I had such a great experience with this towing company! They arrived quickly, were professional, and made a stressful situation so much easier. The driver was friendly, careful with my vehicle, and explained everything clearly. Pricing was fair and honest, with no hidden fees. I really appreciated how smooth and stress-free they made the whole process. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable towing services!

I needed to have my truck towed from a parking garage to a mechanic. Triple A set me up with Green acres. The parking garage clearance was very low so the truck could not get in. However, the driver figured out a way for him and I to get the truck out. He was very hard-working, friendly and nice. Long story short we were able to get the truck out of the garage and towed to the mechanic. Green Acres was very prompt and courteous, and I highly recommend them. My driver was awesome.

Shawn attempted to Tow my vehicle illegally. Im. Handicap and have a Handicap ♿️ tag. He did not see the Handicap sticker initially. After pointing 👉 to the sticker showing him he became very irritated. " Shawn" demanded that I show him my drivers license, he stated I don't look Handicap and asked what was my disability. I felt violated. I had to disclose my personal business to him because I was in fear, I felt bullied. Shawn stated because i have a Alabama tag i cant park in Handicapped parking spot because im not a resident of LA. I had to call 911 for help, after getting physically sick because of the stress caused by SHAWN. I spend the remainder of my night and morning at the Local ER. SHAWN IS A LIABILITY AND WILL CAUSE THIS COMPANY TO LOOSE ALOT OF REVENUE. I've filed a claim immediately for the damages caused by Shawn, and will pursue litigation until this is resolved. Drivers need to be trained!!!! And needs to follow the Law!! Stop being a Bully, stop taking advantage of the Handicap. Disabled citizens have rights.

I have a boyfriend that resides at The Muses Apartments. I would visit him often by lyft before purchasing my car. I recently purchased my car 10/19/2024 Saturday at Honda Slidell. The Muses leasing office is closed on the weekends, Monday morning my boyfriend planned to register my vehicle with the leasing office. Sunday morning 10/20/2024 at 12:45am, I parked my car in the parking lot of The Muses. Entering by my boyfriend’s key fob. By 2:03am my cars gps shows it was removed from the premises. I only knew where my vehicle was because of my gps! Thank God! It took $285 for my property to leave that tow lot. It’s ridiculous how on a Sunday morning at 2:03am with no warning/ticket they tow your vehicle damn near across the city (The Muses is located Uptown) this tow lot is all the way in the east! This was my vehicles first time ever being parked on Muses property! I live in Slidell and work in Slidell. I’ll be damned if I be stranded in New Orleans because a scamming third party tow truck agency wants to rob me as a first time visitor. I can’t believe that I’m charged almost $300 when my car wasn’t parked no longer than 1 hour and 18 min and is clearly a newly brought vehicle! This whole situation feels downright wrong and sketchy. If you’re planning to stay/park at The Muses Apartments beware of Green Acres Towing they scouting for a quick pay day. I got my property back and look forward to never dealing with BRAD (management) I’m assuming and this low budget tow lot again. When I got back to the Muses (the same day) I just parked along side Felicity St. My car will be registered by Monday and I plan to install my vehicle cameras by the end of this week. Blessings.

Staff was very professional and I was treated with respect. If I ever need a tow I will call them again.

Not shocking that this company has so many negative reviews, no one wants a tow and no one that gets towed is going to be happy. BUT… I called for a tow when my truck broke down. From the office staff to the after hours on call employee to the driver - every person was professional and courteous. They safely got me and my truck out from where I was stuck in a sketchy area and safely back to my home. The driver was nothing short of kind and willing to get my truck up the driveway where I would be able to make the necessary repairs. So five stars from me, couldn’t be happier. While I hope to not need their service again, I would call them without hesitation if the need ever arises. Their pricing was extremely competitive vs other tow companies that quoted me. All around great experience.

Parked in smoothie king to get smoothie and drop my friend off. after getting my smoothie king the tow driver held my car hostage and mugged me for $140. I guess he doesn't understand behavior like this is going to get their contract terminated. And a reputation of towing customers from your business is going to severely limit future contracts. I have all the receipts

This place deserves no stars! HORRIBLE! My handicap sticker must’ve fallen while I was parked in the handicap spot. I called to tell them it’s in the car, they told me they would release it once I prove it. I got there to get my car, they were worried about my registration. I fixed my registration, got back and they told me I need to pay $195 for parking in the handicap spot and my boyfriend was not allowed to come in, he locked me in the yard. I’m explaining that was not told to me, as I’m talking…he gets defensive and rude and closes the window on me. Now I’m locked in their lot with no one for TWO hours, no communication! Gate locked and windows closed. My family and my baby on the other side trying to help me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! VERY!

Omg! This place just held my daughter hostage, they picked her car up saying the handicap card was not present. She called them and they told her if she can show the card in the car they will let her go. When she got there, they told her she have to pay because her registration was not updated(which is a police matter). That was not why they towed her car. They locked her in the gate with another truck blocking the closed gate for 2 hours. My daughter is having a panic attack and we had to call the ambulance. They are very rude and closed off all communication with her. Her 9 month old baby was outside the gate. This is horrible.

