My truck was stolen and pulled over by Cherokee County. It was impounded by Mauldins and surprise they charge the victims 190.00 plus 35.00 a day. When I called to claim my property was informed that they are only open 1 hour a day 4 to 5 to retrieve the vehicle. So the big Ice storm is coming on today and temperatures are steadily falling and most likely will not be able to get there to retrieve vehicle for several days. I have no other vehicle and will be left without a way to gather food or fuel ahead if the inclimate weather all the while they are steadily going to add on an additional 35 dollars a day to the point I will loose the vehicle to them because of the cost to retrieve the vehicle from their lot. This is about the same as Theft by taking in my opinion. Both the county and Mauldins don't give a damn about the victims just the money they can retrieve. Boycott Mauldins body shop..... I am asking all of my customers in the area to show them that they are doing as much harm to the victims as the person who did the taking of the vehicle.

Absolutely great! When I needed body work done for my 2021 F250, they were not only one of the cheaper quotes I got but also the most willing to work with me and actually "fix" things vs just replacing them. Could not recommend them more highly.

I had to pick up my car from here yesterday. Everyone there was super nice, efficient, and personable. I had valuables in my vehicle and they were untouched. After reading the reviews, I was not sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Super nice people. I will recommend them.

Prices are high but within the law as they are contracted with the city of Holley Springs. Insurance covered the charges. The driver who picked up my vehicle from a wreck involving my a dump truck was friendly, and provided all the information I needed while also caring for my vehicle. I called up a few times and spoke to a gentleman in the office. He was always friendly and incredibly helpful as this was the first time I had been in an accident that involved insurance and a tow.

We had a deep scratch on the liftgate of our SUV. We brought the car up to Mauldin and they got the car looking good as new again! They had clear communication, the car was ready ahead of schedule, and the costs were aligned to the estimate they had provided initially. Overall, we're very satisfied with our experience and thrilled about the quality the car was returned to us in.

My Trailblazer died on me in rush hour traffic, I called Mauldin and they were there within 15 minutes. From the person that took my call to tow truck driver - service was exceptional. They were polite and they listened to me. I will never call anyone else if I need a tow again. Highly recommend them!!! Thanks y'all!!

Got into a late night pickle and these guys really showed up. They arrived quickly and made the process seamless. We ended up having another unexpected issue and Matt stepped in and took great care of us. If you need a tow these are your guys!

My son was in a bad motorcycle accident about 2 weeks ago. Spent about a week or so in the hospital with no less than 3 surgeries. Once he got out, he started trying to get his bike back, which is totaled, that was towed to Mauldin. Apparently all police tows in the county go there... Anyways, it's a destroyed bike that is not drivable. Apparently it sat there beyond their alloted amount of time, and he now owes $1,000+ to get it out (less then 2 weeks in storage). Went to get it, only to find out they only take cash?? What?!? By the time he pulled that together, they were closed, and now the amount will not doubt be more....What type of business, this size (as they handle all the police tows in the county) don't take credit cards. Seems awful shady to me, and won't ever refer them in the future.

Guy at the front desk was rude. If it were up to me I’d give my business to a company who was nice to their customers. It’s unfortunate we had no choice since the cops automatically called them (strangely seems to be the case for almost everyone here). The thing is though your rates are high and are set by something else greater than what you can control (which I understand) I’d say the least you could be is nice to the people who have to walk in. Quite frankly I didn’t care about how much money it costs (I’m more grateful my brother survived his crash) but being rude never helps. It’s unfortunate to see how many customer feel the same about this company, definitely says a lot about who they are. If you have a choice go somewhere else!

Complete communication failure, after being involved in an accident our vehicle was towed to the Woodstock location. The lady at the counter was extremely rude, unpleasant, and lacked common sense. Update to my review, after speaking with Angela the owner, I explained my point of view from my experience. She explained that her employee made her best attempt to try and explain what was needed to help me with my request. Angela was extremely helpful and clearly explained things could have been handled better on both sides but took the time to listen to my point of view. I changed my review due to the owner of the business listening to my concerns and addressing them. My initial review was based upon what appears to be a lack of communication upon myself and the worker at the counter but has been handled by the owner.

I brought my friend today to pick up his vehicle it was a really easy process and they even gave him a deal and didn't charge him as much as originally said. The owner was very nice and kind! Additionally it was a very fast process we are probably only there 10 minutes!

My car was totaled on January 25 at 9 o’clock in the morning and a time of desperation where you don’t know how or where things are gonna go. It takes a young man like Jeremy to make everything easy and a sense of calm my hats off to Jeremy thank you thank you for everything that you did to make my situation easy And non-stressful you are definitely an asset for Maulding towing,

$275 hook up fee when the cops call them to the wreck. Stay clear. This company is dishonest, unfriendly, unreasonable, unprofessional. Tried to tell me I could only pay cash on police call tows. Had them drop my car and called another wrecker. Do not let these people touch your car.

