Caught a flat tire on my way to work at 8:30am during rush hour in downtown traffic avoiding an accident on the busiest street in the city! My tow was very quick to arrive (faster than my ride, and faster than the dispatcher said) and the driver was very kind and pleasant. I wish I’d asked his name so I could shout him out individually but: dude who picked me up in Druid Hill Park, I appreciate you!
Quick and courteous service, helped me out with a flat. Called them up and they were over in under 30 minutes. Definitely recommend these guys if you need some roadside help.
I recently called to get my vehicle a jump start. The guy said $100. Really for a damn jump start. And I’m literally only 8 minutes from the business. Really. $100 to drive 8 minutes to do jump start.
Although it was expensive for me, it had to be done, and because I have an all wheel drive, he had the extra wheels to lift the back wheels up off the ground. I was pleased with the service.
I'm not one to leave reviews much, but this service was so bad I have to help others who may be in need of towing. I simply contacted this company for tow service and every aspect of it was bad. I wish I would've read the reviews before contacting them. I would NOT recommend this company.
Great job taking care of an abandoned bus sitting on our property. Reliable and help us when we were getting the run around from the city. If you need a tow give them a call!
Great towing company. Glen is very skilled at towing. He also made me feel comfortable about the towing. He took pictures and when he got to the garage, he called me to let me know whom he gave the car key to. Very good experience over all.
Very good service! My car's wheel was crooked in a garage having a clearance of 6'8''. I asked my insurance company to find a tow truck, and they spent over 4 hours and didn't get me one. Then I found Whitelock on Google. The driver arrived in less than 30 minutes after my call, and he was very professional and got the job in a pefect way.
I thought I needed to be towed when my car wouldn't start. When I called, they gave a time estimate and someone showed up when they said they would. Tow truck noticed that the battery wasn't connected (had come loose on its own) and fixed it on the spot, no need to go into the shop. Seems like a professional and honest business from my experience.
Glen was GREAT what else can I say extremely professional. Glen my towing guy was amazing he came in less than 1hr and positioning my car correctly behind my house when triple A said they couldn’t. Just all out great work would recommend to everyone.. fast, easy, and cheap
My car wouldn’t start after I went in the grocery store. I called the number my friend gave me. The guy came out in less than 30 mins, was very nice, respectful and, helpful. He towed the car back to my house and gave me a number to a local mechanic who fixed my car the next day. 10/10 Recommended
Lack of customer support and unprofessional behavior. Called them to get some info regarding towing a box truck, the person who answered did not want to take the order and hanged up the phone saying he needs more info regarding the situation. Then ask more appropriate questions then ....
The starter in my vehicle quit working while parked in a 7'0" underground parking garage in Baltimore. After coordinating with the provider, Robert from Whitelock responded in a timely fashion with an appropriate tow truck to extricate my vehicle from the garage. Robert was also extremely knowledgeable about my type of vehicle and how best to tow it without doing any collateral damage to it. He was friendly and professional and a safe driver while we towed it for 39 miles on I-95.
Not that I'm in the market for towing companies, but if you ever need a safe reliable tow from a driver you can trust to do a good job, Robert is the guy. A respected professional who takes his job seriously.
Real genuine guy, he looked out for me. Got up out of bed 4 am in the morning and took me 25 miles to my location. Highly recommend for anybody needing towing. Very professional
Initial quote was $160 with 13miles. The tow guy said I went over 2extra miles and will charge me $180. I used my card he said that’s another $10. Alright, I paid total of $190 and I guess they like to charge $10 extra per mile? That’s pretty expensive and won’t use them again.
Edit: Robert (not the gentleman I spoke with) called me after I wrote this review and we had a productive conversation about the incident. I don’t wish anyone ill will, I just wanted this to be a learning experience on how to better assist customers. I appreciated that he took time out of his day to talk with me to better understand the situation. That was a very nice gesture and I hope that this company can learn and grow from this experience.
Terrible customer service. The gentleman on the phone said I would need to get inside the tow truck when it arrived to show them where my car was. Then he berated me, mocked me, and laughed in my face and told me to “be a man and follow simple instructions” after I kindly told him that the garage where my car was located was so small that that wouldn’t be necessary. It is a small residential garage with only 2 stories, and you can see my car from the entrance. He got offended and started acting very immature, and said that I was “talking back” and not following his directions, when all I was trying to do was clarify how small the garage really was. There was no need for me to get inside the tow truck when my car was right near the entrance. That’s all I was trying to convey and he took it like I was being rude and disrespectful. I said, “I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way” and he laughed at me and hung up. He said that he wouldn’t service me because of “my attitude,” when really he was the one with the terrible attitude and extreme disrespect. I will never recommend this towing company. They lost out on $280 today because of this guy’s immaturity and lack of people skills. Unfortunately I don’t remember his name, but the second time I called back he answered, so I assume he is the manager. He said “I am the only one that can help you,” but I managed to find another towing company with actual people skills who were able to help me.
The worst Towing experience ever they charged my bill by over 55% because he had to wait.
They held my car hostage until I paid the full amount.
If your car is worth anything to you don't get it to buy these guys they suck
