I had an appointment at 2:30 PM to fix a nail in my tire, but after waiting for hours my car still wasn’t serviced and the shop was close to closing time. It’s frustrating to schedule an appointment and still not get helped while other cars keep getting taken in. I recently bought four tires here, so I expected better service.

I stopped in after a blowout, and while they weren’t able to source a new tire for me at a cost I could afford, they were willing to swap my spare to the rear, to save my front end, to save the wear and tear on my front end, and they were incredibly quick and helpful and friendly! I would highly recommend this place for anyone in need of tire service!

Horrible experience. Went in to get a new tire because a different location didn’t have the one I needed. I told them I needed a tire that matched the others and they just threw a tire with different treads on because it was the same brand. Then one of the technicians told me that’s what I asked for. How often does a customer ask to get a tire put on different from the other 3 it makes no sense?? Previous to this they told me two hours and it took four hours with only two other customers in there. Sadly things only get worse from here. Upon arriving home when realizing the wrong tire was put on. I noticed chips and scratches all the rim they replaced the tire on. I called and they did not seem very concerned about either thing being wrong so I drove back there. Upon going back they acted like I was causing a problem for them outside of hector who tried to help me. I WAITED ANOTHER 2 hours to get the tire off. The mechanic acted pissed off at me when I brought it back because he messed up and damaged my car. When I got the car back a second time it was filthy inside dirt and scratches all over the doors and seats just to add on to what they already did. Oh, and my rim was just thrown loosely in the compartment with the parts also strewn all over the place. Also they chipped it even more! Way to have pride in your work! Do not go here please I beg of you. If you do, and the white mechanic with tattoos that looks like a Walmart Eminem works on your car, just know your car is cooked. After spending 9 hours of a day there I still need to buy a new tire, repair my rim they damaged, and try and get the dirt and scratches they left all over my interior out now. Thanks Mavis of Everett! Completely incompetent and horrible staff.

Hi everyone. Don't take your cars to Mavis in Everett, MA. Terrible service. I took my Honda Oldssey there this morning to have four new tires fitted. The guy checked my car and there were no lights on, but when I went to pick up my car, the tire light was on. The guy said the sensor was broken, even though he changed the tires and didn't tell me the sensor was broken. I complained to him that he had to fix the problem because the light was on, and he told me he wouldn't fix it because I would have to pay for it, even though they broke the sensor and don't want to fix it. My car still has the light on. I've called several people and they haven't solved my problem. I told them they lost a great customer, and the guy told me not to take my car there again. Terrible service.

I tried to make two appointments online and both times I was called and told I needed to reschedule. Why support online scheduling with a discount for doing so if you never honor the appointment. The most basic of companies have figured out how to schedule across multiple intake methods.

This is my go-to for tires and has been for years. I always get great service from Wayne, Al and the guys who work on my vehicle. They try to find discounts and deals they can offer. I tried going to the location in Cambridge on Mass Ave- what a mistake. No space no room for parking. At least here in Revere they redid the inside waiting area and plenty of parking. It’s great as walk in service but unfortunately the past few days I’ve been coming in because they were busy and wanted to wait not drop off. They need help short staffed and that’s why! So inquire within if you need a job work at Mavis!

The guys here really took care of me! They had me in and out quick and we're so nice. Plus the cost to replace my low profile run flat was so much cheaper than other places I've been too! You have a customer for life now, thank you!

I had my first tire rotation with these guys sometime last year, and it was great. Wayne at the front desk was helpful and attentive. Things seemed to have gone downhill since then. I scheduled another tire rotation with them this year. I arrived at 8 a.m., right on schedule, and was told I’d receive a call when the service was complete. Wayne wasn’t there this day, I noticed. I Ubered back home. By 4 p.m., I still hadn’t received a call, so I called them myself. The guy said, “Oh yeah, it’s ready. You can come get it.” Slightly annoyed, I shrugged it off and Ubered back. When I arrived, I immediately noticed my car was in the exact same parking spot where I had dropped it off. I brushed it off as a coincidence and drove home. My car has cameras that I have set to record whenever the car is driven. When I got home, I checked the footage because I couldn’t shake the feeling that they hadn’t actually rotated my tires. Turns out, they didn’t. My car sat in the same spot all day, from 8 a.m. until the moment I drove it home. They lied to my face about doing the work. It seems a complete group of incompetents is now operating this place. I definitely won’t be coming back for any service here, or at any other Mavis location.

