We were very happy with the job that was done on our vehicle it was a 2008 Taurus XL it was extremely dirty and it needed a thorough cleaning and they did an excellent job inside and out I'm very happy and I am recommending them to all those people who asked me who does detailing.
These guys are great, very friendly local auto/detailing shop with only a few employees. They offered me a ride to my place and back, got my car back to me within a day and gave me the friendly local vibe. The detailing itself was really good too, cant remember when my car looked so clean. Would 100% support these guys again.

I recently purchased a car at Leavitt Brothers. It was a very different and pleasing experience. As a female, I have had the runaround from other dealers. This did not happen at Leavitt Brothers. The sales person was completely upfront and honest. The quoted price did not change. The car was in perfect working condition and immaculate. I could not be happier with my new car. I will definitely return to Leavitt Brothers for all of my future car needs.
The best detail job in town. My jeep was sent from TX to NH after my military assignment was over. It came back white from the sale in the roads. I was afraid the Jeep was ruined. John took in the vehicle and made it look as good as new. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! I recommend this detailing shop to everyone:)

Drove 4 hours to buy this vehicle after I was told nothing was wrong with the vehicle. Got there and the radio was messed up bad, also small things here and there like the center console charger not working. I asked him about it and he said it was probably just a software update for the radio and we worked up a deal that he would pay up to $500 in repair work. I got the software update which fixed it for a short time and wasn't guaranteed to be a fix from the gm dealership. It cost a couple hundred bucks which he paid for but now it's messed up again. The radio needs to be replaced and now he will not answer his calls or call me back even though I'm still within my 20 day warranty!

Bought a truck from John Leavitt in September and have had it in the shop a dozen times in three months. Nearly everything about the truck was false advertised from the beginning and John was very unprofessional. I don’t know much about cars and he took advantage of it. I had the truck inspected immediately after closing on it and I’m glad I did, John did end up covering some of the work under warranty but only at his preferred garage where he could drop off his own used parts to be swapped out. Since then I had to replace the starter (again), have the “remote start” removed that was horribly installed and three trips to the garage for break problems. Never buy a car from Leavitt Brothers.
l had an appointment for 12 noon to buy a truck. l informed the owner i would be traveling 3 hrs to get there. l arrived at 12;10 to be told the truck had been sold at 9 am.
John is a great guy. Really appreciate the trust we were afforded with the test drive. Unfortunately we didn't end up purchasing however I would definitely return or recommend them.
I baught a Chrysler 300. When looking at the car I noticed a stain around the sun roof, I didn’t ask him if it was still leaking because I assumed he most likely fix it, considering he was selling the car for a lot of money. Anyway after a few weeks go bye it starts to rain while I am driving and to my surprise the sun roof starts leaking pretty bad. I call John about the leek and he’s response was “ it wasn’t leaking when I had it” instead of offering to repair it. He knew the sun roof was leaking when he sold me the car.Thought he was honest guy! Do your self a favor stay away from leavett auto he’s a liar and crook.
Needed a vehicle detailed, and they were very helpful. Not only did they take the vehicle in right away, they did a fantastic job at a very fair price. Great service, great guys.
Used the consignment services to sell my van. The process was really easy, I told him the price I wanted and a few weeks later i had cash in hand. I got alot more than the "we'll buy your car" places and all it really took was 5 minutes of paperwork, patience and trust in the process. I highly recommend it, John was great to work with.
Loved buying a car here. Incredibly courteous. They picked me up in downtown Machester at the Enterprise and I was able to purchase a great car and drive away in 20 mins. Got a great price and the car has been fantastic. Diamond in the rough.

I purchased a vehicle from this business in July 2018. It was advertised on their website as such. This is the entire description, verbatim (I have a screenshot saved of the add on the Leavitt Bros. website.)
“REMAINDER OF FACTORY 5 YEAR 60,000 MILE WARRANTY… The front windshield is in excellent condition. The paint is in great shape and condition. No dings are visible on this vehicle. The tires are slightly worn with about 75% of tread life left. The interior was well maintained and is extra clean. The exterior was well maintained and extra clean. The engine is functioning properly and has no issues. The vehicle has no previous collision damage. The transmission shifts very smoothly. The brakes are in great condition. The battery is in excellent condition. The care was previously owned by a non-smoker. A mini spare tire is included with this vehicle had one previous owner.”
When I bought the car, John showed me the Carfax, which was clean. It listed two previous owners, but I didn’t make a fuss about it. Later, when I asked John about it, he denied the ad said this and that it actually said “1 previous owner from the original owner.” I took the above quote directly from the ad on his business’s website.
When I got home to Vermont after I purchased the vehicle, I realized that John had not given me the title. When I contacted him, he said it was customary for him to keep the titles at his home office and that he would send it to me. It arrived a few days later.
Shortly thereafter, I parked my car in the bright sunlight, and noticed a large amount of body work that had been done to the rear passenger door. The bond-o was rough, there was clear coat sprayed all over the hubcap, and there were permanent streaks from what looks like some sort of buffer along the entire length of the rear passenger door. There was also was obvious body and paint work done to the rear quarter panel. I only missed this when I went to look at the car initially because it was pulled up to the side of the building so it was hidden in that dim light.
I immediately texted John about it. He said that it had a clean Carfax and had not misled me. He asked what he could do to make me happy. I asked that he pay for my shop to go over the car because now that I knew it had been in a collision, I wanted to confirm that the car didn’t have any other issues. John refused.
I paid for the dealership to look over the car. They confirmed that there was significant body work done to the car and the quality of that work was poor. There was also some chipped paint along the very bottom of the car that had not been repaired. They also told me that the tires were at 2/32nds and would need replacement soon. I again texted John and expressed that this finding was not what had been advertised. John explained that because they were 60,000 mile tires, and the car had about 23,000, that about 75% of the tread should be left on it, so his ad was accurate.
John asked me to stop texting him after this, and I did.
I do not recommend doing business with this business individual, and if you do, have another shop go over the car before purchasing to confirm that the car is as advertised.
**10/2019 update:** over the winter the paint started falling off the car in the area of the body work. I had to spend nearly $2k to get the body work redone.
I have always been skeptical about used car dealerships but this one took me by surprise! I purchased my beautiful red truck here and also got it detailed here as well. I won't go anywhere else after experiencing great results here.
I purchased a vehicle from them about 3 months ago. I have already put $800 into it and what do you know?, my check engine light just came back on so now I have to throw more money at it. Within the 3 months of having this truck, I have broke down on the highway, had a caliper catch on fire, had trouble with starting it (I also replaced the battery and alternator, also the calipers) and I still have trouble starting. I was unaware it was legal to sell cars that weren't inspected (remind you: this wasn't an "as-is" vehicle), so besides breaking down and almost catching the front end on fire....we will just say I am glad to be alive after buying from this dealership. I would highly, highly, highly, recommend buying from anywhere else but this lot. Some people are just in business to screw the buyer over; go to a dealership that will take care of you.
Bought a truck from these guys that was billed as safe and passing inspection. Turns out it has a 16" long hole rusted through the frame. Even if they didn't know this is extreme neglect, and if they did know it is blatantly illegal. They won't take it back, want to patch it, but there is no good fix for this kind of problem. Battery also died 10 days after sale (advertised as battery in excellent condition) and the abs system keeps faulting. Horrible experience with these guys, worst I've ever had buying a car.
i brought a caravan from them in june 2014 and i have not got my title from them yet and now the state is going to take my registration to that vehcile and john leavitt is donign nothing to get it for me. he has been aware of this sence nov 2014 and nothing i wouldnt buy a car from them ever again.
