Go there for all my parts that I don't get from dealership. All there workers are very helpful. Just bought a new battery and they installed it and replaced my battery terminal for free. Will always come back to this location.

I went to this Advance on Saturday the 8th. There was an Advanca Auto Parts employee named Mike. I said hello Sir, how are you? He said “busy.” I said I just have a quick question and he said “I’m too busy to answers any questions. So, I won’t be going to Advance anymore. Autozone it is. Horrible customer service.

I stopped in months ago to solve a serious issue. Went to several Advanced Auto stores and the problem continued. I stopped at this location and the Manager Haynes was amazing, fixed my problem he was very familiar with and I was back on the road in about 15mins. The Manager Haynes was outstanding and really appreciated his help because I will be better prepared if I or someone i know comes across this problem.

I visited this store July 29 to return un-used and unopened items per their return policy. The associate at 6435 Dobbin Rd, Columbia, MD, informed me to return the items to Carquest at 9301 Snowden River Pkwy, Columbia, MD, as they were originally picked up from that location. I was pressed for time and did not have the time investment to address this appropriately. However, as I researched Advance Auto return policy, I realized the associate and the supervisor provided inaccurate information and at worst simply treated me as an inconvenience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this store, and I will influence others not to patronize this store.

I came by on a Saturday morning to run a quick errand. Needed a replacement bulb for my car's blinker light. The very young man (Emilson?) at the register anticipated my questions and quickly looked up the part for me on his database. He quickly walked to the aisle and picked out the light bulb, went back to the register and rang up my purchase. I rarely experience such quick, competent service anymore anywhere. Thank you, Emilson!!

Had a sudden issue with a battery that wouldn't hold a charge. Advance jumped in and took care of me later than obligated to make sure I could get home. They tested the battery just to make sure it wasn't an underlying issue of bigger concern and I was not wasting my time and money. The staff gave me my battery options and a recommendation without any pressure. I was out in minutes instead of dealing with an issue roadside for hours.

Mike was friendly and helpful! Even though it only took a few minutes to replace my battery, one of the employees dragged out a chair from the back room to let me rest my injured knee. Sometimes this place gets busy — come at an odd time of day if you can help it.

This morning (DEC 26) I went to advance auto do to my battery failing. I worked with the Mgr. Jay and must say: his customer service is outstanding. He listened; checked out my battery and within five minutes; the tech (Andy) was replacing my battery. I can't thank Jay & Andy for their excellent service. While in the store I noticed and listened while Jay and the other associates helped customers and did everything they could while researching customer issues and ensuring they were getting the correct parts needed and offering assistance (if needed) during the replacement of faulty parts. Please ensure that Jay & Andy are noted for their outstanding service. If you ever have any questions or concerns Jay will be the first to help. Visited store to get replacement battery for keyless entry device and representative could not assist with opening the device because he was discussing with another worker " it is not long can't wait to get out of here." He just stood looking as I was attempting to open the device. Customer service will take my business to your competitors.

His expert knowledge and willingness to explain each step of the process made me feel confident and reassured. I highly recommend Nick for his top-notch service and expertise at Advance Auto Parts. I have been to many Auto Parts stores and never met anyone as nice and knowledgeable as Nick!

Had a great experience with battery replacement. Darryle was very respectful and knowledgeable. He was able to perform the battery test and advice the underlying issue and only solution was replacement.. he said you can get a new battery from whatever place you're comfortable with and when I asked for suggestions he explained me various products available in the market and what should I look for that matches my requirements. With this positive attitude, product explanation and customer service I was very comfortable to make a sale with Advance Auto Parts. Shout out to Darryle!

The manager on duty was amazing. Not only did he help us trade out our battery with almost zero fuss, but he also ran after us while we drove away because we didn't realize we left a breather elbow on the old battery. Absolutely phenomenal service

UPDATE: I just received a call from the general manager of the store and they said if I bring them a receipt, they will fully reimburse me for what it costs to get my car preprogrammed. The guy was very polite and totally understood the situation. Great customer service. I went to advanced yesterday to have my car battery replaced. It all started out smoothly, however, once the new battery was in, there was no power source coming to the car at all. A hour and a half and a text message from a friend later, I had them try holding my key fob near my push to start. and boom, car started. They said the key fob battery was dead and I paid to have it replaced. Now because during the 1 and a half hours that they couldn't figure out what was going on and they unplugged the car memory saving thing, my car now has to be reprogrammed to recognize my key. IF this was something I could do on my own, I would not mind and not be writing a review. However, after calling multiple shops and dealers, my car has to be taken to a dealer and it is going to cost me $185 to have my car and key reprogrammed, due to the screw up of the employees at Advanced. Considering we are weeks away from the holiday's, this is money I do not have to just be throwing around.

Mike was great! They only had two guys in the shop for a very busy Friday night. He was running all over the place making sure everyone was taken care of in a timely fashion. I was getting a battery test and replacement and he even managed to educate me on the whole process and why he was doing the things he was doing. Great experience and quick turn. Thanks for you hard work and teaching Mike!

It's a pretty good place. Nothing really special. Staff overall knows what they are doing and try to be helpful. I was not wowed by their service but I also didnt have a real issue with it either

I went here for a battery check and the technician was super helpful! He told me about how extreme changes in weather (like from hot to cold) and humidity (who knew?!) can have a negative effect on your battery. He said he was from the islands, and they saw it all the time then he talked to a mechanic who confirmed what he had found. He was kind to my children. And most of all, he was efficient at what he was doing. He told me (and showed me) the battery should read at 700 something and it was just over 400. I bought a new battery and he installed it in good time out in the hot sun with his mask on. I'm grateful for this experience and will continue to recommend and use this location.

I come here all the time. Great staff, service, and knowledge. Only issue I came across (but was fixed) was that I came here for some brake parts and they didn’t have them so they said they would order them and to come back next day. Well.... I had to come back four times to get the correct parts. If It wasn’t for the staff member Dre, with his unselfishness, determination, and going way beyond what his job description probably says to get me my correct parts. Definitely recommend with this outstanding customer service!
