GreenDrop in Totowa NJ is wonderful! The employees are always smiling and positive. They always thank us for our donation. Great place and great service for the needy!
I had a great experience donating gently used toys at GreenDrop. The attendant was friendly, the place is organized, and made the whole process quick and easy. I appreciated how welcoming she was and how smoothly everything went, the attendant helped unload the items from my car and answer all my questions about the donation process. I’ll definitely continue donating here and highly recommend GreenDrop to anyone looking for a convenient, thoughtful place to give back.
I used to donate to the Salvation Army exclusively, but the last time I went, they refused to take most of the stuff I wanted to donate. Most of it was in good to excellent shape, but they said they didn’t want it. Green drop was great. It took two seconds And they sent a receipt via email. The staff was friendly and came out to meet me.

This group takes so much to help other people and I found this group is probably the only 1 who will contact if there is a problem. plus you get a real person and there is no push 1 etc or push 2 that ETC.....
NO computer telling you what to do.

First time donating clothes today and the man had a horrible attitude. He did not ask me what charity I would like to donate to. Unfortunately I will not come back to this location.
The Greendrop donations van will not enter a driveway. My house is not visible from the road and you must come down the driveway to get to it.
They refused and were extremely unhelpful. Their loss. I donated to another charity that did not have any such issues. Dumb rule.
For stuff you want/need to donate? This is the place.
Drive up and park. They will take it all off your hands and donate it to one of 3 charities of your choice.

Great way to get rid of clutter without it going to landfill and for it to help others.
Yesterday my wife and I brought in a bunch of bags. Your staff was excellent, came to the car grabbed everything. It was super fast and very easy. We appreciate everything you guys are doing to make a difference in the world. Thank you to everyone involved at your organization.
I dropped off my items at the locations, quick easy and you can choose which charity is benefitted. The only reason it is not 5 star is the first time I went there during the week at 3 pm they were closed. I'm assuming the employee left early and closed shop. It's quite a drive for me so I was pretty frustrated. If the hours are 10-5 there is no reason to be closed at 3 pm.
I scheduled the pickup for up to 24 bags in advance, labeled everything and made sure each bag was not heavy. They left a "sorry we missed you" sign in my mailbox, never rang the bell. When I called to ask what happened, the operator stated that our front steps were inadequate which was the first lie, then it was stated that the driver couldn't leave a message for me because my mailbox was full, lie # 2. Then the operator stated that the only way they would pick up the bags would be if all of the bags were put out on the street so they dont have to walk back & forth to their truck. The WORST ever company. Will never use and will never recommend. Completely unprofessional-- the affiliated organizations really need to know. Shame on you Green Drop!
They weren't open. The sign on the building Said they are open on Saturdays until 6:00. But when I showed up at 3:30, they were closed. Annoying, but I understand it happens. Next time I will call before I drive there.
An easy place to get into and out of when donating stuff. You pull in, sit in your car and an employee comes out and empties the stuff you are donating. They ask where you want the donation to go and if your registered. They check to see your email address and thank you. You get get a receipt in your inbox of your mail.
