It was a Friday and per gps I would not arrive to this place until 4:31pm. Basically right when they close. I called and talked to a kind man, with an accent, asking if he wouid please wait for me. Shockingly he was willing to. Once I arrived him and the other worker were so kind and helpful. I will definitely visit this place again when I have scrap to cash in! Thanks again Voodoo and workerman!
Good people. Am a electrician passing through after a job. Had a tote of aluminum, tote of wire, and a small amount of bare bright. Paid $140, more than I was expecting. Good stop.
You can totally trust these men they have real integrity...as for Julie's bad report I don't know why you'd bring something good to scrap yard that doesn't make any sense you get paid by the weight of the steel SMH those guys are as honest as they come you want me better in this business I promise you they always be separating aluminum and copper making sure people get their money 🤑💰 very polite respectful and in return I respect them a great place to go
Good place always open but they need to have your weight shown to them and the customer they scale is only shown to them you have to go off what he says biggest downfall there I can't trust my own family but I'm supposed to trust them 👀 hahah just saying besides that there awesome
Best place in bellville fast simple and quick to help you out if your new to scraping. Fun and friendly place would go there everyday if gas wasn't so expensive lol.
I truly think I got scammed to be honest with you. And then I had to load it up myself to the scale. And the scales are not visible. So it was what it was
I don’t EVER leave reviews, but I feel the need to after knowing this. My son was finishing up his time at Scott AFB and coming home. He was able to move out a few days earlier than expected. Brought a washer and dryer, a lawnmower, and a microwave there. All items were very clean, newer, and in excellent working condition. They gave him $17.95. I fully believe that donating to a charity, animal or homeless shelter, or to help out a family Etc. would be a much better choice.
They take pretty much everything metal. Even took a microwave off my hands. They'll weigh it, pay you cash, and have you out the door in less than a couple minutes. Carts on site to move your heavy items. It doesn't pay much but the hassle free experience is worth your time.
This is the best place ever and they are super friendly and helpful Highly recommended them they help you need help especially if you are disabled or older they go out of their way to help you unload your stuff I give them more than a 5 star!!!
Brought in 116lbs in aluminum. I know because I weighed it before I went in. They weighed it in at...92lbs. In other words I believe I was shorted close to 25lbs of aluminum. Or the equivalent of 7-8 of the frames. And unfortunately the way their shop is setup, once I’d unloaded it, and it was in their weigh shop, it was nearly impossible to demand it back. Wierdest setup is ever seen. No truck weigh in either.
I took the hit. Weights on steel also seemed low, but I can’t prove that because I didn’t weigh it.
Thats NOT cool.
Will NEVER go back. Not ever. My advice: you should stick with Belleville recycling. Skip these guys.
