Drove in with a noise complaint. Quoted a lot of work. After work was completed I drove off with the same noise complaint. Best part it was the brakes making the noise. Beware!

Midas on East New Circle road has very poor management, that guy Joe, behind the desk, had an excuse for everything, whether it made sense or not, I waited 30 minutes alone while he sat at his desk playing games on his personal device, and eating non stop. At the very least there is a missed coaching opportunity, he lacked Customer Service skills, communication, transparency, hospitality. When I asked about progress as far as diagnosis, he was still eating and chewing peanuts in my face while speaking. The mechanics stayed busy, seemingly productive and friendly. However, due to my experience with said manager, I will never take my car there again or recommend this place, and also hope no one else does, the fact that they allow such behavior screams volumes as to the business as whole. By the time he did get to me I had brake vibration concerns and he came back to tell me he was some inspector in another state and had the position to pull my car off the road he said also never addressed my brakes he said they was fine but I know it's not common for my whole car to shake and was very adamant to sell me new shocks and tires my tires were 6 months old went to tire discounters and they said if I would of went any longer I would of had safety problems the manager is very unprofessional and he should not be running a shop that handles people's life's every day, unacceptable.

I had 3000 worth of work done to my car brakes, rotors and everything else you can think of that has to do with the way the car rides! And I also had a gas leak and they patched it up I’ve had to go bk two times bc my car keeps leaking gas and my brakes are rubbing so I call Jeff the third time and he apologized and told me he is going to replace my gas tank for no cost and was extra nice I appreciate the way he treated me and took responsibility and is fixing the problems!! Thank you for fixing the problem and not just putting a band aid on it 😀

Took my car in for an oil change; missing engine cover, screws, bolts, and my oil wasn't changed. When i called asking for my parts that guy stated before I finished speaking "that he fired everyone"... It is simple to me i took my car in for a basic oil change and they don't change it and I am missing parts. they were the only ones under my hood.

BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took my 2019 Sliverado High Country with black custom rims to have the brakes fixed and I thought all was good until a few days later I was like let me check to see if everything is good and come to find out they had somehow put deep thread marks on the rim and then I was told by the store manager that it did not happen here and that it looks like a buffer did it but you can clearly see that it was threads from a bolt and these rims were in perfect condition before going there. So then I decided to contact corporate and they made it sound like more was going to happen and they took all my info but for what. The same person called me the next day and told me that he was sorry but they arent going to do anything. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Howdy🤠! Hadn’t been here for a few years, but I purchased a car recently and needed to have it inspected, to drive it professionally. I went by Clark’’s Automotive. Side note. After Steve and Kim Stoll retired and closed Lexington Autoworks. I was lost. (I had quirky, Mazda based Fords for years) and the lady at the counter informed me that this Midas location did a thorough and affordable inspection. So, I headed that way. Was so fortunate to meet Joe, who wisely realized my need and addressed it immediately. The inspection was completed promptly, and I passed. It’s been some hard work getting back in the Lexington car game, but at this Midas, I think I might be getting back to my old self. Thanks, guys, wish you all the best!😄🇺🇸

The Shop manager called me to tell me he had tires to put on my jeep that had been towed to them on 4th of july night. $790 tires. Then when i told him i was broke it was $380 and after I said I was really broke it was 300. I know they were different tires with dif ratings but it rubbed me the wrong way. I was a shop manager / service writer in a automotive and towing business for years. I did a good/better/best approach unless I knew the customer. Cause when you say you can fix it for 800 then it drops by more then half you kind of look like a scum bag. They did top off the oil and quote me out the tie rod ends that needed replaced. Which was super nice. Annnnd Picked me up from the hotel so I didn't have to pay another uber. Overall service was great but defiantly need to work on the sell. The techs that worked on the car were super nice and the guy who picked me up at the hotel to come pick my car up was a super chill guy.

