Same as other review, told me 45 min. After an hour passes I call to make sure I gave the right location. Only for him to tell me he’s on the way and traffic is really really bad. Text call 20 min later and nothing. Not even man enough to say I can’t make it. Left me on the side of 495 in a dangerous position. Thanks

Absolutely terrible I called to get a tow he tells me an hour. I wait 2 hours then call since he didn’t show up yet just for him to tell me 10 more min and not come at all. I call back no answer each time says you’ve reach Verizon wireless. I call from another number it picks up second ring. I just wanted a tow I have no idea what that was about. But it was a HUGE waste of my time. I do not recommend. Very UNPROFESSIONAL.

I had a great experience. They arrived quickly, handled my vehicle with care, and provided outstanding customer service. The driver was professional and courteous, making a stressful situation much easier. Highly recommend their reliable and efficient service!

I wanted to leave a positive review for this company. I was stranded with h my son after another tow company tried to snatch my vehicle from a parking lot. I called the police to report Prince George’s Towing company located in Beltsville Md. I called Double J towing and the tow truck driver was professional and courteous! He used the proper equipment to tow my SUV and got us home safely!!!!

Very poor customer service .. please ask them about their rate before you let them pick up your car.. I was charged $217 for 2miles

The customer service was the best from the multiple places I called. They said it would take 20-35 mins to tow my car from where I was and although it took much longer (it took about an hour because of business issues), the service remained great. The person who came to pick up my car looked really really young but wow, he knew what he was doing. Props to him for all of his hard work.

Our vehicle died and we were stuck in the left lane of the road. I called Double J Towing and they said they would be here in 20 minutes, and they were! Usually that's a rarity in the towing industry. Collin our driver was very professional and careful in his actions on the road and also loading and unloading the vehicle at our destination. I will definitely call them in the future and recommend them to others! Thanks again Double J Towing! 😉👍

They are very unprofessional I called them to see where my car was located after my accident and was told that they only have a 21 day courtesy hold and after that the car will be “removed “ from their lot. I was never contacted and told that information, I asked if I could meet J at the lot to get my tags and was told that the owner “J “ instructed “J” not to give me the address to get my personal items out of my car. There is no physical address, there is no manager to speak to because he is supposedly out of town, there is no last names given and everyone’s name is J.

Very professional, accommodating, and assisted with problem solving. Great experience and will definitely use company again. Felt comfortable and confident my vehicle would be transported safely and efficiently. Will be referring other people to the company.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I called and inquired about getting my car towed to a repair shop, and was told that it would take about 45 minutes to get to me. After an hour passed by, I called to follow up and was told they were stuck in traffic. After ANOTHER hour and a half passed by, I called again, several times, and no one answered or called me back. I would advise you to take your time and money to a business that communicates effectively, because the dishonesty and horrible customer service that I just experienced with Double J Towing & Transport is infuriating.

These guys were a life saver. We were driving through town from NC to CT and broke down after midnight on a holiday weekend on 495. They met us at the car with a new battery and installed it. After running a test with his meter, he realized our alternator was bad. He arranged for a tow truck and gave me a card to reach him in the morning. On Sunday morning, he had a mechanic meet us at their shop and install the new alternator for us. Incredible service, fair pricing, and they went above and beyond to make sure we got back on the road safely. They even called later to make sure our drive was going okay. We couldn't be more grateful for the help these guys gave us. Five star!

I would give ZERO stars if possible. The owner of this company, "J", employs dishonest business practices and I will be reporting him to the BBB. J originally quoted me $225 to have my disabled car towed to a local repair shop. I told him that I preferred to wait until morning so that I could speak to my insurance company about coverage. He stressed that as long as I had coverage, my insurance would "cover everything". So against my better judgement, I agreed to let him tow my car to his lot. What I didn't realize was that J was roping me into paying for two tows, one to his lot and then another from his lot to the repair shop. Then to boot, because he was out of the country for a few days, we couldn't get the details worked out with my insurance company and the car wasn't towed to the repair shop for 3 days. Long story short, I get a bill for $650. He was charging me for 2 tows @ $225 each, along with 4 days of storage @ $50/day. After paying the bill (what choice did I have?), I submitted the receipt to my insurance company who promptly rejected the claim stating that they only cover a single tow and don't cover any storage fees. This meant that they would only be reimbursing me for $225. So much for J's claim that my insurance company would "cover everything". When I called J back to discuss, he gave me nothing but attitude stating that I was being rude to him. I mean, what did he expect after blatantly lying to me and tricking me into paying for 2 tows? I will say this about J. While my experience with him was terrible, my couple of phone calls with his son, J Jr. were nothing but pleasant. J Jr. was respectful and polite and apologized several times on behalf of his father. I think pops should take some pointers from his son on how run a business IMHO.

