Drivers of this company like to park their vans blocking the sidewalk instead of using the parking provided by the business they are delivering to. People on motorized wheelchairs had to drive around this jerk.
Returned a part that was purchased by an employee with cash, they gave me a partial credit via check saying the check would be in my name not the company I work for since we paid in cash. The check came in the company name so I could not reimburse my employee. They refused to send another check and then refused to even return my part so I could try to sell it myself to get the employee there money back.. Horrible customer service, got hung up on multiple times, this process went on for months, was promised calls back that never came over and over.. Decent parts but HORRIBLE customer service will never buy from them again, hope no one else does either
If I could give this company a minus 1000 I would.
We have a small mom and pop Automotive Business ( SpeeDee) in Salem Va. that has allowed them to have a 30 day account for oil changes and any other services. A while back we had to stop them from coming in because NON Payment that is now 4 months past due. We have e-mailed, faxed and sent them the billings more times than I care to count and can still not find ONE person to talk to or respond to us over this matter. It's a sad shame that a multi million dollar company cannot pay us our $800.00.

Their driver, blocking the pedestrian walkway cussed me out for walking in walkway through South st. Morristown.that how they treat the public? Their employees represent their business...I won't be using them
I don't often find the time to leave good reviews. It's unfortunate that most people typically sign on after poor experiences to take it out on a company online. It's essentially the only way to air your grievances & possibly reach someone higher up the chain of command. Well, I'd like to change that with this review because Empire Auto is an excellent resource for Body Parts.
I have been dealing with Empire Auto for over 10 years. I remember CAP being the only body parts dealer in the area. They were and remain the most frustrating & poorly run organization in Newark. That's why I am amazed at the great management & team over at Empire. They are night & day when compared to their competitors.
Empire always has their inventory in stock. They do not mislead and they do not change stories or make up excuses. If you need a part & phone it in or order online, rest assured it will be there when stated. I have never been disappointed by this company. Their prices are also competitive & there is no other warehouse I would rather deal with.
These guys deliver quickly, safely, and most of all professionally.

The Guy that dispatches, midget with a horrible ponny tail, George, he is an ahole and a disgrace. Treats truckers bad, employees bad, has an attitude and is puffed up with pride. I would tell him to eat a bag a D's but I am a lady...so I will leave it up to management, bc EAP deserves better.
Edit: This was the straw that broke the camel's back. 1st, its always an issue ordering parts to have delivered, the guy that scans the parts out of warehouse is rude and unprofessional. There has not been one time where an order went smoothly.
Ill be switching vendors and closing this account.
Online ordering elsewhere has never given me an issue.

Worst customer service. This attitude comes from he top and goes down. Driver are so rude and he language is ..... life is to short to deal with people like this. Buy elsewhere
horrible customer service. i am a fellow business owner, i wanted to return a part that was 10 days outside of the "normal" return window and they wanted to charge me a restock fee. I asked them if they wanted to get $20 bucks or loose a customer for life and they chose the $20 restock fee.
