Britany did a great job solving a problem that I contacted her with. It was very refreshing to talk to somebody in customer service who is genuinely interested in solving the problem. She was very quick in responding with an answer. More people out there in customer service like her would be great. She should definitely be commended by her bosses.

Delayed pickup after storm for 24 hours completely understandable. Then another 24 hours delay. Email Sunday requesting information about pickup resulted in notification at 2pm on Monday that pickup would occur Monday, but that didn’t help because I was already at work and could put trash out. Call on them on Monday and they promised that trash would be picked up Tuesday. Then, received an automatic call about 1 hour later that there would be no pick up for about 10 days on regular schedule. Can’t do their jobs in timely manner and then won’t tell the truth about their service. Client of Pratt that became Harvey for over 10 years, now looking for alternative.

They've been using the weather delay excuse since Friday 1/30. At this point the weather and trucks breaking down excuses aren't believable anymore. Maybe if the snow storm was still an issue but it happened over one week prior. It's Tuesday 2/3 and they send an automated message after 5pm to let me know they're not coming until our regular day which is Friday. I had called and inquired multiple times to get told trash would be picked up the next day, only for them to never come and not notify us they weren't coming. We're stuck paying $175 per quarter for trash to not get picked up for 2 weeks and it's not the first time this has happened either. This has also happened with holiday delays as well during warm weather.

We are very happy with EL Harvey--they pick up our trash and recycling on time and when there is a delay, they let us know beforehand so we can plan. I especially want to mention Kevin, whom I talked to this morning about a bill. He was kind, patient, and understanding, and fixed my issue right away. I will recommend Harvey to anyone looking to change their pickup company!

I hired EL Harvey about a decade ago for my weekly residential rubbish removal and recycling. We reviewed my private driveway set up and agreed on a price. Service was great until approximately 2022. Since that time, service has deteriorated at an alarming rate. Many missed pick ups, a nearly DOUBLING of my weekly rate with no discussion or communication and the recycling container became a 50/50 decision for the drivers to take the goods. I am guessing both containers were properly picked up "maybe, 65% of the time" in the last 12 months. I was promised credits that I never received. I have raised service and billing concerns many times. I asked for an account cost review in Q4 2025 and no one ever responded. I was promised it would be reveiwed by managment and they would get back to me. The service is so abominable I am canceling tomorrow morning 2/2/2026. It's so sad to see a high quality local family business being sold and the company absolutely destroyed. This was a 5 STAR company, today I rate them as 1 STAR.

I don’t know what it is about this company, but they love leaving trash and recycling after picking up the bins. Clean, not clean, doesn’t matter. They always leave some behind.

***EDIT: been meaning to update this for a while. The customer service manager called me personally and said that there was a supply shortage of bins and they are fully aware of the situation and handling it as quickly as possible. She had already added two weeks of credit onto my account. I definitely appreciated the update! Only thing is I wish I hadn’t spoken to several others before her who didn’t provide any info. Had I know this prior, I would have understood. Hoping this review will change but so far, terrible service. We signed up for new residential trash service on Oct 20th. The service was set to begin the following week on Oct 27th (this Monday). Everything was paid for, email received about confirmation, and I received a voicemail the next day that the bins would be dropped off on Thursday. Nothing came Thursday. So, towards the end of the day I called customer service. She said that dispatch (only 10 mins ago - quote) moved the delivery to Friday. I said okay great no problem. Friday comes. Nothing. By 3:15pm I called customer service again. I said hey I don’t have the bins yet and our service starts on Monday. She said that they are out for delivery and we will definitely have them by the end of the day. I said are you 100% sure and she said yes. It’s now Saturday morning. No bins. We ended up choosing this company because a good number of our neighbors use them. I have no idea what the hold up is but if this is the type of service we can expect moving forward, I would avoid this company.

They missed my pickup on Tuesday. I called in and they told me they would be there Wednesday. They never showed. I called again and they missed Thursday and Friday (I called multiple times each day to ensure pickup). Each time I called the support line was zero help and couldn’t even put a note in to the driver. For a family owned “local company” they do not have good service at all. I am a new customer and couldn’t more disappointed. Will be cancelling my subscription.

I have called them 6 times over the course of a week about a missed trash pick up. Each time I’m assured that someone is coming. But they have not showed up. This is very frustrating. Called again. They’re just not going to bother to get it. We have to wait for our next regularly scheduled pick up. This is so awful. Why????

the rating does not reflect the extraordinary customer service skills of jim stevens, who i spoke with when i cancelled my account this afternoon. jim reviewed my account over the course of the past 5 years and noted the exponential price increase which led me to closing out my account. he was thorough, thoughtful, professional and understanding of my decision. jim is an absolute credit to their organization. respect!

I wanted to give a compliment to Juan. I live in Northborough. He’s always friendly. We can count on him to be here on a regular schedule and is friendly all the time. I’m retired so I can usually catch him for a quick hello. Top notch!

We love EL Harvey! It’s all the little things that our truck driver does that make him so special. ELH is really talented at hiring friendly, caring, customer service oriented professionals that always go the extra mile to help!!

Whether I’m tossing trash or just trying to remember which way to turn, Jamie is always there with a smile, clear directions, and the kind of patience that should be bottled and sold. Her guidance is so good, I sometimes wonder if she moonlights as an air traffic controller. Questions? Concerns? Confusion? Jamie handles it all like a pro—with grace, humor, and zero judgment (even when I ask the same thing twice). If EL Harvey had a Hall of Fame, Jamie would be in it. Gold plaque. Spotlight. Maybe even a parade. Thanks for making trash day feel like a VIP experience, Jamie!

Used Harvey’s for a dumpster, it was delivered on time, placed exactly where we needed it, and picked up promptly when scheduled. The driver Rob Mills was very courteous and professional, also made sure the area was clean and free of debris when it was removed . The process was easy and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable dumpster service!

I can’t say enough about my driver Mike Bosowski! . He is the most courteous driver I’ve ever had!! Always on time, friendly , works very hard .hes quick, and efficient !
