Advance Auto store on arsenal St. in Watertown refused refund on a brake Master Cylinder Even after I told them 1 day after install it seized, left me without brakes, stranded out of town and how to be towed to a shop

The cash attendant was inept. Couldn't find my account even when I showed him a receipt from the same company with my account clearly visible. He seemed uninterested in my business.

Gentleman named Brandan makes this location a 5 star. He’s always been extremely helpful, recently he made an honest mistake and made it right giving us excellent service while most wouldn’t. Will continue to bring all my business here as long as he’s there. Deserves a raise!

Amazing staff and always have what I need mo waiting

600 in brakes and rotors. Boxes were retaped and with used parts. Luckily check before left. Not acceptable!

Had parts I needed. Prices comparable with other local automotive repair chains in the area. Staff knowledgeable and professional.

Lawrence needs a lesson in customer service, or to find a job that doesn't require him to interact with the public.. or humans.. or animals.

Excellent service from Clarence Cousins. Unlike AutoZone, which ordered the wrong part, Advance had the part in stock and Clarence installed it for us!

If you need something, they either have it or they can get it. As well, if you need a part and need help they can definitely get you what you need. I had a great experience here, I needed a part and the counter person actually came outside to help me figure out what I needed. You can't go wrong here!

Customer service was good, unfortunately we were given the wrong parts. Whoever pulled them pulled the part next to the one we needed. However it was still ok.

Fairly helpful, staff do a decent job at helping me when I ask them about certain repairs.

Place is a joke. Tried to buy parts at the counter but was told what I needed was ONLY available available as a kit. Got online and ordered just what I wanted and picked it up at the exact same counter. Maybe you need employees that put some effort into helping customers

Was told by manager that this is not a pick up location despite it being offered as a pick up location through ups. The manager told me he was going to send my package back to UPS and he asked me "please don't ever do that again". Not to mention it was concerning that he never checked my ID for the pick which is supposed to be required so someone else doesn't take my package. Very strange and unpleasant interaction with Advanced Auto. I would ask that you please take yourselves off the ups pickup list instead of treating customers in this unprofessional way.

I'm not handy when it comes to vehicles. So having someone who doesn't mind coming to check out my vehicle when it's having problems is very reassuring! The guys in the shop took care of me today. I didn't get their names but good job guys! Keep doing what you're doing!

Fast promp service and if they didn't have my parts in stock they made calls to other parts stores and located them because I'm handicapped it was great help rating 1 to 10 clearly 10

Guy working was not vary helpful and not in a great mood. I do believe he was the only one there. I usually go th Carthage advance auto parts they are great out there. Was given a friend a right to get a part a Watertown location.

The counter people were nice and patient. I got what i needed. Had to special order but was in store in a day. Not bad.

I would not suggest this place at all terrible customer service. Didn't want a refund but exchange. Trying to return a part and just for them to order me a new one for the same price wouldn't do it for me said i had to do it will never come here again! Autozone your best bet for all your automotive needs.

Horrible waited 10 minutes for a refund and 10 more minutes for a part I had placed on hold the day before could have fixed my car in the time I spent waiting will use them only as a last resort from now on unacceptable I can see why there is almost always no customers in this store while autozone is almost always busy,

Needed a simple cabin air filter. Looked up the price online was $8.59. Site said it was available on the store for the same price. I goto Watertown NY they said it was $23.00. When I asked why it was so high the lady seemed to get angry and said I will get the manager. THE MANAGER WAS OVER THE TOP RUDE. He was angry just walking up to the counter. He threw his arms up and said that's an internet price. I pulled up on my phone what the web site said. The manger did not even care. The serious problem is the guy was an extreme jerk, extremely rude. I will NOT ever go back to that store in Watertown NY ever. The other customer in line behind me came out when I was still on my car and said they were wrong and he said the manager was rude to him as well.

Had to change my alternator in the parking lot because I was four and a half hours from home they shared their tools with me and everything what a great experience great guys

Decently knowledgeable. I would never take advice from a parts store without double checking but these people seem to be the best in Watertown if NAPA is too expensive.

Advance usually has the part you need. If not they can usually get it in a reasonable length of time. You can drop off your used oil here and they'll dump it in their tanks. If you sign up for their membership card you can get discounts on many things.

They always got great online discounts. Like their parts because Carquest brand was mainly OE parts. Their coated brake rotors are priced great and provide that stock look as well. Their tool line I've seen in videos foe professionals too.

If I could rate less than one star I would. The manager “Larry” I believe should not have a job there. Other workers tried to be as helpful as they could. I ordered a caliper online ship to home with 25% off and the wrong one came in.. ok whatever I’ll call them have them order the right one and swap it out. They didn’t have one without a bracket for over a week and Larry says I have to pay the 9 dollars difference.. okay whatever I’ll replace the bracket for 9 dollars and sleep on it. I get there to return the wrong one and pick up the correct one and pay the difference and they try to get 45 dollars more out of me saying they can’t give me the 25% off it’s a corporate issue with the online orders and they can’t do anything about it. (At this point I’m a little irritated vans been on jack stands for closer to a week) but ok I’ll order it online again and have the 25% off and grab it while I’m there.. nope website won’t allow me to choose the store bc it “doesn’t have any in stock”.. okay I’m more irritated but not gonna ruin my day over it, I can wait for the part to get it cheaper, soI tell them I’ll just order it online ship to home and wait on it. Mind you Larry has been talking to me like I’m an idiot saying I should have known this whole time. I start to walk out after telling him I’d just re order it ship to home and I say thanks anyways. I’m halfway to the door hobbling on a broken leg and Larry starts in with his condescending mouth now I’m pissed mfer couldn’t let me just walk out the door and go about my day so I tell the manager Larry off take myself and broken leg back out to my car and hit the road. Ordered a coated name brand caliper from rock auto on the way home for 50 dollars less with faster shipping.

I have been going to Advanced Auto Parts for years. I have never had a bad experience. Usually offer various prices on many parts to suit your budget.

Got what I needed in less then 5 minutes. I told the guy what I need and boom pointed me in the right place. I got what needed and cashed out in a flash. Great customer service.
