I just bought new headlights for my car. Before I left, Shameaka double-checked to make sure I had the right ones. She then went a step further and told me to make sure the light I was replacing matched the light type and said if it didn't then I had pulled out the high beam. Sure enough, even armed with this knowledge, I still pulled out the high beam by mistake. But, her advice prevented me from putting the bulb in the wrong spot. Thanks, Shameaka!

I would like to commend and offer my thanks and compliments to Rick Martinez. When I stopped in today to inquire about an issue with a windshield wiper I had bought there, Rick came out to look at the issue, quickly offered options and solutions. He was knowledgeable and professional. I was in and out with the problem solved with 15 minutes. At a time when good customer service is no longer a standard (sadly) , Rick demonstrates the qualities of what great customer service is. If his bosses are reading this, you got a good one. Make him happy!

I visited this AutoZone on December 7th and had a brief misunderstanding with one of the staff at first, but he took the time to clarify everything and resolve the issue. He was professional and helpful, and I ended up getting exactly what I needed. I left as a happy customer and appreciate how the situation was handled. Thanks to the team.

Quick and easy drop in. Management is friendly. Only 2 stars downgrade due to incorrect part by the parts clerk. See below... Argh 😤 Unfortunately they sold me the wrong serpentine belt part by the parts person. The vehicle for look up was entered with one of the letters and number wrong. The year, make, (entered the wrong model). I didn't realize this until the party was brought to the mechanic! Then I was told it was the wrong part number and wrong length. Since this parts store was so far away it hard for me to return unless I can get a ride to the store. This has become

My dad is a former AutoZone manager and mechanic, now senior management at O’Reilly Auto Parts, so I know what proper customer service and technical skills should look like. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. The technician had to Google my Audi’s test codes from the OBD2 scan, gave me a card for an outside mechanic before finishing, and said they couldn’t replace my dead battery because they didn’t have the right computer system—claiming I could lose my car’s memory. We drove 30 minutes to O’Reilly in Glen Burnie, where they immediately replaced the battery using the correct backup tools and professional care. That store proved the job could easily be done; this AutoZone just didn’t want to do it or maybe didn’t know how. Disappointing experience here—thankful O’Reilly still upholds real standards of service.

A male employee (I assume to be a manager, he was older) mansplained to me my own car. He was all confused when I explained the issue, and how I had already solved it and no longer needed his help. He said I was wrong, then proceeded to do exactly what I said to solve the issue. He again told me that I was wrong and walked away. I was so angry and upset but I didn’t yell at him or anything, I was very polite because that’s how I was raised. I probably could have been more assertive in fact. It’s because I’m an 18 year old woman with dyed pink hair, he didn’t believe me when I said I had figured it out. I know the car industry is known to be incredibly misogynistic, but this is not excusable. As women we are taught to just step aside to let men get stuff done, to save their egos, when in reality it’s much more efficient to collaborate. This man didn’t see me as a person, he didn’t think I had an opinion worth hearing, so he didn’t bother listening to me at all. I was left feeling silenced and ignored, without a voice. These things may seem small, but we have to call them out, and i should have in the moment, but I didn’t, so I’m writing this now.

I drove all the way from Southern Maryland (45 min trek!) to come here because the staff are very helpful and resourceful with my automotive care needs! I came here to purchase a cabin and engine filter and Rick was very patient, professional and helpful with showing me how to properly install them on my vehicle! He even went above and beyond and showed me how to install windshield wiper blades that I bought elsewhere! Thank you Rick!

After a long day at work, my oil light suddenly came on and I was pretty far from home. It was extremely hot outside, and I was worried about driving with low oil. I stopped by AutoZone, and Kyle went above and beyond to help me out. Despite the heat, he came out to my car, checked the oil level, added more oil for me, and even took the time to show me how to check it myself for the future. He was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable—it really made a stressful situation so much easier. I’m super grateful for the awesome customer service and support. Thanks, Kyle and AutoZone!"

Ahmyr at autozone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me change my battery in 2 minutes and checked the starter and alternator with a smile and kindness. Very good employee deserves a raise!! This is a great location if you are in a hurry.

Store #6776 in Columbia MD. I stopped in at 8:20 pm on 2/8/2025 to recycle some oil. When I told one associate that I wanted to recycle oil she instructed me to follow the other associate to the back of the store. I stopped at the back of the store as the associate entered the rear of the store. The associate said I could follow him. I followed the associate and he motioned to the recycled oil container. I asked “I have to dump it myself? When did this become a thing?” The associate informed me that “it has always been a thing.” REALLY??? Customers in the back of the store? Since when does AutoZone allow customers in the back of the store? Since when do customers have to dump their own oil into the recycle bin? I have been an AutoZone customer for years and this is the first time I’ve been told to go to the back of the store among the inventory stored on shelves and dump my own oil!

Great experience today with Michael. Helped us pick out the right windshield wipers and informed us about the upgraded warranty, was very knowledgeable. Was out in the snow and installed them in like 30 seconds all while continuing to provide some good information for the next time. Felt like a classic All-American neighborhood Auto parts store. All because of Michael :)

Edgar was very helpful both times I came to the store. The first time he helped me with a free diagnosis and got me the correct replacement part. Then after I swapped the part in, he cleared the code and made sure everything was running fine. Excellent service!

My husband & I went to Auto Zone today because our car was doing Weird things with starting etc!! An associate who's name is Elk, came outside to test our battery and found Alot of acid corrosion build up on the battery posts and he cleaned them up and was able to test the battery which read that the battery was still good!!🙂 Then we bought a battery for the key to our car and one of the other guys took care of putting that in too, which can be very tricky to do- Especially for Seniors!!! I Definitely recommend this store and we're grateful for their help!!🙂

I ordered a battery for my Chevy online using their site application to pick one out. I was happy with the price and it was the correct battery. A gentleman helped me put it in my car and was very kind. I will come here again.