Let me preface this with important background info, there was a snowstorm a few days ago and the roads are somewhat cleared but it's dangerous to be out in certain areas. It's very slippery, icy, and snowy. I am super bummed to be writing this. I called this location about 420, 430 knowing full well that they closed at 6. I explained to them that I had a donut on my car and that I needed a repair and asked for the cost and about how long it would take. The guy was super nice about it. He gave me all the information I needed and then I said I'm not sure if I'm gonna come in but I'll try to get there by 5:15 or between 515 and 520 if I'm able to come in he said "OK that's fine. We'll play it by ear. No problem. We're open till six." I call at 5:25 letting them know I'm about five minutes away. It just rings. I call again no answer. I figured maybe they're working on a car. I'm not sure so I get there and my GPS has me go into the parking lot of the car dealership directly next to it. I called them again to let them know I was just having to make a U-turn and again I am really trying to be communicative with this place. I make a U-turn and then get there and the parking lot has not been plowed which is fine. It's snowy, it's understandable. The bays all have cars in them but it's very dark. I go up to the window and it is now 535 Ish and even though the open sign is still lit, the inside is dark; there is nobody there at all. I have come out in snowy weather with a donut on my car because I need my tire repaired, with two children, and the guy told me come on down no problem. I'm really disappointed with the service. I was able to get a repair at the Tire Discounters on Winchester rd a few miles away. With 20 mins to spare until they closed. I'm about to go write a review for them. Go there instead of here!!!!

Jordan is the best shop manager I've run into in at least ten years now. Great communication about what has to be done and what can wait. Terrific pricing and skilled stafff

Went to get a slow leak checked out in my tire and service was amazing! Jordan got me in early before my appointment and was on top of making sure I was taken care of. Very happy with my experience and highly recommend this Midas location!

I'm very disappointed with everything with midas. I needed a transmission, and instead of simply referring me to someone else who knows what they're doing. They just tried to charge my warranty company 4,000 dollars more which they refuse to pay that amount but midas claim they had to get their supplies some company blah blah but I ened up taking my car someone which actually got a new transmission from the actual Nissan parts and took less then a week to get my car back and was 6,000 less than what midas was trying to charge me.

I took the wheels off my utility trailer up there to get new tires that I had purchased mounted. As soon as I pulled up the tech came out of the garage to ask what I needed. He immediately went to work and had the job done in about 15 minutes. Everyone I talked to there was super friendly and the prices were very fair.

Avoid this place if you need diagnostics, it may work for you if you know exactly what work/parts your car needs. 1000$ of unnecessary repairs done on my vehicle. Similar to another reviewer here who was charged 900$ and they didn't fix the problem. Their diagnostics cost 50$ and they use it to throw new parts on your vehicle. I am so annoyed with myself for going to this place a second time. I am just not used to that way of doing business. Was Midas costumer four years in Indiana, what a disappointment Midas isn't holding same high standards for all of their locations. Changed oil in Feb' '23 and asked to see why AC heat isn't running, they changed the pump for 300$ and it was still running cold air, I ended up making an appointment to another place to fix it for 120$, had to wait for two weeks for them to do it. Two months later asked to see what is that clicking sound when I drive over bumps. They charged me 680$ for new suspension parts + installing. I left the place, drove for five minutes and the clicking sound is still here, I come back, they look for the loose part with a flashlight for 3 minutes, bent some loose nut and here I go, no noise. Spoke with their general manager, I was ready to pay for the labor but wanted at least some of my money back. He said I can't return the parts that were installed and my parts are in a garbage (?!) I didn't need those repairs in a first place. The GM said he will talk to me on Tuesday, but it's Thursday 5PM and I haven't heard from him.

Since late September, I have had to come back here for my brakes more times than I can count. Originally, my brakes went flat and they replaced my master cylinder (around 700 dollars). My brakes lasted for about a month until they went flat while I was driving. I brought it in and they said it was a "bad" master cylinder and replaced it for free. This second master cylinder lasted for three weeks. I came back in and they said they just now noticed that my brake vacuum valve was broken and needed to be replaced. I had to wait over a week for a new valve to come in and they never called me like they said they would. The new valve lasted for three days. I came back in, they told me the new valve broke and put my old one back in and told me they needed to order another one. Today with the heavy rain, the valve broke and I hydro-planed, nearly hitting a car in front of me if I didn't pull over to the side. This has been the most frustrating car experience and each time I have come in, they don't remember me (even though I was coming in several times for the past few months). There are better places to go who will actually consider your safety.