Jesus and his dad were extremely helpful when my car broke on the 4th of July afternoon 35 miles away from home. They were able to accommodate the four of us including a toddler and give us a safe ride home before the fireworks traffic. I am very grateful and sorry for not being able to tip more as I appreciate a lot hardworking and fair family run small businesses who genuinely strive to help people in trouble. Thanks a lot!

I went through my Insurance company road side assistance and they delayed service for 4.5 hours and I couldn’t wait any longer so I called JJ Towing and explained my situation to them and they came in 20 minutes and towed my Suv to my dealership. Very professional service and friendly experience. I will definitely used the company again. This is my second time using the Towing Company and both times the wait was short and came in the time frame promised.

I couldn't recommend this company enough. Jay helped me during a very difficult time. After many failed attempts of finding a reliable tow truck service through my insurance, I started looking on my own & came across him. Where I was located was difficult to find & I wasn't familiar with the area. When I called he took his time & explained everything. He was patient, honest & very nice. He had a hard time finding me as well BUT he stayed on the phone with me until he found me ! I don't live in the area but hands down, I would definitely use this company again. I mean just read the previous reviews. That's what sold me & I'm so happy I reached out to him. Keep up the great customer service, you're doing amazing !

Johnny the driver was on point. Loaded up my disabled truck and we were on our way . Towed me 30 miles to the shop I requested . Great personality, great conversation. Good ending to a less than perfect day

Mr. Jay gave me top-notch, expert service when my battery died in my driveway. He actually brought the new battery to me immediately and changed it. It took about 40 minutes. He was also knowledgeable about the Geico reimbursement program, which I didn’t even know about. Mr. Jay turned a frustrating and inconvenient experience into a pleasant one. Amazing service! My boyfriend had an accident on the road and double j towing just so happen to be driving by in his personal car and stopped to see if he could help. He works for our insurance company so it worked out perfectly. He went and dropped off his car and got his tow truck and towed us back to falls church. We were very blessed that he stopped to help us so quickly. I would definitely recommend to a friend. Very helpful, thanks so much!

Great customer service. I used them twice in the past week. Jesse was my driver, very professional. Hopefully I won't need to get towed again, but if I do. I will be calling Double J Towing. Thank you. Also arrived with 20 minutes both times.

The gentleman was courteous and responsive on the phone. I was fortunate to have them come out and do an emergency battery replacement at a very competitive price. The fact that he arrived after 11:00 pm (on less than an hour notice) and stayed past midnight to be sure the job was done correctly speak volumes about their integrity and work ethic. I do not write many reviews, but felt compelled to do one in this instance. My car is an SC430 and the electronics are very sensitive, somebody who did not know what they were doing could have potentially turned this into a nightmare. Not to ramble on but you guys @ "Double J" have a customer for life and I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend them to family, friends, and colleagues. Thanks again guys!!! :) Steve

Not only did he get my vehicle running in few moments, but he provided me with the services I'll need to be confident though-out the winter and beyond. Every household needs a trustworthy service provider for their vehicles. I’d recommend bookmarking this company and calling them first if you are ever in need.

Highly recommend! My car stopped running on 495 during rush hour. Called Double J and they had someone on the way immediately. They are prompt, professional and very courteous. Jonathon our driver was wonderful, very friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring.

Our driver was Jay, the owner. He provided excellent service and reached us way before his eta. He was very pleasant and also very professional.
