Watch out for this place. They have contracts with several local parking lots. Towed my car while I took tire off to be repaired it was on jack stands. Came back car was towed 2 doors down charged me 168.00.
Locked my keys in my car and within an hour It was unlocked!
Mrs Laurie is the sweetest dispatcher in the world and Mr Kevin who unlocked my car is a true professional. Absolutely zero damage to the car and I drive a small Audi TT which is notoriously difficult to get into yet he was able to make it happen with ZERO issues! Thank you to everyone at Bud Roat Towing!
My car needed to be towed to a mechanic and the shop recommended Bud Roat. I’m so glad they did! Everyone I spoke with at Bud Roat was friendly and helpful. They made a stressful situation much easier, and their cost is very reasonable. I hope I don’t need a tow again, but if I did I know who to call. Highly recommend!
I broke down on the highway. The tow company was really fast and helpful. The man was very kind even offered to carry my groceries for me. My car is lowered and a pain to get on even ramps or a jack. He took the time to make sure my car was loaded properly and didn't get damaged. He did all this is pouring rain. They made a bad day a little better and took care of my car properly. Recommended
Well, you guys towed my mother’s vehicle from an apartment complex that my brother-in-law lives at and he was using it to move stuff at the end of the day you seen a car that you guys didn’t know and you went ahead and towed it and I guess a drop by mortuary so I get how that can happen but I guess they park this blue Honda there too you guys don’t tow that and you guys damage the front splitter on the humper a police report will be made. We do have photos of the truck just form a few days ago it was not like that
They got to my car earlier than anticipated. Loren (sp?) was great: fast, professional, no-nonsense, and a nice conversation on the way to the repair shop.
I was in a bad roll over accident on I-35 toll road as I hydroplaned-not room in the construction area to do that obviously & I wasn’t going fast. (Sorry I shut down the interstate on May 24th) I’ve had experience with tow companies before & I have to say that this was the best experience I’ve had (in such a bad situation). I had my 3 dogs with me & he let me bring them in the truck (otherwise animal control would’ve taken them) I had a fractured sternum & ribs but otherwise we were ok. He let me stop at the gas station to get a drink (watched my dogs while I was in there) & was very informative about costs & definitely had my wellbeing in mind. I can’t recall the guys name but THANK YOU so much for making a horrible situation better & thank you for all your help & information. I HIGHLY recommend this company. I’m not easily impressed-I’m high maintenance so I don’t give compliments unless they’re earned. This guy definitely earned it! There was flooding & im sure it wasn’t pleasant for anyone to be out there in the storm.
Everyone there (driver's & dispatch) was Amazing!! And they were FAST!! Rusty raced over to us almost immediately!! And even when there were "technical difficulties", they all worked together quickly to get us the best service!! Very Much Appreciated!!!
My daughter’s car broke down in the middle of the road. We called 4 places none of them could get to us for hours! AAA finally came through with Buds towing. The man showed up. He was extremely knowledgeable and lifted our spirits through is kindness and jokes. Had amazing customer service. Got there fast, loaded the car safety an got it home. The experience ways top tier. Highly recommend! Truly thankful for him.
Bud Roat responded to my call for roadside, a tow from QT to my mechanic. I was able to ride with the driver who was friendly and professional. 10 out of 10 experience! Highly recommend for your towing needs.
My Vehicle broke down at 96 and Oliver. I called Bud Roat's towing and ordered a tow truck. I was told it would be an hour no more than an hour and a half. After 2 hours of waiting, I called back and was informed by the dispatcher that the driver who was scheduled to help me out was dropping off a vehicle at 96 and Rock Rd. I was told he would be to my location with in 2O minutes. Another hour later, I called again and was told by the dispatcher that she sent him to handle a police involved tow..Not only was I blown off but they didn't even have the audacity to call and tell me that I wasn't going to be helped by them. I wouldn't use them even if it meant losing my vehicle.
I got stuck in the snow, after dealing with 2 different tow companies before them not being able to get me out of the ditch I was in.. I called them, and they got me out an 30 - 1 hour. So happy with the service, I’ll definitely be using them again when needed. Pricing was also fair and affordable.