Horrible Horrible company extremely rude . I would not recommend them at all . They towed our car and never brought it to us . Our car was damaged as a result of being towed improperly. it took us 46 hours to make it back to Chicago. I’m never visiting New Orleans ever again .

I would give 0 star if I could. The driver Marcus was very unprofessional and money hungry. Approaching my car I was immediately threatened with getting beat up because of his last encounter. These people are the sun of the earth.. true oppressors

Sketchy towing company that asks for $150 cash/cashapp on the side or threats you with towing your car. They are clearly thirsty for money. This company’s drivers will call the cops on you if you refuse to give them the amount requested to “intimidate” you. Besides that, they’ll tow your car and once you pick it up from the towing center/yard they’ll request for only cash payments or cashapp as mentioned before. For anyone wondering, they charge $27 for parking per day and will add a day on top of whatever payment you owe them. It cost me $293 to get my car back within 1.5 days. Not sure how, but it is an absolute scam, and apparently the state is ok with this fraudulent activities. Be advised they only let the car owner in without any company. Make sure to record the conversation or the place once you go in because they will change their mind and love playing around with numbers. By the way, they do have atm and credit card machines inside, so if you don’t have enough cash in hand, ask to go inside to withdraw, for some reason they love when people have to leave and come back later for an upcharge without advising about the atms. Do not cashapp any of their shady/rude employees. They also scratched my rims during the towing process.

They towed my friend’s car even though the sign is nearly invisible. Even though they were open and answered the phone, the phone operator was INCREDIBLY rude. Extremely unprofessional and quite frankly absurd. No reason to be that abrasive. My friend also has a CPA exam at 8am and cannot get her car even though the place is still towing right now. Money-hungry, rude, and care more about harmless parking than human beings.

Went to bring my friend covid meds and within minutes I was towed for “parking violations” that atleast 20 other cars were doing. They told me I couldn’t get my car that day and the charged me 280 on a car they had for less than 12 hours. Worst part is that they messed up my radiator. Total of 2500 in costs over covid meds

The worst experience I ever had with a tow truck company the reason of one star because I felt like I was targeted by this particular company while only staying in apartments for three months Green acres decided they wanted to tow my truck due to illegal parking but the unprofessional part was When I rode around the apartments, multiple cars was making the same parking violations and my car was the only car that was towed from out of the apartment. Not only on top of that but you have to wait until after 12 o’clock to retrieve your car. Asked me if I feel like my vehicle was targeted. Yes I do. I feel like Green acres. Need to show a little more profession and not have you’re a pick and choose on who car they want to tow PS Green acres if you have six cars making the same violation don’t just to one of them till all of them that is the difference

Run by a bunch of disorganized, and unintelligent people. They refused to listen to us when we directly pointed out the car we needed to see. The man who “helped” us didn’t seem to know the first thing about his job. Highly recommend you go anywhere else if you want to speak with anyone who has a grasp on anything further than their basic colors.

I had my vehicle towed by this company. I called to recover my vehicle because there was medication in a cooler that needs to be refrigerated. They would not let me recover my vehicle despite the fact it had only been 10-15 min since the tow and the sign was completely covered with ivy so there was no way for me to know not to park there. The phone operator was beyond rude.

MY car was towed about 2 in the morning. It was apparently parked in an handicap parking spot which is clear to not be visible to visitors... the guy had to just really be looking to make money to just see the light painting of the handicapped sign... My car haven't been in the impound for more than 6 hours and they charge me a huge fee of $197. Getting towed in the french quarters is $100 but i was towed in New Orleans east apartment complex.. The total is a extreme rip off!!! I was basically charged for 2-3 days!!!REMIND YOU THEY ONLY TAKE CASH NO CREDIT OR DEBIT PAYMENTS WHICH IS THEIR WAY OF NOT HAVING THE CITY TRACK THEIR FUNDS.. please i beg you do not let these people keep scamming us poor people.... im a very influential person so i will definitely make a public post about this to let people know to make better decisions with not choosing this towing service... the prices is unreasonable and it sounds like they trying to pocket more money for themselves... please be safe people because this city is taking advantage... i have no choice but to get my car... but that public post will spread more light..

Update: They agreed to pay the insurance estimate. I'm better with them. They were dishonest at first with me but complied with the insurance company. Terrible Dishonest people. The guy loaded my car onto the truck. My bumper was attached and I had no earthly idea this man would damage my car and lie about it. I'm filing a report and making sure the correct company is addressed.

Overall, quite friendly and professional. Only down side was the time it took for the driver to get to me which took over an hour and a half when I called first thing when they opened for 8 am although their website said they open 24/7. The tow truck driver name William was overall quite helpful and assisted with my disabled vehicle which he had taken his time to talk with me about the issue I was having with my vehicle. Overall rating for William would be a five stars out of five. I would consider utilizing their services in the future if needed.

I called over an hour for assistance that they handle for my apartment complex. I was told the driver was on the way but after an hour no one was here or on the way. I was told I will get a call right back with where the tow truck driver was but did not. I called back again after 25 to 30 minutes and could not get through on the line that I was calling before. Googled another number for the company and someone answered and she stated the manager was by herself and she was on the other line with someone which is understandable. I live in a complex, I am trying to get my mom’s medicine but can’t leave because someone blocked me in. Unfortunately this company arrives to tow cars randomly but not when you really need assistance.

