A truly honest mechanic. I was so relieved that I had found an honest mechanic. Kept me updated and prices were fair.

Super duper friendly and extremely helpful with our vehicle that was towed due to an accident. They are GREAT to work with and very quick to the scene to help.

First off, we were 2 hrs from home and needed to get home to pick our son up from the bus stop. We had about an HR and a half window to get the car fixed. We called 4 different places and no one could help us. We got a hold of Crawfords and told them the situation and the receptionist was super great and was like, get it here and we'll get you in. We pull up and they are packed with business, all the bays are full, all the lifts have cars on them, and they got us in and fixed our car and got us on our way! We will definitely be back and totally recommend them if you have trouble with your car! 5 star? I give them a 10! Thank you Crawford Automotive and Towing!!!

Have had a huge amount of work done here and they are some of the best bar none. Always staying on top of our vehicles maintenance and have a regular mechanic, but when something comes up that my regular guy can't or won't do i always bring it here. I'm not saying other folks don't have their issues with Crawford but I'm glad to have them. Thanks Crawford.

These guys always do quality work and have for a *long* time. John and all of the crew I've interacted are lovely. Honest guys who are not going to screw you over (which is something I always worry about when I get any kind of car or house work done). They do it and do it right.

My sister called up here to fix her plastic fender under the car because it was scraping just a tad when she drove. An older lady, in her 60s got quoted 85 dollars for this. Men, take your daughter and go for your parents because crawfords will take advantage of people. Called and asked about my plastic fender flap on the bottom of my car, was scarping the ground, and got quoted 85$. I'm an older lady in my 60s and I feel taken advantage of only because I called BIG O TIRES and they quoted me for free. My niece informed me what occurred in a repair like that and you guys are crooks! God bless you guys to help people out in their needs, in a small town like this you'd think you'd want the good word for your business and repeat customers.

This place is awful! If i could leave no stars i would. Countless of my family memebers and myself have came in here and been cussed at over the phone, over priced (85$ to fix the hangage of a flap under the car, only needed a screw or a zip tie, Thank God BIG O TIRES in Ozark helped her out FOR FREE), theyve come running up to people and all sorts of stuff!! This place needs the BBB this angers me so much because of how much my family and myself have been treated.

The guys at Crawfords were amazing! We were in Branson on a family vacation when the exhaust broke off just past the turbo on my Ford Explorer. I called and explained what was going on and they got me in the same day and ordered the parts same day also! Everyone was so easy to work with. Kept me informed through the process and we were back on the road the next day. And it only took that long because they had to special order a part. I completely recommend them to anyone.

I have done quite a bit of business here. They have always done right by me. I once had a Subaru with electrical problems they thought would be better addressed at another shop. Not many shops will tell you "These other guys have a better knowledge of that problem". They have also stood behind their work and warrantied anything that should have been. This is a good shop, they can be trusted. If my vehicle needs work I'm going here first.

Mine had to do with a wrongful tow by my apartment complex. Crawford's was so great at helping me get my car back and showed tremendous care. IDK if he's tue owner or manager, but cut of cost off and just really worked with me on the payment side. He definitely didn't have to, but, out of the kindness in his heart, he helped me. Great bunch of people over there. Honest and Will do everything they can to truly help you. Beyond recommend them to anyone, for anything need .

I traveled to Branson, MO from the Kansas City area Wed May 15th as I had a conference to attend at the Branson Convention Center Thursday May 16th through Saturday May 18th. My sister lives in Branson, MO and invited me to attend my niece's preschool tour Thursday morning May 16th so I drove separately as I would be going to my conference immediately afterward. As soon as I turned into the preschool I heard a loud pop and when I got out of my car I saw my lug nut and screw on the ground. My sister and I drove to her house so that we could see if she had tools for us to fix it but after FaceTiming with my husband he told me I needed to get it into a tire shop. My husband called Discount Tire in Branson, MO as we had purchased our tires from one of the Kansas City locations and my husband was told that they had the parts and could fix my tire. Because I was supposed to be attending this conference my brother-in-law came and picked up my car from the conference and took it to Discount Tire only to be told they do not fix issues like mine and in a state of wondering what I was going to do I asked for a recommendation and Discount Tire recommended Crawford Auto. I immediately got on the phone with Crawford Auto and Chris provided amazing customer service as I explained my situation and that I was only visiting from Kansas City. Upon further inspection I was missing several more lug nuts and he told me car was not safe to drive on the highway. He wasn't able to get me in that day but was very willing to immediately order the necessary parts and get me in first thing the next morning. Because my husband takes care of my car for me I got on the phone with my husband and asked him to take care of the rest so I could attend my conference. While I was attending my conference my sister and brother-in-law sought out a different tire place to get my car into as they knew I needed my car to get around Branson and they didn't want me to be unsafe and the other tire place was able to get my car in immediately. I write this review to say that I greatly appreciated Chris' customer service and understanding my issue and urgency in getting my car fixed. I recommend Crawford Automotive for the Branson locals if you want excellent customer service!! Thank you Chris!

Our Ford freestyle blew a spark plug out of the back of the motor. Normally I would fix it myself but due to being 8 hrs away from home, that was not possible. I was referred to Crawford's by another local shop and after informing them of the problem and explaining we were leaving on Friday and it being Wednesday evening, they promptly sent a tow truck and took us where we needed to go. They called me the next afternoon less than 24 hrs and told me they had completed the repair and our car was ready for pickup. It was so well done I can't even tell they took it apart and it was affordable. I'm not one that likes to allow someone else to work on my vehicles but even when they could have taken advantage of us , they treated us with respect and got us on the road quickly. Thanks for everything and I highly recommend them if you need repairs.

