I hired this mobile service for a diagnostic/repair and it was a total waste of $300. I provided a car with the bumper already removed for easy access, yet the technician couldn’t identify the issue. His final "diagnosis" was that the resistor was getting hot—which go figure... is the basic physics of a resistor. When I questioned why I was paying a professional fee for a basic observation that didn't fix the car, I was met with blank stares. I followed up with the company via email to request a refund for a failed service, and they have ignored me entirely. If you have a performance vehicle or a complex electrical issue, do not trust this business. They are happy to take your money for "nothing" and then disappear when held accountable. Think they called within 1 minute of sending the invoice, and absolutely no response concerning my issues with the service. STEER CLEAR! Know what makes it worse? I figured it out MYSELF! Look elsewhere people. Wish I could put 0 stars.

I definitely would recommend them!!!! 10/10 Mechanic was very knowledgeable of my situation and reassured me that everything would be fine!! This was the very first time I used a mobile mechanic service and they did not disappoint!! I will be a returning customer!!!

I paid for diagnostic, and they never show up. After they came, they didn’t let me know what went wrong with the car, until after 8 days they didn’t send the quote. I kept calling everyday and they wasted my time. If you know you can’t do home repair of car, stop wasting people’s time. I don’t even trust the average 4 star they have here.

They did a great job communicating and getting me the help I needed. The technician did a great job replacing my drag link. The price was reasonable as well.

They are only receiving 1 star for the initial customer service we received from Eddie. Oladayo, the mechanic, appeared to have SUBPAR expertise, at best. My car wouldn’t start and I thought it was the battery. We shopped around and they charged a comparable $229 fee to come and replace the battery. They appeared to be a black run business, so we definitely wanted to support them. Oladayo arrived at my job over an hour late (I had to call him to find out his first customer had not arrived on time) and after DIAGNOSING my car for all of 3 minutes, he informed me that my battery was fine and that he was positive my starter needed to be replaced for a whopping fee of $568. All I saw him do was attach a small device to my battery, so I asked him what diagnosis he did on my starter. He informed me that he could not access my starter and would have to take my engine mount apart to replace it. So I asked how much it would cost if he took my engine mount apart, installed a new starter, and my vehicle still would not start...$275; but he knew it would start. While I called my husband to discuss and spoke to Ken in customer service, the service was halted because the security guard contacted the building manager who would not give him permission to do the work in the garage. So now I would have to tow my vehicle out of the garage for it to be serviced. Trusting that Oladayo knew what he was talking about, my husband shopped around to get us to starter, in an effort to not pay an up charge on the part and just pay for the labor. He contacted Eddie and was informed that it would still cost $268 to install. We started calling shops and found one who would install it for $120, so we went with them instead. $210 starter + $270 tow + $120 labor = $600 later, I found out that my vehicle didn’t need a new starter. It only needed a $6 FUSE. Meanwhile, Oladayo and Ken started calling to find out how I wanted to pay the $65 fee for Oladayo coming out to DIAGNOSE my vehicle. After I shared what the other mechanic discovered and how I paid 100x more than I should’ve for my issue, Ken apologized profusely and said good thing you didn’t pay the service charge up front. 🤯 Then he offered me a free oil change. I have no intention of letting this company touch my vehicle again. NO THANKS. But they were set on receiving a 5 star rating, so I passed Ken over to my husband. He offered a free lunch for 2 on them. My husband said sure, provided our cash app info Ken requested, and have heard nothing after that conversation. NEVER AGAIN

We recently used Mars 2 Cars Mobile Mechanics for a brake service and oil change, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. From start to finish, the experience was convenient, professional, and efficient. They came directly to us, saving time and hassle, and got the job done quickly without compromising on quality. The mechanic was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was being done. Our vehicle is running smoothly, and the brakes feel great. Highly recommend Mars 2 Cars to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile auto service!

Company was very responsive. I sent an online inquiry the night before when my car battery died and was contacted the following morning. The mechanic, Alec, called and was there within about 20 minutes. Quick, professional, with great customer service. I recommend this company!

I scheduled an appointment for 3/17/24. They called me at the end of the day to reschedule. I moved my schedule around for the next appointment on 3/18/24. I spoke with Alias at 9:10 am, 1:21pm, and 4:46pm. They asked to reschedule again. They attempted to say their mechanic contacted me with no answer but didn't leave any message or text. I asked to speak with their supervisor, Eddie, but that phone doesn't have a voice-mail set up and did not answer. This company waste people time for there convenience without proper scheduling. I don't know how their service is but I can't even get to that point to review it. Moving on to find a more reliable service.

Should have paid more attention to the review about being charged $95 to be told to go to a mechanic. The same happened to me and very disappointed with wasted time and money. Was told water pump is a very big job on my truck. Would have been nice to know upfront or at least been given the disclaimer that some jobs cannot be done via mobile service. Felt like I was ripped off for a diagnostic when I was told I’d get an invoice for the repair at the end. Doesn’t seem like the skills to do the job existed and that’s fine but now I get to go back to the drawing board as a result less $95 that could have gone toward this big job as they stated.

waste of money he charged me 85.00 to tell me you need to go to a mechanic...lol I knew that i thought thats what you all were? Edit: I thought you guys fix the problems not just diagnose them. A diagnosis would be nice if he's like buy these parts do these things but basically he told me I think it's the transmission he didn't even sound very sure about that. So now I just have to go to another mechanic. He didn't even write an official looking report so the other mechanic I go to I can't just tell them hey I called Mars to cars and they think it's the transmission they're going to charge me another diagnosis fee. He said he'd send me pictures but I didn't get them yet

Eddie provided awesome customer service. He patiently walked me through the entire diagnostic process to root cause the issue with my vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and fielded all of my questions. This was my first experience using a mobile mechanic service. I was very impressed and plan to reach out to these guys in the future for servicing my vehicle.