I came out my night shift in the ER to a flat tire. Wayne was amazing and took care of me so quickly. I will surely be returning for any further needs. His excellent service was so appreciated on a tough morning.

I recently visited Mavis to have my brakes and front end checked. Wayne, the representative there, was incredibly helpful. In the end, they found that I didn’t need any brake replacements, and there were no issues with the front end either. I truly appreciated their honesty, especially since other shops might have suggested unnecessary repairs. They took the time to thoroughly inspect everything, and it’s clear that they value customer trust. From now on, I’ll definitely return to this Mavis for any future car needs. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend them!

Super friendly and helpful, I needed a tire and rim replaced very last minute on a Sunday and they were able to fit me in and help me out on short notice. Very reasonably priced and had it done in a timely manner.

Had a flat tire just 30 minutes before closing and they took care of me without any hesitation. The staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Great service when I really needed it—highly recommend this tire shop!

I brought my truck in waited 3 hours for my new tires to be put on that I brought them. They charged me I got home and they didn’t put the tires on and didn’t tell me they couldn’t do the work. Didn’t put my cap back on one of my tires and let me leave with loose lug nuts and my tire is making a noise now after just rebuilding the front end by my tech school. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!

Everyone from the call center to the people we interacted with in person were so knowledgeable and helpful! They gave us a discount that we didn’t know about, and Wayne was especially caring! we had to keep our car at the store overnight during a snow storm and he so generously kept it indoors so it wouldn’t get snowed on. Great place with great people and good prices!

Picture it... first real snow of the year and you're headed home from running errands and you're alerted your tire is critically low. Its 4:15 on a Sunday. What do you do? You call Mavis and speak to an amazing gentleman named Wayne. Not only does he have your tire in stock, if you head there right now they'll replace it tonight! (Mind you they close at 5pm) I was absolutely blown away with the level of customer service I received. These guys are kind, knowledgeable and FAST! I walked in at 4:26pm and had finished checking out by 5:04pm. It was a tire miracle! I cannot thank the team at Mavis Everett enough! Highly recommend! Thank you all!

I made an appointment a week in advance. They had very good offers, and maybe one or two of the staff members were very nice. Today, a Tuesday, I had an appointment at 11 am. I arrived 15 minutes early, and the staff told me they would take an hour and a half to get to my vehicle. I said that was fine since I had an appointment, but unfortunately, it took two and a half hours just for them to change a single tire, even with an appointment. I think making an appointment is pointless if they don't attend to you at the scheduled time. They should improve in that area. Regarding everything else, I'll reserve my opinion. They have good offers and competitive prices and discounts, but the service is very bad and very slow. I'm sorry, but that's the truth.

Thank you Wayne and team! I am new to New England (from FL) and needed to make sure I have weather tires for my Nissan rogue. These guys took my car in right away, checked all tires and even double checked and refilled my coolant. They also went above and beyond and even fixed my rear taillight that I didn’t know was out. As a young, single female this was SO helpful! I can trust my car will get through this winter thanks to you guys. Will definitely be back and will recommend. Thank you!

I had a snow tire that was mounted incorrectly up in Vermont. I discovered it and stopped by Mavis in Everett on a Sunday afternoon to inquire about an appointment. Not only were they actually open, but Wayne and his team were super friendly and understanding, listened to my time constraints and fit me in immediately. In today’s busy world, it feels rare to have this kind of immediate service and turnaround, and I’m super stoked. Thanks guys!

Saturday i woke up ready to go run errands after a busy week at work only to find my car not starting. I called triple AAA and they came but were unable to change and replace the battery so they referred me to Mavis. I drove over where i met Wayne at the front counter. He was kind and knowledgeable and helped me through this process smoothly and efficiently. Today is Sunday and i just picked up my car. She started up quickly and i’m happy to be back on the road. I still have some othe repairs that are needed but obviously to do anything, the car has to start! This was the most important thing and Mavis tire did that for me. Thank you for everything, these are good people.

Last week I took my wife’s car to this Mavis location. We needed a brand new tire for the second time in 4 months. She must really think our family vehicle is a Mack Truck. Needless to say I had a really good experience at a tire service center for the first time! The price was very fair and there was no upselling pressure. Will go again, definitely recommend.

We were five girls traveling from New York and ended up with an air bubble in our tire. We stopped at Mavis and Wayne helped us out right away !! Genuinely what a kind soul! The whole crew was amazing, got us back on the road in no time, and treated us with such kindness. We even brought them donuts as a thank you! Truly great people and incredible service. Highly recommend this location! ???