The worst experience ever! The owner was extremely rude. Would not give a straight answer when the car would be ready. Charged a 4% fee for using my credit card. Even know it wasn't posted anywhere. Never mentioned it until it was time to pay. When it was ready called and said come get it right now with no heads up. Called my insurance company and tried to get my rental car revoked. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Driver pulling out into moving traffic that hasn’t come to a stop and then trying to harass the driver on butterworth. I had a five year old in the vehicle. I’ll be by the shop tomorrow to make this is addressed. Since you want to have a poorly spelled dumb response. I was in the lane going straight which had no vehicles in it, meaning I have the right of way up to the intersection whether it’s red or not. I wouldn’t block the driveway and didn’t. Y’all can humble yourselves and be wrong. Glad to see everyone at this company lacks quality service and would rather try and cause issues. I’ll definitely be by if that’s how it needs to be. ?

I recently had a terrible experience with Maulding towing. My daughter was in an accident this week and her car was totaled half of a mile from my house. The police officer told me that the car would be towed and that I could take my daughter home. We were standing on the side of the road with her 4 siblings so that seemed like the right thing to do. I realized once I got home that I didn't know where the car would be. The next day (Thursday) I received the police report and found that it went to Mauldin and I immediately called them. Chad answered and was very short with communication. I told him multiple times that I didn't understand the process. He was rude and condescending once he realized that I only had liability insurance on the car. I told him that I was widowed mom to 5 kids and I had never had an accident like this before and needed some guidance on how to handle it. He was not helpful and just continued to question why I would have full coverage insurance on the car. I told him that I would get some advice on what to do and call him back. Today (Monday) I had a friend call the office after receiving a certified letter over the weekend threatening legal action against me. I thought maybe my friend could explain my situation clearer than I could and see if they would work with me. Chad was again very rude and didn't seem to care that I was willing to give him the car. He just kept saying his hands were tied by the county in what to charge for this. I then went in the office hoping that he would be willing to work with me since I was going to give him the title to the car. Chad again had a canned response that he must repeat over and over again. He and his wife Angela were very rude to me saying that if I had called myself it would have been cheaper. They both said that the county has a set fee that it charges and that they would not work with me despite me giving them the title of the car. Chad has the "county paperwork" on his desk at the ready so my guess is that he has had this conversation many times. He said multiple times that he would be able to sell the car because I signed the title over to him. Bottom line here is that Mauldin is supposed to be a "community focused" business but was not willing to work with a family in their own community and scared me into giving them my car and money. $430 and the title to the car.

The one in Canton is horrible. I was at the wrong location/ I needed to be at the Woodstock location. The 2 guys at the Canton location were very indifferent\ I felt like I was appearing in court before a judge. They were nasty and acted like I was some kind of criminal. They questioned my daughter like they were cops. They didn’t know the circumstances surrounding the towing of the car, but they acted like they were judging us (like we were trying to get away with something)! Good grief! A little kindness would do well in any business. I’d you want to be cops go become a police officer so you can interrogate people!

Mauldin Body Shop and 24/7 Towing went well out of their way to provide an invaluable tow when a family member was in crisis and needed help. Their thoughtfulness and kindness went above and beyond and it is wonderful to see businesses with such amazing character in the community. They have our family's heartfelt thanks and I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Amazing customer service and very helpful when I had to get my mustang towed. Was asked before hand if it was lowered so they can make sure they have all equipment needed to safely tow my car. HIGHLY recommend using Mauldin for all towing needs!

Had a problem when our key fob got locked in our car and the car wouldn’t respond to our trying to enter. Called about 6:45pm on Sat evening and Matt said someone would be there within half hour. Not even 15 minutes later Ryan showed up, all smiles and very friendly, chatting it up with our 3 year old grandchild. It didn’t take long for him to complete his job. What’s most outstanding about the service Matt & Ryan performed was they trusted me and came to my rescue when everything that was required to complete such a call with other vendors failed. Literally all we had on us were bathing suits…. Everything was locked up in the car. We are so grateful for their level of customer care!

Had a tire blow out, causing my vehicle to run off the road and needed to be towed. The Cherokee county police department called them to tow it. Arrived at their office the next morning and was given 3 options (after being there 2.5 hrs) 1. Claim insurance and have them fix it, 2: have them tow it to another location (I live in NC, so not an option), or 3: Drive it off their property with a flat tire so I could change my tire. They wouldn’t touch my vehicle nor would they let me touch it while in their lot. They would not help me do anything. Customer service is absolutely horrendous. Some of the most arrogant and hateful people I have ever met. Based on some comments, it sounds like they are running a Ponzi scheme with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department. I finally drove it out of their lot with no air in the tire and put my spare on, and them and their employees watched me. They are absolute SCUM of the earth. When the devil went down to Georgia, he must've bred with someone and these people are the direct product of it. No reason to be so mean to someone. If the owners read this, I pray you meet Jesus before you leave this world. While those may have been the only options for me, you didn’t have to be mean and could’ve treated me with more respect. Hope you’re daughter doesn’t brake down out of state and gets treated like I did….

