Very nice selection of old doors. Mainly doors. But they were so beautiful. They stripped old paint there and sand them. If you are looking for old door parts and doors then this is your place!!

Great place to find that traditional Nola look for that special project. I can wonder around in here for hours.

He was a fair buyer as far as my business dealings with them he appeared to have a good happy client base and a large custom inventory of old cypress doors fireplace mantals and what not.

Very good door selection everything is stripped and ready to go on your house. Sean. is a great guy.

I brought in five old wooden windows and asked them to be stripped. After two weeks, they were ready and now I am able to turn them into wonderful mirrors for my nieces. Great and unique place!

The Bank is great for Authenticate Wood doors. New or Old home builders and contractors will appreciate this place.

The perfect place for a rambling browse of historical architectural details, from doors to hardware. Prices are right. The high side but management does negotiate offers.

Bank’s Architectural Antiques is an absolute treasure trove of vintage doors, windows and accessories for restoration of old buildings. I could not believe the amount or scope of things these guys have in their warehouses. They can also repair and resize doors, shutters and windows to fit your needs. We have used them twice on restoration projects and were delighted both times. L

A very cool space, especially for homeowners/builders who are upgrading their place. Yesterday we hey had an even with food, live music and an arts market. It was fun!

Kelly and her family do a great job, you can find so many gems here. The best thing we ever got was this fireplace mantel and repurposed it for our home that does not have a fireplace.

Cool ace to even just look arpund. Tons of old doors, door hardware and some chandeliers. If in need of some specific historical material probably best place I have seen. They can restore the wood products too, for a price

This place is amazing!!! Restored hardware, windows, doors, etc. The owners are great people and were open to chatting about their work. I cannot even begin to describe the hard-to-find hardware, chandeliers, louvered shutters, etc. that are here. If you are restoring an historic home or just adding some character to a modern home, this is the place to come in NOLA!

A real diamond in the rough. Not in the greatest neighborhood, and no real parking but worth the trip. It has a great selection of difficult to find salvage pieces. From hardware to doors, mantels to Windows it's got everything. Some items have been partially restored, some are in their original state. The staff is helpful and approachable.

I can't say enough about how cool this place is and how much selection they have but BEWARE of the sanding service. We were really happy with the doors we selected and mostly satisfied with the price. That said I'm writing this to those who may use their service to strip and square the doors. We got an old pair of french doors and loved the charm. We paid the extra money to have them sand and they did such a good job that it looked almost new.... which is not what we were going there to purchase. My biggest complaint is that when they went to square them they added a piece of wood to the sides which looks NOTHING like the original wood. And we were planning to keep them natural! :( Very disappointed in that aspect of it so think carefully before you spend the extra $. Also, if they were to break glass in process etc then that's on you too so we heard. You can see piece of wood added in pictures. Update: so despite having loved the way they originally looked my wife couldn't live with the changes. We called them back and they were happy to work with us. They let us to exchange them for another set. This time we took them home as is and love them...see recent picture. Updating rating based on good customer service

So many cool doors!!!! We came all the way from Florida with our friends to find some unique doors for their upcoming project and we weren't disappointed. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff that shared to origins of each set of doors we inquired about.

Four staff members were walking around the place without masks, despite a sign on the entrance saying they must be worn inside — this sets a bad example AND puts customers in danger. Do better.

Very helpful staff. Amazing finds. I go here every time I come to town. It’s so neat to look around and see all the history.

This place has vastly improved its customer service over the past few years. It is the mecca of historic windows, doors, and shutters in New Orleans. They also offer "dipping and stripping" services for pieces that you bring-in.

Wear your old clothes and be ready to be amazed. Great place to visit, whether you need anything or not. Allow sufficient time to peruse all the wonderful items.

The Bank has been Awsome! I am building a house and we had a bunch of old doors that we have been collecting for a while. We found a few Beautiful doors ready to go at the bank. But we had trouble finding someone to help with the old doors we have collected elsewhere. Our contractor AMG contractors in Covington (that is Awsome as well) told us to ask the bank, that we had already dealt with ,that we didn’t know would do our existing old door restoration. We talked to Shawn and brought him 6 of our old doors that needed total restoration. They took our doors and totally restored them, put trim in for glass, put trim in for sliding doors, replaced old ornaments that I didn’t expect to be replaced for the very reasonable price quoted. And did it all in a time frame that I didn’t expect from a custom shop! All I want to say is thanks a million to Shawn and is crew for a great job , and a very reasonable price, with great service! Thanks David Burlett

The antique items are mostly damaged & overpriced. The doors are organized fairly well & it’s neat that they offer a service to fill in the holes. Nice if you want a rustic look or want to paint it. But the base price for these very imperfect doors should be sufficient for basic repair, and they will not negotiate. One staff person is rude. They have the largest door inventory, so not many other options if you’re in the market for an old door & don’t want to travel the state.

First time I went In they charged me what I thought was a fair price. Two days later I went back and the charged me 5 times the amount for the same exact wood. Such a rip off. Was asking 40 dollars for one square foot of old wood: please go to green project or anywhere else and save yourself a lot of money.

Love this place. It's got friendly staff and an ever changing stock of cool old bldg materials. If you're trying to restore an old nola home, stop here first. They're usually cheaper than Riccas

If you are looking to restore an old home or just interested in what you can make with old New Orleans architectural pieces, this is the place to check out. Nicely organized and most pieces have been cleaned up quite a bit. They even offer in house refinishing. Great place.