Shady towing company that tows in early morning hrs.on private property. My mother's car was legally park in the apt parking lot and was towed at 1 in the morning. We went to retrieve her car and got hit with $180 extra fees on top of the $107 advertise on their sign and it's a ALL Cash business no credit or debit cards accepted which is not on their sign.

I called for a motorcycle tow on Aug 2 and was quoted and charged $133.00 and was told they would arrive within 2 hours. Approximately 1 hour later later and was told that it was a new person on the phone that wrongly quoted me $133.00 and that motorcycle towing started at $250. I stated that I had already been charged $133 and I was waiting to be towed, the person on the phone said it could not be done at that price and it would be $250.00. I would have expected they honor their quoted price since I had already made payment and been waiting for 1 hour already. I strongly suggest anyone to not give their towing business to such a poorly run business in the future. I then found Moon's Towing in Metairie which charged $147.15 which arrived in 25 minutes and the tow driver was friendly, courteous and efficient. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH GREEN ACRES I KNOW I NEVER WILL. KERRY T.

The absolute THE WORST EVER… I have had a run-in with this company once before and had to cancel the tow that time because they were expected to come within two hours and it was four hours later that they attempted to come and pick up my vehicle; I canceled and told them to kick rocks. December 2020, on this particular occasion, they were dispatched to tow my car from downtown New Orleans; unbeknownst to me, until the tow truck was dispatched to render aid, I was clueless that this was the company I warded off months ago. For this tow, JUST like the last time, they once again were well outside of the parameters of the expected arrival time. And when they did reach me, well outside their anticipated arrival time, the gentleman had a rotten attitude and seemed to be upset because I called the dispatcher to inquire about their whereabouts. Because of the vulnerable position I was in, I allowed the tow, took many pictures of the condition of my vehicle and allowed the tow. As I write this review, I have solemnly promised myself to NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, did I say EVER, EVER use this tow company again.

My car was unrightfully towed by one of their very very rude drivers. He was hesitant to tell me even where he was taking my car. I felt like he was trying to steal it. He tried to coerce me out of an outrageous amount of money, which also made the situation very suspicious . It only gets worse from here. My experience trying to get my car out of their yard was traumatic. The employee made me very uncomfortable, a prime example of harassment. They were unprofessional and impatient. I pray for anyone that has to deal with them. Never go alone!! My car has also not worked properly since. It was only there for one night and would not start the next morning.

Do not use the company they will give you an eta an not call or update you when they are running an hour late but they made sure to take their payment out of my account immediately. This is embarrassing to use a company this unprofessional when u call the dispatcher she doesn’t apologize she raises her voice not making the situation any better. Horribly horrible. Little do they know we own a lot with over 10k people following our page this will be posted. Sad how local companies run their businesses but A Jefferson parish tow company came for the other car 2 hours ago. Smh. Worse services I’ve ever experienced. Very low life and unprofessionally run business. The tow truck driver (name of Van) was incredibly aggressive and went so far as to threaten me with pipe he using to secure my car, stating that "mardi gras just got done bro, I've been stabbed and hit three times in the head, get the f*** out of my face if you know what's good for you." I explained this to the owner, Brad Derbes, who was in denial about the entire ordeal stating "I just can't believe that any of our employees would do that" until I told him there was a witness and that the entire event was on the parking lot security camera. Up to that point every time I told him about something that happened he responded with "yeah but do you have proof." Yes Brad, I do. I told him about the number of bad reviews his company was receiving and he pretended to be in shock, until I recently saw that he had been answering these reviews and trying to make excuses and lie about how his company does business. If you are a business thinking about contracting them I would STRONGLY SUGGEST STAYING AWAY AND CHOOSING ANOTHER COMPANY. These are some of the worst people I have ever met who are incredibly shady, deceitful, and aggressive in normal circumstances. Take a look at the response from the "owner" listed below. Not only can he not spell or write in complete sentences, but is claiming to have caught me in lies. Not once have I ever mentioned that I was not parked appropriately, I was simply making a legitimate statement on the lack of professionalism from the employees and company as a whole. There are several complaints from other individuals below that speak to this, which therein bolsters the fact that this is how they operate. It seems to be an issue that is happening over and over again with the owner being in denial and more or less lacking the professionalism and accountability to operate a service business. I'd like to know which lies I was caught in when I called to complain and ask where my vehicle was being towed? Feel free to post the link to the video you supposedly watched, so that the public can see just how "professional" your pipe wielding foul mouthed employee acted. Also, Brad told me he was the owner when I picked up my vehicle, so that is 100% on him, and if you want to discuss lying look no further than your own organization. Again, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, they are liars. The owner will try tell you what happened and put words in your mouth when in fact he was not present on the scene, so as to protect himself from any liability for which he is clearly responsible for. You ought to be ashamed of yourself Mr. Fassbender, this truly is a disservice to the people of New Orleans.