I HIGHLY recommend coming to Crawford's! They are so very helpful and made my stressful vacay a better time with a easy fix! I called and they were very helpful and explained a lot to me about my car! If I ever need something when I am Vacationing in Branson I know who to call!!

I highly recommend Crawford’s Automotive. We had some car troubles while on vacation, and the staff at Crawford’s were extremely prompt in resolving the issue & keeping us informed about the repair being made, and when it would be completed. The turn around time was very fast so we were still able to enjoy our vacation! We are SO grateful for the friendly and professional service provided. Thank you!

We had Crawfords do some repairs to our vehicle. They were reasonably priced and the work was completed in a timely manner. AJ kept us updated on their progress and the work was completed when he told us it would be. Would recommend them.

Took my Ridgeline there to find out why my engine light was on and and why I was getting bad gas mileage. Was told that my valves needed to be adjusted. Over $1000 worth. The engine light came on three days later and my mileage wasn't any better. Fast forward to two weeks ago. I took my truck to Pinegar Honda in Springfield to get a recall done. I asked them to look at why the engine light was on and why i was getting bad gas mileage. He told me that my catalytic converter was bad. I cant believe this the Crawfords I've used in the past. Won't use them again.

Crawford's was quick, punctual, and friendly. They picked up my vehicle with no worries and worked great with my insurance company. The Gentleman on the phone was nice, informative, and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them with any of your towing needs in the Branson area

Several family members have been burned by this manager, John. My daughter was told her car needed to be junked, so we just handed him the keys - them found out he sold it to an acquaintance of hers (small town bad idea to lie). Charged me for services that didn’t fix the problem and had to be redone at a dealership the right way. And they my ex went to him to get his heated fix paid $1000 and he was so grateful until less than a week later the car was overheating and when he went to have it towed in rather than risk problems… John told him the head gasket was blown and it was going to be another $3500. Basically the car wasn’t worth fixing (sound familiar? - don’t think he realized he was related to my daughter he’d done the same thing to). I’m furious this guy stays in business when he screws so many people - but it’s because he asks people to give good reviews and like myself harasses others with poor reviews to remove or recant them. I encourage people to post their true experiences, and to remember Small Claims Court is there for a reason. John is a likeable person, but when he gets caught in something like this it’s shocking how hateful and mean he can become. One by one my family has had to learn this. Try BAT Boys, they are high but they are honest. Same with most dealerships. And I know there are some good independent mechanics around but I’ve learned from this that Crawfords should have stuck towing (but even that I had a less than great experience).

Brought my truck in to have the trailer brake wiring checked. I was getting an intermittent grounding wire code from the brake controller when my trailer was hooked up, so I brought it in to have it checked out. After an hour and a half of labor, they didn’t find anything wrong with the truck, so they determined it was on the trailer side. The best part is they charged me a fair amount for diagnostics and not the hour and half of labor they spent on it. Very fair, knowledgable and friendly. Just call ahead for an appointment because they’re busy. It took me a week before I could get in, but they are worth it.

Crawford's was great! My car broke down while I was in vacation. They got me in quickly. Once he saw the problem he knew right away it was a recall with my vehicle. They were very upfront and honest, as they could have fixed it there. They then set up the tow truck to take me and my car where I needed to go. Very helpful!

Update: 3/10/21 Had to return with a different issue with our SUV. Once again they came through with flying colors! Awesome Service & John kept me updated. They had us repaired & back on the road in 24 hours! Impressed to say the least & cost was cheaper than I had anticipated. Thank you Crawford Automotive! Had a really good experience with them. They were up front, did a great job at a reasonable price. They kept me informed through the repair process and got us all taken care of in a very reasonable time frame!

I had a transmission flush, oil change, and anticipated an oil change. After looking my car over, they told me I didn't really need to get my brakes and rotors done. I was very impressed that they didn't just do them & take my money. Also, their transmission flush was significantly cheaper than other places I'd compared prices. I will be recommending Crawford's to people I know, they'll be my go to for year's to come.

After having a conversation with another local service that left me disappointed, I received Crawford's information from our dealer and called them. They were so kind and professional on the phone and had a truck out to us within 1 hour. We run a resort in town and will always recommend Crawford's to our guests for any of their needs as well as our own! Thanks so much, Chris! You were awesome!

We were traveling from out of town and developed a noise in our 2007 Jeep Liberty. The dealer was unable to look at it and referred us to Crawford's Automotive. They were very polite and courteous. Due to our safety concerns, they test drove and inspected the vehicle assuring us that it was mechanically safe to drive. When we offered to pay for the services, they said that there was no charge. We would highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Crawford's recently. First off, we have taken our vehicles there for years. We took the Trailblazer in for a transmission service. They let us know we would probably need a wheel bearing in a few weeks. We couldn't hear it, but they could. Sure enough, a few weeks later my wife was leaving for work and felt a vibration. Had Troy at Crawford's not warned us about it, she might have continued to drive to springfield. They fixed it quickly and slightly under their estimate. Quick, efficient and polite, but most importantly honest service. Make Crawford's your spot. They are definitely ours.
