Worst location ever. Very unprofessional forklift operators. They made me wait 2 hours just to tell me that they wouldn’t load the vehicles, without any reason. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

My colleague arrived to pick up our vehicle and waited at the Copart yard for two hours. The pickup was marked as “Arrived” at 3:00 PM, and the yard manager released the paperwork, indicating the vehicle was ready for release. Despite this, the vehicle was never brought out. At 5:00 PM, when the office closed, my colleague was informed to leave the yard and reschedule, even though the delay was entirely caused by Copart. We traveled to Wichita and had to book a hotel, resulting in unnecessary expenses and wasted time. This is not how a professional company should conduct business. Now, because the pickup was marked as “Arrived,” I am unable to reschedule through my Copart account, leaving me stuck due to an issue created by Copart’s staff. This experience is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I hope Copart takes responsibility and resolves this issue promptly. I also hope others are aware of how Copart handles its customers.

Do not do any business with this company. My vehicle received interior damage and speakers were stolen while on their property. The guys insurance that hit me moved my vehicle here in hopes that I would not ask for it back. So while there the inside was damaged. My son's subwoofer was stolen. And other interior speakers were damaged. Like a tweeker was trying to steal the speakers. All while the Gm says there's nothing to do and blaming the damage on my buddies shop that originally had the vehicle

This place is run worse than the government. It's always an excuse why they can't do something. They don't allow you in the yard to do inspections, so they must bring the car up to the viewing area for you to look at, which is cool, but they use it as an excuse not to bring cars out because they're short staffed. And they just screw up the cars more, by ramming forks through the bottom of them and breaking all the bumper covers. If I’m late I get charged fee’s, but they can simply not do their job with absolutely no recourse. Its completely infuriating. Then if you make it through all of that and pay for delivery, it takes them two weeks to bring your car two miles. My shop is literally two miles from their lot. If i take two days to come pick up a car there is a late fee, but if they take two weeks to deliver your car, its just peachy.

Horrible service, come pick up vehicle here and see how horrible this place is. I have a very hard time to find any towing company willing to pick up vehicles from Copart Wichita that not over charge for extra.

The service was terrible. I arrived at 12 pm to load my order and they didn't load it until the next day. The manager hides to avoid talking to you. They treat you with racism. The forklift operators even kicked one of them out for getting into a fight with a customer and slapping him.

Hi everyone. It's best not to come to this auction after lunch; the traffic is almost all the way to the main street. The best time to come is before lunch. I had an appointment for 2:00 PM, but I ended up leaving at 5:30 PM.

I went there to sign a POA for my insurance company when my car was totaled. The lady in there is very nice and helpful. It was super fast. She got me all squared away and back on my way in now time.

I have a guest membership and I want to look at a couple cars and if I decide to bid I'll buy a membership first they said I could look at them and then they said I had to pay $25 just to look at a car and then what the other review saying there's so many added charges added on to the car. way more than other auctions I'm just going to go somewhere else

Sold a 2014 Journey, not starting. Received a check at time of transfer for $400 with title signed over. Received a call an hour later that they put a stop pay on the check and will reissue a check for $300 a week later because it shouldn't have been so much. A very unprofessional experience. Their mistake. We have no payment, no title and no car now.

Bought a truck from this yard, send a driver out to pick it up. Driver gets there and the truck was no at the yard that copart sold it at. Driver charged me 500 for wasting their time. I can't get ahold of the yard. I just paid 20k for a truck and I can't even pick it up. The phone system keeps hanging up. I can't email the manager or anything. Plus now I'm paying storage fees because I'm not picking up the truck. Major scam.

Sign up experience is horrible. Took a $99 payment and then told me to create a new account. Took a 2nd $99 payment under new account and then suspended the 2nd account.

Walked in at 4:59. Didnt now they closed at 5PM. They kicked us right out. Very rude. Very unfriendly. I woll be getting my stuff from my wrecked car and i will lwt my car insurance company to not do business with a company this rude and unprofessional.

Too bad I can't give it less than 1 star. Where to begin.... 300-400 cars for sale per auction. Maybe 20-30 are out and available to be looked at that are actually for sale that week. You can request one car be moved per week, but sometimes that does not even happen. Let's get to the fees. Let's say you buy a $10k vehicle. There will be about $1000-$1200 worth of buyer fees on top of that. Substantially more than any other auction around (by 40-70%). Previously, you could drive a vehicle away (if it runs and drives). Not anymore. Now ALL vehicles have to be towed out. So, if you don't own a tow truck you get to pay for that too. Many more complaints that I could add to the list, but these are some of the worst. Updated 8-26-24 to 3 stars. New general manager at this location. Things are improving. Fees are still high but that's all Copart location. Front office staff is friendly and has a better atmosphere with new GM. You can now also walk the entire lot to see everything.

Bought a vehicle for $400. By the time they add all their bullshit fees the vehicle was almost $800 when it should really be less than $500. You pay a $170 buyers fee, plus a $79 gate fee and a $39 internet bid fee. Oh, plus the $99 registration fee. They price gouge the hell out of you. This will be the first and last vehicle i buy from copart. Not to mention, you cannot drive the vehicle off the lot. So, then you accrue a tow fee unless your equipped with a truck and trailer.