I brought my car to this Mavis location for what started as a simple flat tire. I ordered a full set of new tires and an alignment. Since I noticed they also do suspension work, I asked the manager if they could install a new suspension I had recently purchased. He said yes, explaining that they just wouldn’t warranty the parts since I provided them — which is completely understandable. I agreed to the work, and was told the car would be ready the next day. The following day, they called to say their ball joint press was down and they’d have to do the job manually, so it would take an extra day. The next day, they told me they couldn’t complete the ball joints at all and that I needed new upper control arms. I bought the parts myself from Advance Auto and Ubered them over. The manager promised the car would be finished the next day. When I came back, the manager told me everything was done except that the ABS light wouldn’t turn off — they might have damaged an ABS sensor and would need another day. This was the only time they apologized and covered my Uber home. The next day they said the car was ready, so I picked it up and paid. I didn’t get more than 10 feet before the ABS system started violently triggering on and off. I immediately went back inside. The manager admitted again they might have damaged an ABS sensor and promised to replace it. After several more days, they replaced one sensor, but the car was still undrivable. The ABS and VSA systems would activate violently whenever I touched the brakes. Over the next several visits — spanning roughly ten days — they kept the car, replaced more sensors, and eventually told me the brakes just needed to be bled. I picked it up the day before a work trip, and within one minute of driving, the same issue returned. When I called, they admitted they couldn’t fix the problem and promised to cover the cost if another shop repaired it after my trip. A week later, I returned and called to speak with the manager, only to find out he had quit (or been fired). The new manager, Jaleel, said he knew nothing about the agreement and refused to pay for outside repairs, insisting I bring the car back to them. So, I did — for the fifth or sixth time. After another week, they told me it was fixed. They had replaced two more sensors and now claimed the issue was my battery (which was fine). When I went in, the new manager blamed me for all the problems, saying it was because I brought my own parts. I explained that the previous manager approved the job and that the shop had already admitted to damaging my car. He continued to argue and blame me in front of other customers, refusing to take responsibility and even refusing to give me a copy of the work performed. At that point, I took my car to the independent shop the previous manager had originally recommended — on my own dime. That shop found multiple damaged wheel bearings and even discovered broken drill bits left inside two of them, rolling around near the wheel sensors. They said it was one of the wildest things they had ever seen. These were the original bearings, so the damage clearly came from Mavis’s work. The new shop repaired everything, and the car now drives perfectly. In total, I spent nearly $4,000, went 6–7 weeks without my car, and spent hundreds more on Ubers back and forth to Mavis. Bottom line: This Mavis location — especially under the new manager — is completely unprofessional. The previous manager at least took accountability and tried to make things right. The new one just blamed me and refused to help. Unless you’re getting something simple like a tire change, avoid this Mavis at all costs. They will lie, damage your car, and refuse responsibility. Currently Mavis corporate is doing an “investigation” into the matter. Has been 6 weeks up to this point and nothing so far I’ve attempted to contact the regional manger multiple times with just a response of “the investigation is on going”. Their quality guarantee is questionable and this point.

Went in on a random day in a rush and was met with the best customer service! Wayne greeted me, helped me out, sensed my urgency and even walked me through the whole process and despite being my first time in, Truly made me feel valued as a customer! Might actually come back to do a few more things I would have previously went elsewhere for just because it was such a great experience!!!

Review If you’re stuck on the side of the road, waiting for a tow truck and figuring out where to take your car this is for you. I had my car dropped off in Mavis’ parking lot overnight and showed up the next day without issue after scheduling an appointment online. Dave & Wayne were extremely helpful - I had 2 warped rims and blown tires, and Dave was quick in his assessment, communicative on next steps, and sympathetic. I was able to source 3rd party wheels, have them delivered to Mavis, and have them mounted within hours of their arrival, all at a fair price. Dave & Wayne made a somewhat stressful situation easy to manage, and gave me just the right amount of updates, and even went above and beyond when one of the wheels had a crack in gathering evidence and re-packaging it for me to make the return process easier. Appreciate all the service!

I had a great experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes! Quick, easy, and professional service. Wayne helped me out after O’Reilly Auto Parts refused to swap and exchange my battery, even though I had a 3-year warranty with them. Wayne was extremely kind and had my battery swapped in less than 10 minutes. The shop gets you in and out fast, and at a discounted rate. If you’re in the area, you must try them out and you won’t be disappointed!
