I was rushing to get an oil filter that I needed for the next day and caught them a few minutes before closing. (Which I highly dislike being that type of customer so I was already dreading the flustered stares and sighs). My experience was completely the opposite 😁. Eric at the Lanham, MD location was pleasant, professional and rung me up, (even joking around with me). Coming from training and developing staff, it was very appreciative that he treated me like I'm sure he would if it was earlier in the day. So, Eric, I kept my promise and leaving a review. Thank you for your customer service. Hopefully you get more than a kudos!

I have been looking for a replacement outlet plug for my Jeep Grand Cherokee for a while. I went in to my Advance Auto Parts store and met Rob. He was wonderful! He took the time to locate the part number and helped me order it on line. He was so very helpful!!! Thank you Rob for your exceptional service!

The first time I went to get a battery I was offered two different prices, a cheaper price if I paid cash and another price if I paid credit card. I went there today to get another battery for my other car and never have heard so many excuses as to not change the battery. It was so obvious that they did not want my business or to work so I went up the street and got it done within five minutes at AutoZone.

Called to see if they would test my battery and alternator. They said no cause of rain. Took it to Autozone, and they gladly did it and got me the battery I needed.

David was very helpful and got me my spark plugs Kenny was also very helpful and very kind and greeted me at the door. I would also like to add that recently the customer service has greatly improved Especially in the mornings. 10/10 will recommend Update: David is now the General Manager and i wouldnt have it any other way. The store has improved greatly since the last time i was there. From what i was informed, david hasnt even been general manager a year and he already turned the store around completely! Anyways, 1,000/10 stars!

So I have been looking for parts for my granddaughter's car. I called to see if the store had several items. Although the in stock items were limited, Laurie printed out each item with the stock number and picture and provided a list of other area stores that had items in stock. She saved me much leg work and I consider her to be an asset to the store and the company. Thank you, Laurie!

I was up there last week to buy a battery I was told that I could buy the battery but they would not be able to install because of the type of car I have that it needed a computer reset and only a auto shop could do so but that was not the case I went to Auto Zone and bought a battery and had it installed right there in the parking lot of Auto Zone by one of there sale rep who said that my car does not need to a computer reset of any type to change a battery will not ever recommend anyone to go here again

I was up there to get a New headlight light bulb and Mr Felix Alvarez was outstanding. He got me the light and he put it in my headlight for me. I had a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and he fixed it right away. Thanks Alvarez Manning MOORE A++

I had a bad experience with an online order at this location. If you can, try to visit a location with a staff that is more knowledgeable about auto parts.

I want to give a special shoutout to Zesco for being so super helpful! I’ve never had such a positive experience at an auto parts store but he was very courteous and helped me find exactly what I needed. I will certainly go out of my way to visit this location again for the great customer service. I was greeted upon entry and departure in addition to the excellent service. This has certainly set a positive tone for the rest but of my day and I’m extremely grateful for that.

Falsely accused of shoplifting after being racially profiled. I was shopping at the Advance Auto Parts in Lanham, MD and after purchasing a bottle of tire shine an employee walked up to me after the cashier handed my receipt and asked me “Do you want to take that out of there?” pointing to his stomach. I was unclear as to what he meant and he then clarified and stated that saw me take something off the shelf and put it under my shirt. I asked him if this was a joke and he made it clear that he was serious. I was in the store for about 5 minutes and only touched one item in the store which was the tire shine that I purchased. Per his request, I lifted up my shirt in the middle of the store and emptied my pockets and nothing from the store was there. I was hoping and expecting that this situation would be resolved and that he would apologize. Instead, he responds by saying “Well I guess you put whatever you stole back.” I immediately asked for the manager and he told me that he was in fact the manager. I asked him to check the camera footage immediately because I never put anything from the store in my pockets or under my shirt and he agreed that he would. He was adamant that he saw me put something rectangular (I’m assuming my cell phone) under my shirt. Again, the only thing I touched in the store was the bottle of tire shine which I purchased. I then followed him to the front of the store so that we could review the camera footage together and so that he could finally give me an apology after embarrassing me in front of everyone in the store. The manager, Christian Martinez, told me that he couldn’t do so until the store closed because he couldn’t leave the cashier on the floor alone. He persisted on telling me that he saw me take something and does not owe me an apology but refused to review the cameras. I called back the next day and he still had not reviewed the cameras at the time. I will never go to this store again and my attorney has been contacted.

Nothing special. The store could use some updating.it looks more like it is on the verge of going out of business more than being a bustling destination for shoppers. There is no greeting or anything inviting about this store.

I think the employee's are extremely unhelpful. If this wasn't the closest to or shop and I needed a battery, I would never shop there. I'm certain I'm never going back.

Some employees are very unprofessional and my visit was terrible. I went to get oil for my car and spent more than 30minutes. I end up to cancel the order.