In 2015 I was a naïve and broke college kid transporting everything I owned at the time with me as I went back to school. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford the added cost on a bus ticket to bring the other half of my stuff with me after an auto incident. So my insurance arranged for my car to be held with Copart until I could retrieve the rest of my things and transfer my title over to them a few weeks later. I arranged for Copart to hold my stuff so I could pick them up, but when I arrived a few weeks later I found that my things had all been looted or perhaps simply thrown out. I lost some valuable things that day, including several items of sentimental value, irreplaceable to me. For this reason I will never use Copart again for any service, and I am vocal to others to not use them as well.

Terrible. Borderline harassment to start the process to try and get the car (when the insurance company hadn't even notified me it was totalled) and then completely incorrectly issued payout for the insurance claim company they work for. No communication, no nothing, from them or Insurance Company. All around just a mess.

Absolutely horrible and quite upsetting. When you are bidding the current bid goes up rapidly then says the auction concludes with a crazy high price for a wrecked car. But somehow the same lot ends up on the list again. In conclusion these people are bidding on their own lots to get as much as they can out of you. Very shady bussiness and I will not be returning.

My car was taken here after an accident. When I came to pick up my belongings, half my things were missing. A gift worth $60, was missing, important things hanging on my mirror were cut off, one of my seat covers was ripped and had to be thrown away, and a steering wheel accessory was missing as well. VERY disappointed and wondering where my stuff went as there was trash still left but my things were missing.

Went to pick up a car from here, and what a disaster that was. Rude staff, absolutely zero help from any staff at all. Paid for a $10 vest, and never received it. Refused to give me title to my car I paid for. Spent 2 hours arguing back and fourth until I received paperwork. I highly do NOT recommend this location. Buy from another location to save you this headache.

The Management is terrible. They had me go back to pick up a car, then told me I had to schedule an appointment in order to pick up a the car. I explained i drove from 6 hours to pick up the car to the Management, and she was super rude and told me her ataff made a mistake and i wouod have to drive home and come back Monday to pick up the car, after her staff stated to pull back and pick up the car. Had the loader tell me how me how to schedule an appointment for that day, and was able to grab the car right then and there with his help. I am almost certain this isn't the first time the manager has had a complaint, and the loader stated she was not a nice or compassionate person. Thank you to the loader for the help and saving me a 12 hour round trip! I received the car and there is no keys for me to get the car going. Now I have to spend another $500 to see if the car runs, after the lot stated it Runs & Drives. Awesome!

BEWARE - THEFT AT THIS LOCATION, someone is picking off expensive parts. Recently bought a car at this location. The pictures showed the steering wheel airbag intact, after picking up the car I stopped by the gas station for a fuel and load inspection. I noticed the Steering wheel airbag was missing.

Horrible experience today. Drove an hour to look at 12 cars to bid on. None of them were available to view. Told they can only make one available to view. I did not bid or win anything due to not being able to Inspect them and estimate damage. I'm going to be requesting a refund on my membership fee. Total waste of time.. don't waste yours it's a gamble now to bid on anything unseen.

It's not easy to find good ratings with car auctions, yes, but a lot of times that can be the buyer's fault (For not reading the details etc), but also the auction's fault for various reasons, or poor customer service. Personally, I have dealt with Wichita Copart many times and have never had an issue. The reason I felt compelled today to leave a review is I gave one of their employees, Nel, a rather hard time about a title discrepancy. I won't go into the details but I will tell you that--while I was I was growing impatient about something--she handled my frustration very patiently whereas most assistants During this banter would have been much less professional. So, after I apologized to her, I realized this gal has experience, and not only knows what she is doing on the business but knows how to handle the people of this industry. Additionally, she was able to rectify the problem (and quickly) in the end, and as if I was the nicest person in the world (which I wasn't, so, of course by then I feel bad). so, thanks again!

I wish that communication and times had been kept. When a time is scheduled it's hard to move your schedule around as it is but I was at home waiting all day and was late to work. Beside the run around for 2 days and being late I do have to say that they met my price closer than anyone else and when my car was finally picked up the tow driver was friendly. Had they had better communication pick up I would have absolutely loved my experience. I appreciate the fair price and how easy the car and check exchange was with no last minute haggling. I just recommend that you schedule your pick up for when you have a free day and evening since the pick up is a lt tow drivers discretion and schedule and not coparts.

If it were possible to rate 0 I would have. Only encounter that was pleasant was the lady who helped me. Waited for over an hr and when my vehicle was brought up, brought the wrong truck and not even the right color. Such a lousy experience

Ladies at the office were very polite and did a great job to take care of the customers. It seemed like a busy day as the wait times were excruciating. Despite the great service inside, the first impressions at the entrance of the building were not quite satisfying. Copart being a very profitable business, I’d assume they can afford to pay for some asphalt on the customer parking at the front. It was a windy day and the dust was getting everywhere. There’s definitely a room to create a dedicated parking/ waiting area for the pickup drivers. The shenanigans at the entrance were exhausting. I like the added technology to get on a waiting list to enter the building, but most of the drivers had no clue what to do and kept banging on the door. Ultimately, the competition for this industry is growing by the day and if they don’t fix these issues, they will face the consequences.