Needed my muffler replaced and they hooked me up with an unbeatable price. Got the job done quickly as well. Will definitely be one of my top considerations if I ever need something else done with my exhaust. I had an Around great experience here

AVOID THIS PLACE, they will take advantage and price gauge you. Had my brakes and rotors changed a couple weeks ago for $800. Seemed *extremely* expensive but I needed it done badly and quickly, so I paid it. Yesterday, my brakes went out on New Circle Road. When I took it back, they said the caliper needed to be replaced for $565, even though they did a caliper service the first time. After further investigation, they “accidentally” charged me for 2 calipers and would not have been caught unless questioned. They blamed it on the new guy who doesn’t know the system well, but that’s on them for putting one person in charge of people’s money when they don’t understand the computer system. There are plenty of other places in Lexington, so I suggest going elsewhere and not taking the risk here.

Called them due to a flashing check-engine light 7 hours from home. They got me in immediately, and started work to get back on the road in a few hours. Super kind people and let me bring my dog in the waiting area. Highly recommend.

I went in there with an appointment for an oil change, came on time. The guy, as soon as I came in, had a “I don’t care” tone/attitude. I told him I was there to do a conventional oil change and I asked him if he could plug in one of those diagnostic tools into my fuse box to tell me why my check engine light is on. He said, that’ll be $59. I laughed thinking he was joking but after a moment of silence I asked are you serious? He said “yup that’s a full diagnostic test.” First of all, I didn’t even need a full diagnostic test (not even sure what that included) but all I asked for was a simple thing that pretty much any mechanic shop will do as a courtesy. Second of all, whatever that diagnostic package was had a sign right in front of me saying “29.99”... I told him I wasn’t interested, I’d just take the oil change. I showed him a coupon I had for an $18 oil change and without taking a look he said “nope that’s expired” I looked and told him that no the date was still good on it (it was) and he said he was sure those stopped last month. I showed him a barcode, code, and everything from my email and he said “well it’s still gonna be a bit over 30” I asked him what the fees were, because I know there’s the oil disposal and some other small fees plus taxes but I’ve never had my price on an oil change go up that much in just fees and he said “well you should know it won’t cost you $18” very sarcastically. I told him thank you and walked away. This was, by far, the worst and most ridiculous combination of customer service and up-charging that I have ever experienced. I sure hope their other locations aren’t this bad but as far as this one goes, would not ever recommend it to anyone.

On my way to the auto parts store for some new batteries for my pickup. Along the way one of the batteries exploded... I don’t just mean cracked... I mean a mini Chernobyl explosion of battery acid under the hood. Pulled into the new circle Midas and without waiting 5 min, the truck was being looked at by a tech. 2 new interstate batteries and an alternator later my truck has never ran this well. The owner and techs were great. Friendly and let me look at everything that was bad before replacing. The owner even followed the service up with a call a few hours later to make sure everything was running well. Highly recommend these guys when you’re in a pinch. Parts and labor pricing were all well within what I would pay elsewhere or at the dealer.

Don't ever take your vehicle here. Improper installation caused my calipers to seize and they didn't do the service as they specified. On top of that, my vehicle had been serviced several times at the Southland location but they never entered the service in the electronic record. I guess because we paid with cash the service went under the table. Take yours to a reputable dealer or someone you trust.

We had to stop in while traveling, treated with such caring, compassionate, dedicated service. All the employees were so welcoming and helpful. The hospitality they offered was magnificent. We had all around brakes and calibers changed and out back on our way in less than two hours. Very thankful for this team!

