I left my car at this shop for 5 months, called in every 2 weeks for an update and I was told they would get to it over and over. weeks and months pass at this point, they finally tell me they cannot fix the vehicle. When I come to pick up the vehicle there is damage underneath the car where it looks like a car jack would have been. I have pictures to prove this happened at the shop and instead of them helping me to fix the damage they told me I owe them for a storage fee while my car sat there. Absolutely horrible customer service, do not take your car here
Today is September 22, 2025.
I had taken my car there this morning. I expected to see John Freeman and receive the same great service that I’ve gotten in the past. It was to my surprise and deep sadness that I learned that he’s no longer with us.?
The way his staff picked up the slack and continuing the legacy of great customer service and workmanship exceeded my expectations. When I tell you, they went way over and beyond what they had to do is an understatement. I know John is looking down proudly at his team.

Freeman Service always does good work and provides excellent service. The mechanic team is extremely qualified and capable. I have always been very satisfied over many years.
Was having problems passing emissions for the past month, got a number of things replaced at a different shop and was still having issues. Took it here, and they were able to find and fix everything. After picking up my car, I drove it just a few miles and it was already emissions ready. Awesome place!
John saw me right away! I drive an e300 Diesel Mercedes and the AC was broken. He ordered the parts and could have fixed it the same day but was willing to take me first thing the next morning since I couldn’t stay! The wait felt like no time. The people and the energy there feels good. The parts he used are good quality and it feels good knowing it will last. The price was good too! Thanks, John! Oh and I loved meeting Macy. She’s so loving!

Another European Shop well-known quoted me $7000 and said I needed a new motor put in my Mercedes. Freeman was able to determine there was no reason for a new motor & found the problem was coolant leak etc. Saved me $5500 from the two other quotes from the well known European shops wanting to sell me a new motor. Mind blowing service! John is not the type of person to put up balloons, have a greeter greet you and other fluff when you service your car there, then hit you with a whopping bill. Probably one of the most straightforward people that I've ever met. The way it should be. No smoking mirrors just mind blowing work and service!
I took my vehicle to United BMW in Alpharetta. Never again! They have all the greeters, coffee, snacks, fluff and smoking mirrors that you can stand for one day. The very greedy Service Advisors work strictly on commission. They'll upsell you a bunch of repair recommendations that you simply don't need. The hourly repair rate is insulting. The cost of parts is so ridiculous you would think that they're flying part over 1st class from Germany directly from the factory!
Oh wait sorry, this is suppose to be about John Freeman Automotive. Take your foreign car to John and nowhere else! Especially not a dealership! John's guy fixed my Electronic Parking Brake Actuator the same day for a fraction of what those crooks of at United BMW in Alpharetta quoted me and John does no upselling for things that you just don't need.

Repaired the convertible top on my wife's 2001 BMW Z3 Roadster which had not been working correctly since 2018. After having it worked on by a shop in Marietta, who did not fix the top, Freeman Automotive found and repaired the faulty wiring which was causing the problem. Thank you so much for outstanding service. I would refer this shop to anyone!
Best mechanic i know of. And i have a jaguar which are notorious for breakdowns. Not only did Freeman fix my car, and any car i bought him but never had issues after he worked on it. A one stop shop. Freeman Automotive was closed once and i took it to another mechanic... bad idea and i wont do that again. If you go to Freeman Automotive there's no reason to go anywhere else!
And to help prove my point... i took the time out of my day to leave a review to let anyone reading this know... this is where to go! Im very judgmental with my judgement and this place is 5 stars all the way.
I have only talked to them by plone but were courteous and professional. I have an appointment to drop my Jaguar off next week. I was referred to them by John Farris at "Speedweii". He specializes in high end complete restorations of classic Jags. Will update after I get my car back!
These guys really care about their customers. They checked out and serviced my 02 Toyota Tundra. The price was fair, service was thorough, and the techs friendly . Will return with my other cars!
If you're looking for a trustworthy and productive place to get your car worked on then you've found it! Won't ever take my car anywhere else. They have always had the work done and had my car back to me within a couple days or so and always with a reasonable price for the amount of work they do.