Woodstock location . Most folks coming into this place to get their car out of impound are not having a good day . We give u CASH to get our vehicles back , that is ur job. To judge my son and make snide remarks when u have no idea or obviously any empathy or concern about all my family is currently enduring is just not professional or appreciated ! U are the impound lot , not a judge . Yes, my son made a stupid mistake- he is human and not a "bad seed" . He struggles with autism traits and now suicidal off and on now alldue to being in the wrong place at the wrong time - and his life plans trashed now . Ur reps snide and rude comments that day were not helpful to our situation . I hope u or ur reps son or family never make any mistakes and then be treated as we were by your company . Return the vehicles u are paid for in CASH and quit harassing clients . We will never return there for sure unless forced to .

Towed my car when I went for help. It was off the road and only there a couple hours when they got it. They said the Sheriff's office notified them but no record exists of that call. They changed the color of the trucks to dirt car graphics. I would like to add that the people might not be the problem. The system has to be fixed before we blame people. That being said, it's our responsibility to administer the system as we see fit. The only way to make things better is to help out our neighbors and always be kind. I'm sure they cut us some breaks once stuck in the system but the anger is always directed at the people who are in front of us. The anger was really intended for the system and I hope the towing staff knows not to take it personal because it is just business and unsolicited business is the most frustrating of all. God bless us.

Not impressed. I wrecked my car and it was towed to this lot. I had a major family emergency and had to be out of town. I called regularly to tell them what was going on and that I was coming to get my stuff. Stupidly, I never wrote down the name of the guy I spoke with and they put no notes in the system of my calls. They swear they sent a letter, which I never received. I called today to ask what time I could come get my stuff and the car to be told it had been scrapped over a month ago. With over $2000 worth of camera equipment and a whole lot of other things. The man I spoke to on the phone was VERY rude and dismissive. Said there were no notes of my calls and that I was sent a letter in the mail before it was scrapped. So, basically, someone didn’t put notes in the system and continued telling me the car was still there with my stuff. If I hadn’t called, that would be one thing. I did and was told the car would be held until I got back in town. BE AWARE IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY. And make SURE you document and record EVERY SINGLE interaction with them. If I hadn’t been in contact, that would be one thing. Of course, since there were “no notes” in the system (conveniently) they stuck to the “we sent a letter”. Not certified, no phone calls, nothing. So they can swear they sent a letter that never made it to my house on top of the being lied to on the phone. BEWARE of using this “service”

I called Mauldin for a vehicle transport, and Valen was assigned. He was awesome! He arrived quickly, super quick. And was professional throughout. Super friendly and a pleasure to work with. Pricing was a little higher than anticipated, but what isn't? My vehicle arrived in one piece, and the interaction was personable and pleasant.

Rudest most disingenuous people I've ever dealt with. 500+ dollars for a tow. I suppose that was the county too, even though it wasn't impounded. There's a reason why people have a problem with your business. I hope people look into you before doing business. And to add another thing...you say you have pictures on file. When I asked for pics I was told by you that only the registered owner could take them. Such liars. In addition, I was not notified of the collision, nor was l ever given an option to have it hauled to me. I also never gave you or the Cherokee SO permission to let you touch it. Going to really enjoy our day in court.

Our teenage daughter was in an accident and Mauldin was the towing service the police contacted. They were helpful at the accident scene and explained the process to us. When we were ready to pick up her car since it was not totaled, they explained all the fees due and were exceptionally friendly when we got to the shop. They even asked us to call and let them know we made it home safely since we were driving a car with damage. I feel like a lot of the comments here are issues that can be avoided by being a responsible driver, asking the right questions ahead of time and getting your valuables out of your car before it's towed. This is a local, family owned business and you won't meet a nicer bunch of people. We had the pleasure of meeting a few of them while we were in the office. You can't even imagine the volume of crashes and emergencies they help with every single day! They are also basically ALWAYS on call. There is a lot to consider. They also deal with the headache of awful insurance companies for many people. We were pleased with our experience and would definitely use them if ever in need again.

Chad runs a tight operation and brings cheer to what could otherwise be a draining business. He maintains integrity by abiding to state standards for impounds, etc. and, like so many businesses in the new abnormal world, he’s subject to supply chain delays. While people might not like their circumstances, he should be considered as a trusted professional and not merely trying to make a “quick buck.”

Would not recommend Mauldin to anyone. I had a highway accident a while back. Police showed up and said we needed to get the car off the road fast. They offered Mauldin since they were the fastest. I said it was fine. So my car was taken to their shop for repair. And my car sat in their shop for a month and a half. Two weeks in I was calling them twice a day and they always gave excuses like "Everyone's out at lunch" or "I'm not the one that handles these things, please hold and I'll transfer you" (They usually hung up on me after "transferring" my call) Finally, after a month and a half. They told me the car was totaled. So they charged me for the towing, and tried to charge me the storage fee ($25 a day) I told them I wasn't paying it. They we're at least decent enough to understand that. Once I got my car back though I still needed it fixed since it was "totaled." I took the car to a mechanic I know personally, and he was able to fix the car with ease and I only paid $900. I would not recommend Mauldin to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them