Great customer service, have gone to them now three times with two different vehicles. They gave me an estimate each time and all three times the work was done in a reasonable time and one of the most friendly man I have ever dealt with is in charge. I will keep going back to them for all my work.

From the moment I walked into this Midas...being greeted by the store manager, David - offering me drinks, etc. Speedy check in. Quick service. Even witnessed on the job training for new employee who showed passion about knowing his craft. Top notch speedy service. High level of customer service. Repeat customer...see you in 3,000 miles my friends. Thanks for everything!! Keep up the great work!!

I had a very pleasant experience at Midas. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't feel as if they were rushing with my service and appreciated the extra time they took to answer my questions. I mostly liked that I wasn't pressured to buy any extra services or products. I will recommend them to others.

There's no way anyone in their right mind took the time to leave this apparent scam squad more than one star. I refuse to believe that the five star comments came from anyone but an employee. Other than urging you to read other comments for yourself, something I should have done before signing my name, here's why: I took my '02 protege5 in for an AC vac/charge after calling around and hearing prices as low as $50 and as high as $100 from competitors. I knew they were charging $163 for the job, but I figured that was the price of immediacy, and I figured a national chain that advertises the ability to trust them would have some kind of guarantee or structured integrity. These were horrible, HORRIBLE assumptions. Evidently, their system of checking for leaks is only a small portion of their perpetual money-sucking company. There is no on-site test, which may not exist anywhere; I don't know, but I do know that their method is to fill your AC system full of toxic gas and couple it with a dye so that they can spot the leak when it all ends up in the atmosphere... a process that took my system two days. I called back to set up an appointment for an even week after the first (6/9/16 & 6/16/16), being that Thursdays are my only day off, and there was no empathy from the service writer/manager/whatever; I'll certainly not share what I would call him. I get there, and the result is that he wants to drain me of $700+ more dollars, with no credit or refund for the prior overcharging. I didn't exactly comprehend the breakdown, due to my having difficulty hearing anything over the sound of smoke rolling out of my ears when he said his price was four hundred something on ONE PRESSURE HOSE and continued to explain that MY price was five hundred and something on the part... tacked on some more ridiculousness, and ended up over seven hundred. I didn't have to look up the part or the labor to know that price would have scolded me, but I did after I left, and now I'm even more furious... enough to go out of my way and write my first Google review ever. There is good news. I was able to somewhat peacefully ask the man to stop talking and have his tech pull my car out.

How do you write a zero star review? My daughter took her car in for squeaking brakes...she was told that she needed a complete brake job, front and rear, pads, shoes, rotors, drums...and her oil pan gasket was leaking...and the car wasn't safe to drive...etc... She gave them my phone number and they called me (and her) incessantly. We were at my other daughter's college graduation and couldn't take the call - and it's a good thing, because one thing I HATE is impatient, pushy people. When I was finally able to call them, it somehow changed to a much less serious brake issue, but they still wanted $1,000 to do the work. I told them to park it out front and my daughter would pick it up so I could do the work (few hundred $$ in parts, max). When she went to get the car, somehow the battery (just a year old) was dead. Now I'm not saying they left something on to drain the battery out of spite, but it's odd to me how we haven't had a single issue until we decided not to pay their exorbitant prices and all of a sudden - blam! Dead battery. What a coincidence. Yeah, not impressed. Not impressed at all.

I went to Midas on New Circle Road for the first time on 09-05-2013 because my exhaust manifold on my 2002 F-150 was leaking extremely bad. My truck was not running properly and it was missing and about to stall if I would slow to an idle. I spoke to the Manager whose name was Robin and he gave me a very fair price to repair my truck. They were able to begin the repair right away and they completed the job as promised. They did a Wonderful job and the mechanic even took the time to show me where the manifold had been leaking and where there were also two holes in the unit that it was also leaking from. The amount of my Bill was exactly what Robin had quoted and they did not try to up-sale or find other problems with my vehicle. I am extremely Happy with my choice to have Midas repair my truck and I will definitely go there when I need any further work or repairs done to my vehicle.
