!! And your items!!! Terrible experience will not work with them ever again I suggest you to not work with them

He is very helpful in obtaining items that I need from other locations in a timely manner and it’s always supportive in finding items that I need. Chanel is another employee who provides high customer service in the Manhasset store. I highly recommend anyone who shops at The Real Real to visit Robert and Chanel at the store. So first off I had a great experience, Varuni is one of the most patient and caring employees I have ever come across. She had excellent customer service by assisting me with everything I needed. The store is very pleasing to the eye and has an array of options.
Such a pleasant experience! The visuals are stunning. I was greeted right away and they had a great selection. I had no idea this location was here and so happy I found my new favorite place!!
