I’ve been taking my cars to Joe for years now His the best technician I’ve ever been to hands down Most mechanics will make you wait for weeks to even look at your car! Joe takes your car in ASAP and gets the Job done. I see mostly positive reviews for his company with some negative The negative ones are completely false Joe goes far a behind helping people with there cars and he is specialized in Mercedes-Benz and BMW repair, considering the most difficult cars to work on this makes him a great technician itself. He also does body work too, which not too many shops do both major repair and body work. Very honest too when he diagnosis a car. Took my girlfriends car which had bad brakes and repaired the front roters and brakes saying the back ones where still good. Now a dishonest mechanic Would tell you, you need to repair all four and that’s not Joe‘s character. I would never take my car anywhere else because when you’re dealing with Joe you’re in good hands.

Lucky I found this place! Brought my car here because the rocker panels were rusted through. They evidently care a great deal about the quality of their work and they did a great job making everything like new (not just cheaply patching it up). Fixed the rust on my doors and floors as well. Even kind enough to offer me a ride after I dropped my car off. They did ask for full payment up front, which I find unusual, but I haven't had any issues with the work. When it turned out the back brakes needed to be replaced to pass inspection, they took care of it the same day. Thank you!

I really want to be able to recommend this place, because Joseph (owner) seems like a genuinely nice guy. However, my experience was not good. They charged top dollar while making mistakes and hiding them. I brought a car in with a rattle in the underside. They suggested replacing the resonator and midpipe. A too-long length of midpipe was installed, and the error was clear, since it could no longer contact the hanging brackets, but instead of re-ordering the correct part and re-doing the work, they hid the error. They forced it to connect with the muffler by heating part of the muffler pipe and bending it, and I did not find all this until I replaced the muffler a year later. (And of course, the new muffler had to be similarly mangled in order to fit the pipe.) The too-long midpipe hung very low from the undercarriage, so I had another garage weld on a new hanging bracket to help brace it. And, after all this, the rattle persisted, so finally I tracked it down to a loose heat shield and fixed it myself with a $2 hose clamp. I did not pursue a resolution with Joseph. Perhaps he would have made things right. But I did not want to go through another round with this garage. I am a repairer myself. When something goes wrong, and it's your fault (or the fault of an employee), it's important to fix it correctly and disclose this to the client, even if it's uncomfortable or costs you money. That is part of the cost of running an honest business.

Pd 6,200 for a vehicle that was posted and said to be perfect condition with a brand new sticker. Less then a mile from the shop check engine light clicked on with a timing chain code and cat O2 sensors. Took it to my mechanic and found it failed for a sticker for many reasons rockers, tires, headlights, battery not mounted, wipers, windshield, exhaust, evap sensor, and much more.. took it back to him and called inspection police. He did fix a few items and told me that he would hold my money for 3 weeks and buy the vehicle back if I could get the title back which he’s now denying. Told investigators he would make things right with me but refused to answer any of my messages. When I finally reached him by phone he said he couldn’t help me because I involved the police and that he would be shutting down his business “guilty conscience maybe” then threatened that if I take him to court I would be paying his court fees because he would win! I would never recommend anyone go here especially not to buy anything from him with everything he tried to hide.

This amazing place was recommended by a friend from work, and I felt so blessed by bringing my car here and getting it fixed. I took it to a few other places at first, and I was told it couldn't be fixed, to "get a new car," even. But Joseph's Auto Care LLC final stop was it. Great experience at Auto Care with Joseph. I called around many places and they were booking out for weeks. Joseph was able to fit me in same day after hearing about my vehicle and knowing it was unsafe to drive. He was professional, timely and honest. Would highly recommend!

At 56 years old I've had many cars and both good and bad mechanics. Joseph and his team were great! I live in PA and bought a used truck in ME. I bought used running boards, a bed cover (both of which were wrong size). Joseph made them both work. The tailgate would not open, he fixed that but told me the lock was not working. I said don't worry, I won't need the lock. When I picked it up it was fixed. They even stayed open late on a Friday to finish all of the work. Can't recommend him enough!

Exemplary service! Our usual mechanic couldn't schedule us in for over a month so I called a couple garages and despite having a busy schedule, Joseph immediately squeezed us in and had the job done in under a week while keeping me updated the entire time! Incredibly reasonable prices and no extra charge for prioritizing our vehicle. I absolutely recommend Auto Care and will again call upon his expertise the next time we require repairs.

I have get my car repaired twice here, one for winshield replacement and the other for bumper change. Every time Joseph helped me a lot and he gave me a fair price compared to other auto shops. That is why I want to continue to get my car repaired here.

Did some great work on my car at a very reasonable price. Fixed another mechanics damage to a wheel and did some great bodywork at a good price as well. It ended up being more than the original estimate and he was willing to work with me on price. Didn't do junk bondo work either, cut a piece of steel, welded it, and matched factory paint on the underneath. Highly recommended

I highly recommend this shop! I had a wonderful experience, and I never thought I would say that about having to deal with car repairs! Joseph, the owner, is such a genuine person— he was so nice to give me a ride back-and-forth home and to the shop when I dropped my car off and had to pick it up! The mechanics there do a wonderful job & the cost I thought was very reasonable. I had a starter replaced, headlight rewired & an inspection done at the shop. The quality work was done quickly and it was so convenient.

Joseph saved our Christmas week! We had a last-minute car issue and no one could take us all week but when I called Auto Care, he said come on by. He gave me a ride home, and called an hour and a half later to let me know the repair was done. He even picked me up at home!! He did a great job, and his prices were very fair. I bought a 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis in Falmouth. It was very clean on the outside so I got it. I had a crown Vic and they are very strong cars that last a long time. I went to get it inspected at Paulin tire and they said it had a number of problems. Took the car to Kars Service. They told me junk the car. I was disappointed. It was very clean with almost no rust. I called Joe he looked at the car said all the problems the first two guys said but he said he would fix the car because it was a good car. He did. That was a couple months ago. I’ve been now running car as my daily driving and have not had any problems. I looked at the job he did on the car lift one day. Joe did a excellent job. That car has 137,000 on it. A 4.6 liter Ford easily can last up to 400,000 miles. I will have this car easily for 10 years all because of Joe. I will never take the car anywhere else. He is the best Mechanic in Portland.

Joseph is very professional and delivers on his promises. I had some bumper damage that needed to be fixed and he went above and beyond matching paint and making the damage disappear. I know he’s not a body shop but if you have a bit of damage in need of repair I would recommend consulting him. I will certainly go to him for mechanical work in the future.