I had a great experience today with Mars2Cars. The technician,Cameron, is very professional. He kept me updated as he had to wait for parts, made some recommendations about some additional work I need some but wasn’t trying to upsell to me by preserving IG it as an emergency. I got my rear brakes done today while I was in the comfort of my home and at much less than what a shop would likely have charged because they probably would have told me has to replace a bunch of other things immediately. Very professional, quick service and I highly recommend.

I called to diagnose "check engine" light on dash. I was thinking I needed a new catalytic converter [about $1,200 to $2,000]. Eddie came out and said he thought the converter was ok based on his readings on his diagnostic computer but the O2 sensors may need to be replaced and I should wait to see. Eddie was really easy to deal with and friendly and very professional. He did mention I needed only front brakes replaced [I knew the brakes were worn but I assumed front AND rear]. A technician came out and replaced the front brakes. He was very easy to deal with and polite and I watched him work hard and carefully. The price was reasonable for the job and well done. Good quality parts were used. I will use mars2cars again when needed and highly recommend them to anybody else. Having the work done at my home was great and very convenient. The $135 diagnostic cost was not applied to the brake repair job but I was told that it WOULD be applied to replacing the oxygen sensors or cat. converter if needed later since that was what the diagnosis visit was for.

I had to get my alternator replaced. They came the same day within two hours of the service call. Extremely please with the service and professionalism. I will definitely use them again and have recommended Mars2cars to many.

I got new brake pads rotors and 2 calipers installed on my street. Very convenient. They installed parts supplied by me. Except one caliper which I got through them and it was priced fairly. So far so good. Setting up appointment could’ve been a little easier, it wasn’t always clear where to direct questions & concerns before the appointment. But everything got done quickly so can’t complain. Will use their services again and highly recommend.

I contacted them because my car wouldn’t start. I didn’t know what the problem was so I purchased a new battery the day before. They came and the charge was $85 for the diagnostic test. They said it was the starter. They told me they would provide the part and I would pay for the labor/service. So I let them put the starter on and was charged $351. Mind you they came to me so when they told me they were done I come outside and the mechanic started the car. I’m thinking every is fine. I go outside the very next and the car DOESN'T start. They come back, jump start my car, mind you it had a new battery but the mechanic said he drained it putting the starter in. He move some wires and it starts. 2 days later same issue. No start. They come back and tell me this time it’s an electrical issue but a supervisor has to come fix it. I talk to the supervisor but at this point I’m annoyed with paying for a starter and now they’re telling me that isn’t the issue. So I decided to have my car towed to the Nissan dealer. I advised them that the starter is new and so is the battery. They do a diagnostic test and tell me it is the starter and the one put in was “faulty” 😑. I called Mars 2 cars and inform him of what Nissan says and of course I got every excuse in the book and was told to rectify the issue they’d come out and fix my car again but why would I trust you to do that when that’s what you were supposed to do the first time. So I let Nissan fix my car and all together I paid $1451. No Mars 2 Cars did not offer to give me my money back. I even ask to see the receipt for the starter they purchased but was not presented with one. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM….ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE FEMALE AND KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CARS!

Went to use my vehicle on Sunday but to my surprise it would not start then found out it was my battery I called everywhere to find the battery unfortunately no one had it I went to my google search page and found Mars2cars I called and the owner Eddie answered the phone he told me he could get the battery and come install it for me which I thought was awesome and the price was great once he arrived at my location he shared industry information and educated me on how to keep my vehicle operational and installed my battery in 10 minutes. Thanks to Mars2Cars I was able to continue my day. I truly recommend using this service because they come to you. Give them a call.

The service was fantastic. I called and was amazed at how easy the team is to work with and how reasonable the price was. Cam came out and did a fantastic job getting my truck running again and did not leave until I was 100% satisfied and the job was complete. He went above and beyond and now this teams number is saved on my phone under my mechanics. If you want convenience and great service look no further. I will be calling them whenever I have an issue and will also look for them for my regular maintenance. Thanks again for excellent service!!!

Good News, they fixed my car. Unfortunately they charged im my opinion and outrages price for it. I was charged $265 ($200 minus the Diagnosis fee)for him to remove the battery and ground the starter with a cable that I provided. I also was not informed of what the problem was before the fix was made.(Diagnosis) Had I been, I would have done the work myself. He was here for up to 1hr. So their labor rate must be sky high.( attached is a call from the tech when he was 15mins away and a text receipt after the job, notice the time between the two) Caution, they will fix your car, but specifically ask "For a Diagnosis First, before any work is done". This will help them from taking advantage of your emergency situation. I got buddy-buddy with the Mechanic and paid $200 for it. Dont be like me. *Update in Reply to Owner* As stated before I was not told the diagnosis before the Technican fixed the problem. Thereby I couldnt authorize him to fix it, he never gave me the option. He went from Diagnosis to Fixing the problem without informing me. As you stated I called for a $65 Diagnosis of the problem. No matter how you spin the story, I believe that your business is overcharging customer because you know they are in a desperate situation. For example you just stated that the Diagnosis Fee is $65. Yet i was charged $85.(see photo) Do you have a cute story to elaborate on that?

I would HIGHLY recommend Mars2Cars! I was a little leery about their services based upon the reviews I read online. HOWEVER they were nothing less than perfect. Both Cam and Eddie worked on my car. They were fast, efficient and professional. I loved how they are mobile and were able to come to my location, instead of incurring cost to have my car towed. The worked they preformed ended up requiring 2 days of work, and they did not expect payment until the work was complete (which made me feel very comfortable.) Needless to say, I will definitely be using them for any future repairs.
