It's a great variety of pieces from furniture to jewelry, but I wish these flea markets and thrift stores would price accordingly, little to pricey for a "flea market" most places receive there inventory for free, so why ask so much for items.?
Beautiful shop, lots of great items at what I would consider reasonable prices. Some run off the mill antiques and some uncommon unique items. Overall just a great place to poke around, especially on a cold windy Maine afternoon.
All I can say is if you don't want to purchase the whole store, than the Goodwill is more for you. If you buy nothing, you'll at the least have a fantastic adventure in VINTAGE and antique items. I live in thereorices are fair for the most part and it's huge,but they don't stuff it full. You can actually breath. Ty. 5 stars for this lovely gem. Cami-Ann

I love to come here to explore! I don’t usually purchase since a lot of items are pretty overpriced. I’ve seen finds of similar uniqueness at the goodwill by the pound in Gorham. But there are definitely some mint condition unique/beautiful pieces.
We found Flea-for-All to be a wonderfully curated, thoughtfully laid out vintage store with many highly desirable pieces. Mid-century Modern seemed to be the theme of the hour. We would highly recommend getting there right when they open as the best pieces go quickly. The owners were extraordinarily helpful and aided us in loading our treasure into our vehicle. 10/10 would recommend.
This is a nice space with quite an assortment of hand-me-downs and "vintage" items. It's a great place for browsing and window shopping, and you never know what you'll find. There are always nice pics of furniture, clothing, knick-knacks, and even vinyl records. Hours are limited (For & Sat only?) and parking can be difficult because it's right on Congress St. in downtown Portland.
Flea-for-all is a very special store. My partner and I are avid thrifters and vintage collectors and have been coming here for the last few years. I have never found a vintage store so beautifully curated and who values the history behind their items so much. The prices are not going to be what you find at a good-will necessarily, but the items are unique, in great condition, and well worth their price. Just like any thrifting or vintage shopping experience you may not find something every time, but over the years we’ve brought home so many cherished pieces of furniture and Knick knacks including our BEAUTIFUL blue kitchen table originally from an elementary school in Maine - flea-for-all’s items will be in our homes forever. The owners are amazing people who care so much about their work and what they’re providing. Not to mention if you follow them on Instagram, they’re fierce advocates for local business, environmentalism, and social justice. Thank you flea-for-all for this unique space! We’re so grateful for this store <3
The shop is clean and spacious and the prices are reasonable. In some ways it’s almost too spacious I would have preferred for a larger stock selection for the amount of empty space available.
Revised: One of the store owners promptly responded to my review explaining that the reduced inventory is the result of lots of sales on Friday. That is a fair point, that I was unaware of not being from this area.
Awesome curated collection of mid-century furniture and artifacts. This place is amazing if mid-century is your bag, baby! We have a cool house from 1961 that is totally unspoiled and period. We have a bunch of furniture and stuff from here. It's not super cheap, but very reasonably priced. You don't have to work about being ripped off. Added bonus: she is a huge community supporter and advocate. Flea-for-All is one of the reasons that Portland is so cool!?
By far, this is my most favorite antique/vintage store. Its affordable and well curated and there’s new inventory every Friday. Did I mention the items are affordable? Its an amazing selection from clothing to art. Im really glad I found this store while travelling!
Love the flea! We've gotten a variety of things for our house here - always fun to just look around, too. I really appreciate that they've been taking the pandemic seriously and are making customers feel safe!
Very unique items, priced for the rich. It's good for finding rare one of a kind pieces. However 80% is Goodwill type items. You really have to hunt for the treasures. Even then most things are overvalued. It is a very large store with just about everything you would look for. Don't miss this store, and don't forget your wallet!
Awesome shop with a variety of vintage items and prices. Overall the prices are very reasonable, for example a “vintage” Woolworth jacket for $35. Hard to beat a quality jacket still in good shape especially when considering they’re almost 3 times that new.
Great place to spend an hour or so exploring on the weekends. Much larger than I expected and very diverse offerings. We loved the selection of records, vintage clothing, and prints. It's a good thing we were traveling by plane - otherwise I would have walked out with lots and lots of goodies!
great place to stop in when your walking around portland. they particularly specialize in mid century modern so great place to go to get your on trend antiques. not the cheapest but certainly a fun place to explore.
I always enjoy stopping here when I have some free time on the weekends. The prices are generally a bit high for my budget, but I get really cool ideas from the stuff, and every once in a while I'll find an affordable really nifty thing. Great record selection in the back as well, if that's your thing.
The Flea is my favorite store for vintage finds. It has a beautifully curated selection showcased in a space that is welcoming and homey. Prices are pretty much unbeatable and the owners are a pleasure doing business with. Definitely worth the trip from out of town. This place doesn't disappoint!
