So helpful! I needed an engine light diagnostic to understand if it was worth going to the dealership or not. Kyle was so helpful and diagnosed my car with the sensor that was faulty. Highly recommend!

This company should understand this is 2025? My Wife bought battery here and core is 25$ I Return old battery, didn't have receipt hoping they will find me! No go, ok I understand no big deal, come next day with receipt ? ok no problem but to get 25$ back I have to swipe CC ? my wife use her CC so now back again home to take CC and as everything third time is charm! Guys really? Go to O'Reilly's and do the same, learn from them its 2025 not 1960 !

Competitive prices. I love the fact that they installed my new Battery for free. I had a broken leg so that was a Godsend. It was cold weather outside and by them installing it and keeping my old battery, we didn't have to return to return it to get the Core Charge back.

Have been a customer of Advance Auto Parts for many years. The web site clearly states we will accept ALL waste oil, transmission fluid, gear oil etc. When I told the store manager at the Washington Street Weymouth location, he first told me oil must have been purchased at Advance Auto Parts. When I informed him the website said otherwise, He asked me where I purchased that somewhere else would I return it to advance, not where I purchased the oil. Answer= Because that is the policy of Advance Auto Parts. Then the Manager complained they "only have a small tank". It is also the policy of O'Reiley Auto Parts, who never gives me a hard time. They accept it with a smile. For that reason, I dont find a need to do business with Advance anymore. I brought the same waste oil to O'Reiley and spent my money there instead.

I went in with a vague idea of what I was looking for and Brian went above and beyond to help me - even going out to my car to make sure I was buying the right things! Really appreciated his patience and help.

Easy location and great prices for parts and oil for boat

The guys there don't know what they are doing! Person in the counter have no idea how to run his own computer system asked me 5 times for my number and the fifth time it finally worked. and when I ask for the manager to help him figure the comp. system he replied he is in charge and ask the guy in the back what to do. thumbs up bud what a great a1 service - NOT!!!! Do your self a favor and don't go here- in this particular branch !! it will save you a headache. I hope you really do something about it and not just a response without action I went to Auto zone and get a completely different experience. They even went out of their way to help me load the boxes of parts I purchased. Maybe it's not a lot of money you lost but the word of mouth and reputation is what make business flourished. Thank you for your response .

Had what I needed. The guy running the shop was patient, friendly and helpful despite being the only one there.

The store I go to, (437 Washington St, Weymouth, MA), the employees are useless as a title on a bull. They advertise that if you buy a battery, they will swap it out for you. The kid ( I say this because he couldn't be no more than 20) didn't know how to swap out a battery, let alone how to use a ratchet wrench. I got so frustrated watching him that I took it out of his hands and sent him back inside. I ended up doing it myself. The older employees hid in the back and just sat there and didn't offer any help. What I find funny about this place. The employees hate each other. I was in line day listening to one employee bashing the work ethic of another employee. The next day, the guy he was complaining about the guy from the day before. Saying how he thinks he knows how to do everything and has had to fix something that he said told a customer how to fix it incorrectly. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...

Found what I was looking for. Awesome stock, staff, great overall experience. Will visit again. Really liked the nut/bolt thread check.

So apparently if you buy a product at another Advanced Auto Parts location, you can’t return it here… at least that’s the reason I was given as to why I couldn’t return two quarts of Valvoline transmission fluid I bought from their Dedham location (because it “messes with their inventory”…!?!?) So what’s the point of carrying the name a chain store if you can’t do a simple transaction regarding a purchase from a sister store??? Seems to me like an opportunity for additional training for this employee who seemed more in a hurry to get to his smoke break than help a customer

I came to this location to check my battery. A sales associate Raymond M. Was very helpful and informative! Not only did he check to ensure I didn't need a new battery he also checked my starter and alternator. He took away all my anxiety of being able to drive my car out of state! Awesome customer service!! Thank you again

Every time I go there, i get excellent service. I'm a woman and I needed help with windshield wipers. I was taken care of within 5 min and the young man also put them on for me!!!:)

I took my recycled motor oil for recycling, and the clerk said, "Our store does not sell this motor oil. I will not recycle your motor oil." Then I don't understand. I called to ask customer service,“we were informed that the general rule is that we recycle oil that is bought from advance”. Now I understand why the clerk said“Our store does not sell this motor oil. I will not recycle your motor oil” 。 It means ‘It means you didn’t buy my motor oil, I can’t serve you’。So i take it to AutoZone auto parts. They helped me recycle。I won't introduce friends to advance auto parts.

Was helpful in getting my battery tested. But battery wasn’t the issue. When I tried to start the car again it wouldn’t start. Asked the employee if he could help me jump start the car and he said he couldn’t. I asked if he had a car that I could use as I had jumper cables and he said no. There was a company branded car parked outside.

My fiance and I had such a great experience here! The guy behind the register was so knowledgeable and so helpful, We had went to AutoZone and had such a terrible experience, so it was really nice that the guy at advanced auto parts took the time to help us and explain to us what was better to buy and get for our car.

Good selection of auto repair parts, but oils , batteries and maintenance items much higher in price than other department stores.

I get in these day you take any job. But could you at least try to learn as you go. It bad when you know more than the part store guy. Good help is hard to find

Great staff they knew exactly what to do how to do it when it came to looking for the part I myself have been a mechanical for 15 years I recommend this place to any other mechanic who listens to this post

Came in to get a new battery when it died. Brian suggested I use their website to purchase so I could save 20% using their promo code. He even changed out the battery in the parking lot for us. Great customer service and the price was better than the other place for a Group 24, 750 CA battery. Will definitely come back here for my vehicle needs. Thanks, Brian!

Jeff was definitely having a bad day today! Listened to him talk down to his customers for the 15 minutes I was there. It was bad, so I spoke up and he turned very aggressive. I immediately put down my items and left the store. Hope you have a better tomorrow!

Worst advanced autos ever. It practically has no business most of the time and I can see why now. Something was wrong with my brake pads and they needed to be changed super early (6 months from purchase date) . I still have box and receipt and bought the same ones to change them out. When I replaced them and brought the old ones back to get them checked out and possibly warrantied, the guy there said, “uh, ok...” I’m like, do you need to look at them? He said we don’t cover wear and tear.. and sent me away... like wth? You didn’t even look at them to see what’s wrong and you’re gonna just send me away? “sorry” is the only reply I got... so thanks but no thanks... not happy with the product I received for more expensive than I can get somewhere else, and definitely not happy with the service I’ve got from this specific location...

I love advance auto. I always seem to find 25-35% off coupons around the internet and when done right I manage to make a $300 brake job come out to around $150. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant. Thanks guys.

People there are not professional at all they can not do the gob right order wrong part and want me to pay for the shipping when I ask for my money they want to call the police for me , this is not a joke that wat happened. Very bad experience. Special people work on Sundays.
