I looked on car-parts.com and found what I needed. Chrisman had a picture on the site with exactly that in the picture. So I called and spoke with Nick. I told him that I needed a complete door assembly. He said that they had it. He told me to come in and look at it. Then if I liked it and prepaid for it they would pull it for me. So I get ready and drive for an hour to reach their location. Go out and look at it. It is not a complete door assembly. It is a door shell. Not what I had asked for at all. Any parts person should know the difference between a door shell and a complete door assembly. Then the hour drive home after that. So his lack of knowledge cost me over two hours and $20 worth of gas. Not happy at all!!!! I would give a negative amount of stars if it allowed that.
We purchased a rebuilt tranny aprox. 9 months ago, and it has to be changed out again. After calling them to see if they would Stand behind their work, was Told to Have it towed and have another company take a look at it and call them and let them know what they found out. So obviously they have the work done Somewhere other than their shop. My question is who's gonna pay the tow bill, and then how much of a bill am I going to have for them checking it out. So I found someone that would check out what was going on, the only thing they changed was the clutch plate.
Nothing else had been changed.No upgrades no nothing parts were put in backwards. Basically, I'm screwed out of 1100 dollars and now putting more money into it. Because although they said they guarantee their work, they're not standing behind it and their work has failed. No I don't know if chrismans Are the ones responsible or if they pay someone else to do their rebuilds? But whoever it is,I wouldn't even give them a one star. So beware of buying a rebuilt tranny from them, unless you enjoy throwing your money away and being stranded.
Best motor I have ever received from a salvage yard and best service! Purchased the motor on line, almost unseen other than what vehicle it was coming from and received a motor in excellent condition! Internally it was super clean, had very little wear, and runs like new! Price was excellent as compared with all the other yards i had looked at and of the others offered through different sites. Shipping was fast and motor was packed well and set up for freight shipping nicely. Best drivetrain/freight ship purchase/experience I've ever had! I highly recommend them!
gave them my old part to make sure they had and picked the right one. said it would be a couple hours ended up taking 6 and they tried to give me the wrong part.
I don't normally get my car parts from salvage yard due to how disrespectful the employees normally are, but that is NOT the case here. They run this place as a business, treat you as a paying customer, and will make things right.
The prices are not bad, and they have a great inventory to choose from!
Next time I need salvage parts; Chrismans will be the first place I check!
Nick at Chrisman's was very helpful. I had emailed them about availability for some parts they showed available for my 1985 Chrysler. Not only did he provide fair pricing for the parts I was looking for, he shipped them to my house in Wisconsin! Very pleasant experience dealing with this company. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if they have parts I'm looking for.
Automotive business friendly staff, even said it was standard practice to run and compression test engines before selling them. I’ll happily wait a few days to get a good running engine for my truck highly recommend.

Rude office staff on the phone and in person when trying to find an engine for a Chevy Cobalt I'd give zero stars as a rating but Google won't let me. Don't give them your business. Honestly, I don't see how they have stayed in business this long with poor customer service.
I was in need of a rim for a customer, called and they said they had one, only to get a call in that afternoon that the rim was not good and they couldn't sell it to me, they said they had a steel one instead. Asked my customer if that would work they said that was fine. I sent a driver 40 miles, one way, to there location just for them to realize that it was a 16" rim instead of a 18". Apparently they are not qualified to read a tape measure, or accurately describe parts. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Waste of my time, my customers, my drivers, and my staff's time. Completely blown away by their lack of intelligence. Just go ahead and shut your own head in a barn door, it will save you time and give you the same result.
I order a gas tank when I picked up the gas tank it did not come with the straps or bolts which is horrible why charge so much for the tank and not give all the pieces
I recently ordered a transmission for my 1994 Honda accord and I had the pleasure of getting assisted by Tony and he had amazing customer service and he deserves more than 5 stars in my personal opinion and I just wanted to give a big thanks to him and I hope others get the pleasure of getting the top tier service I had the honor of getting from him

Very disappointed with the service and falsified and misleading information this business has online. Ordered parts for a vehicle, listed online it stated “GRADE A” “DOOR ASSEMBLY” drove over 600 miles to this location thinking I would do excellent business. Arriving here, the 2 doors I purchased and fender I purchased were very very very bad! Scratches, dents, and the entire assembly was missing. This company really and honestly thought I would just lose over $1200 for the CORES ONLY! Not one time did it list this online! The door handles, windows, mirrors were all gone! This is a very awful encounter. Requested for my money back, paid for these things a week in advance. The photos and information listed on the site is FALSE. This shouldn’t be allowed, very disappointed to have gone through this experiment.
This is the best salvage in Wichita. They know their parts and the staff is very knowledgable. They are true car guys. They have the best prices in town as well from what I have found. This is the first place I look when I need parts.

Called yard for a starter on a Ford Edge but unfortunately they pulled the wrong model. Got the correct one pulled in a timely fashion and was willing to test it for me before I left shop even though they were extremely busy. Will consider them again for future needs.
Weak customer service. I called in at 1:00 for a single wheel and i was never notified when to get it. i could barely get it before they closed, leaving me no time to get it to a shop for installation. Huge waste of time and i certainly would not recommend this place to anyone, you’d be much better off going up the street

These people are the biggest liars in the world and then tell have the nerve to tell me not to have an attitude. I called them before noon today asking for my part that I needed and was told that they would have it ready by 3:00 pm. I called before 3:00 stating that I was running late and was assured that it would be ready when I arrived. I have a 30 minute drive from my home to this business and when I arrived it was not ready and I waited for over an hour for them. They are rude very unprofessional and I don’t recommend anyone use them for anything.
Terrible service... called the day before and paid and verified that my part would be pulled and ready when I arrived at opening (9am) since I would be coming from okc. Didnt recieve my part until 1140. Front counter guys were rude and unconcerned. If i could give half star I would.
So far so good really. I've purchased parts from them several times over the years and have never had a bad experience. Today I arrived to pick up a part and it was not as requested, the guy helping me apologized and told me had another pulled and ready for me shortly. No big argument, no excuses, just reasonable response. I realize no one's perfect, mistakes are made, but handling them professionally like this is a breath of fresh air these days.
Staff is very rude poor customer service. Got a broken radiator from him brought it back and was accused of breaking it myself when you can tell it was broke by them. Then their staff member got very rude and started cussing me out and saying that it wasn't their fault. I do not recommend anybody coming here worst experience of my life. If I could I would give negative Stars
