Paid for them to send a part to me and they suggested sending it to me and told me it would get to me the next day. Found out that they didn't ship it until the next day when it should have been here and I told them the day before I would pick it up so I could have it. If you get a part from here, don't do shipping at all. I don't even care about the $20 extra, I just needed the part. Sad that companies don't care anymore. I would have picked it up but they just wanted the extra $20 cause I was quoted less than what the owner wanted. They sent the wrong part and put my calls on hold. All I want is the right part or my money for their mistake
Very unprofessional. I called and I was told the part is available. Only for me to drive 1hour to the store and they Said the part is not available. Pls deal cautiously with them so you won't waste your time.
Been getting parts here for 20 years. You get the support you need, and remember you although they’re always busy . They have over compensated more than a few times when I returned for credit.
The guy that waited on me was very helpful and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with the item that I bought. I would definitely recommend that you go there if you need parts for your vehicle
Went here for a battery in an emergency situation Mr John was amazing he helped me with my battery and told me if I have any questions that I could come back in or call . The prices are reasonable an they have pretty much everything your car may need.

Sold me a junk cylinder head, I called and they were of no help. Don’t offer a warranty if you don’t stand behind it. Cylinder head they sold me was a sludge motor, cam lopes looked like they had sand in them, part of a windshield glass was even in the cylinder head. If I was going to rebuild a cylinder head I would have rebuilt the one that was on there currently !! Waste of $250 … do not recommend this company
Also: cylinder 3 has 2 bent valves. Complete junk cylinder head. Thanks for wasting my time!
Most of the auto supply used parts companies in this area are remove the parts yourself. These guys remove the parts, put them on a shelf, and make them available for purchase. 5 minutes after I walked in I had the tail light assembly I needed, at a fair price. I paid and was out of there in 10 minutes. I was very pleased.

I love it that they pull the part for you. The woman who answers all the calls is very unprofessional. She uses expletives while talking to others workers with you on the line.
She's knowledgable about car parts however.
There I'd a no refund policy buy read your receipt they explain it, besides that I will ALWAYS go to East Side. Purchased a radio for my 300C had to bring it back and they were patient and extremely helpful to Mr. Later found a wheel and door for same vehicle reasonably priced. Again workers were extremely helpful. if you have a complaint about this place it's probably your mistake

Right part was ordered, but wrong part was shipped. They didn't check...cost me money and time. It was reordered, but no discount or taking the disadvantages it cost me like paying for rides bc the car couldn't be fixed at 1st. And it was a weekend
I am very dissatisfied with my experience at East Side Auto Recycling.
I purchased a part for my Toyota- turned out it wasn't the right one for my make and model (they never asked me for my VIN which I learned later every parts store will ask you for a VIN prior to seeing you a part to make sure you have the right piece.)
So I called them within 24 hours to ask for a refund (because they actually didn't have the right part for my car in stock) and they pursued to hang up on me mid-sentence after yelling at me. I was in complete shock by their terrible customer service.
I now have to go to another parts store to purchase what I need. I paid for my part twice now. I am frustrated and will never go back to them again. If I can give them a zero I would.
