No one addresses you when you arrive- and then they make you sort them yourself onto crates which takes much longer than throwing them into a machine yourself. There’s no room on the counter so if a couple people are in front of you it’s too long of a wait. With zero parking, this is too much of a hassle
My mother comes here often to recycle cans and bottles, shes been coming here for a while and never had a problem until today. She came to drop off some boxes which are $1.20, the store men only wanted to give her $1. She speaks broken English and tried to tell them to pay the whole price. They eventually got upset and cussed her out, giving her the middle finger. So anyways, these people are absolutely shady and terrible. Very rude and so I advise others to stay away from this place. Thank you!
Unfriendly place.. they don’t know how to count.. they just stare at you and don’t talk… I come here once every 2 months.. finished up my cans today looked at dude and said my final count and he goes over to the other people before me like as if I wasn’t there.. I think he’s the owner, Dan.. they don’t speak English. They’re rude.. and they always complain about a mess (water) or demand you to come wish washed cans… it’s a redemption place.. there’s gonna be some water ( which I always clean ) .. but I don’t recommend this place. It’s 5 mins from me but I rather take the drive to East Boston with friendlier people. I do NOT recommend going here. After repeating my final count and balance 4 x they didn’t count and just gave me the money.. when I could’ve been before the other people who were clearly second to me….. dans 0 STARS
If you are planning to recycle your bottles at this store, you’ll get a headache! No one here understands English, and their customer service is terrible. I would have rated them 0, but since the rating system doesn’t allow comments, I’m giving them 1 star.
So much better than the machines! Although, it's most ideal for can redemptions. They have racks that hold a case of cans (24). Load the rack and they do the rest.
Brought 5 trash bags of cans that had built up in my basement. You just put them in trays, they help you sort out ones you don’t take, then you are on your way. Way better than the machines.
Good place, only thing is they need to change close time online from 5pm to 4pm because I went there on a Saturday at 4:30pm and they were already closed
Awesome place to go for can/bottle redemption! The overseer/cash handler is the nicest guy & is always helpful! I've gone there 3x & noticed their peak hours are at lunchtime, around 11am/12pm, so it gets a little busy & packed, but usually dies down again less than 30min after the craze.