I wish I'd a caught the guys name that helped me but I did not. Anyhow, great customer service, he got where I was at really quick and did a great job! If you ever need a tow etc Bud Roat's in my opinion is definitely the route to go!
Called for a tow, said they were on their way (9 minutes eta), so I clocked out to meet the driver on my lunch hour and they took almost an hour to get to me. When I called for an update the last who answered the phone got an attitude with me saying that they had plenty of time. I hope this place goes out of business.
Our car broke down and we were unable to move it safely off the road. We requested roadside assistance and they were the ones that were selected to help us. And I am so glad that they were. They helped us aa quick aa they could and made sure that we understood the process and everything that would be happening. They made sure that our concern about our car still sticking out in the road was taking care of as well. I highly recommend their services to anyone who needs a towing service.
Give Kevin a raise! He told me he’s on his 10th tow of the night, yet he was timely, patient, personable, and informative throughout the process. I cannot speak for the rates of this company as I went through AAA, but they clearly care about staffing their drivers (even their night drivers) with effective and friendly professionals. 5 stars!
On July 2, 2024 I called for a flat tire a young lady (which did not give her name) answered and told me a hour and 15 minutes l was ok with that. I called back just to see if a truck was free in the area she said no it was sent to a police officer call. But assured me I was still on the list. After a hour waiting I managed to get help so respectfully I called back to cancel my assistance call and was told that she never had anyone coming! I’m so pissed off I would never recommend Bud Roat Towing because of this. To the Little girl that didn’t do her job, you should be fired!!!!!
Do not recommend this company! Was told by two different people that it would be $95 for my tow. When the driver got here, he told me a different price and charged for mileage since it was technically outside of Wichita even though it is a Wichita address of where they picked up. Talked to management and she admitted it was her fault and still made me pay the higher amount. Do not recommend at all!
Called the dispatch and they had a truck nearby. A couple hours later they arrived, loaded and left. Car was dropped off safely to the mechanic. I've used 1 other place in the past, a pretty popular place, and I'll never use them again. I'll only call Bud Roat from now on.
I called a lot of places in Wichita to see if they would come help me with my flat tire, and all of them were “too busy” and kept sending me to different places. When I called Bud Roat’s the lady told me she didn’t have anyone available at the moment, but instead of sending me away to another business they gave a time estimate of when somebody could be out to help me! They were at my location much sooner than expected! Dude was super nice and very fast! Overall great customer service and super kind employees! Will definitely use again in the future!
My door lock broke leaving me locked out of my car and they were able to be out in 10-15min. Gave me a price of $65 which seemed average and got me taken care of. They were fast, courteous and focused on helping the customer. Thanks again!
My family and I were broke down on the high of the highway, they had great speedy service. Not only did they go above and beyond with the tow, they had Hertz rental car pick up my family and I from where we broke down and made sure they could get us a one way rental car to make it back home. This is definitely more than a business to them, they make you feel just like family. Thank you for going above and beyond for us!
Had a bad blow out during busy hours on 135. Bud Roats was the 4th company I called and only one to answer the phone and take care of me. With in 30 min had my tow show up and headed to be dropped at the shop. Driver was great and very much appreciated them being there seeing how it was 110 degrees outside. Thank you for the great experience in a terrible situation.
Driver was super nice and communicated with me before arriving to confirm where I was. He arrived almost an hour before the estimated time - ETA was given to me by my insurance when I ordered the tow. I had to change the original drop off address and he was happy to comply. Very nice and fast.
This guy saved our weekend. My car died in a parking lot at 6pm on a Friday and I thought all my plans were out the window. I tried jumping the car by myself and had no success, I thought my car was done for. Fortunately Bud Roat’s Towing came down and got my car up and running within minutes. Wait time was better than outstanding. 15 mins to arrive and 2 mins to fix and explain to me what went wrong. I got my car back home after that.
I had two small children with me and wait time is very important to me. He was a friendly guy and genuinely concerned with our safety and getting us all on the road again. Excellent customer service. The staff here is very polite and eager to help. I was involved in an accident and my vehicle was towed here temporarily. These guys helped me get my belongings out from the car and updated me on the process. The parking in front of the office would be somewhat difficult during the busy hours.
