My vehicle was towed by Lakeland Wrecker to their impound yard in September after I was involved in a car accident. The tow truck driver was very kind to me at the crash sight and very helpful.
The two businesses share the same location.
The tow truck driver introduced me to Mr Dallas, and I decided to choose DAPB for the repairs. It was a great choice. I found their service was very professional and fair. They worked with my insurance with the details and were very thorough.
After the work was completed, I had become a little overwhelmed and needed help at my home with a challenge with the truck starting. Mr Dallas was very kind and came to my home and helped me solve my issue.... I am a disabled veteran and cannot do some things like I used to. I was also dealing with a broken rib and pain from the car accident.
I am very appreciative of the job well done and the extra that helped me with some peace of mind.
I do recommend both businesses. I believe and trust that you too would be in good hands.

There's a reason this company has been in business for as long as they have! Kevin was so welcoming from the very start! I felt like I was in great hands. The turn around time was quick. They are excellent at communicating & staying updated, which is rare these days. They were honest & transparent, even fixing things I would never of seen. Havnt used them just yet because still dealing with insurance but for estimates I was helped as soon as I walked in the door by the owner. Explained everything and even complimentary helped me fix my door enough to be able to at least open it until a full repair done. There are some decent small businesses in Lakeland still.
We are very pleased with the work done. Kevin was great and informative and when I didn’t understand something, he explained it to me. They fixed the damage, painted, and had the car back sooner than we expected.
Excellent work, very professional and reliable. I checked all body shops around since I was hesitant to take my Jaguar to just any shop. The appearance of this pleasure matches their performance. Could not ask for better, they are wonderful. My car looks like new, plus they washed the care in and out. I judged base on my visit for estimate, the appearance of the place and the professionalism of the employees before I intrusteted them my car, I was right. Even though I did not know my car was coming to you I am so glad it did. You cant even tell where you touched up the scratches, even more impressed there was no overspray inside or outside of the car. I will definitely come back to you if I need any paint or repairs done. Would give a zero. My car was in an accident and went to this shop. I told them it was pulling to the right. I was told that I hit a curb after the accident and didn't remember as well as I needed new tires. When I picked my car up, I noticed that the paint was not the same color. After driving my car off the lot, the car was still pulling to the right. Was told again that the car needed new tires. The tires checked and was told they were fine. After having a conversation with Dallas about my car, he stated he knew it was still pulling and didn't know what was wrong. He would always ask what he could do to make things right. I suggest he do the alignment over but was told that he wouldn't because it was done right. Doing one conversation with him in the parking lot, he decides to record and video our conversation. I left his shop and vowed never to return. My car was taken to a second body shop which discovered that the alignment wasn't done properly and immediately noticed the mismatched paint on my car. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this body shop.
There are not enough great things to say about Dallas Automotive Paint & Body in Lakeland. This is the second time they have worked on our truck (first it was a hail storm and second a deer hit the truck) and they are truly awesome. So professional, great communication and does a fantastic job. They are truly the real deal.
We just used them to work on my 04 grand marquis after my ol lady rear ended somebody and the car came back and looked great. I was told it was going to be difficult to obtain parts being the car is an 04 but they pulled it off and I’m very happy! Thanks to Dallas and the whole team!
Phenomenal place!!! I have been bringing my vehicles to Dallas and the guys for years! The service is always top notch, they do all they can to get everything for you from the insurance if you have an accident or anything like that and they do such a wonderful job and your car will look brand new. I've used Dallas twice now and they are best shop I've ever dealt with! 10/10 customer service, timely repairs, and you couldn't ask for better quality repairs! They are always very fair with their repair costs as well. I won't be going anywhere else for my car repairs!
This particular body shop exhibited the best customer service I have received since living in Florida. They were not only professional, they also did a fantastic repair job on my vehicle. They delivered what was explained to me before they touched the car ,and did it in the fastest time frame possible. I would highly recommend this shop for any body work you need!
I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. They have had my daughters vehicle for a month. They told me on Tuesday that on Wednesday all they had to do was put the front bumper on get a front end alignment and clean it. Wednesday came and I checked on it, they told me that after putting the bumper on they broke a clip putting in the fog lamp. Had to order it. Will be done on Thursday. Still had to put in fog lamp, front end alignment, and clean it. Not sure what they did on Wednesday. Don't need the fog lamp to do a front end alignment. Dallas told my daughter it would be done by the 8th or 9th and when I went to check on it he told me the 10th. He said he didn't tell my daughter those dates. Here it is the 10th and I'm still waiting for the phone call telling me it's done. I have to drive it to Indiana because that is where my daughter lives. I would never do business with this company or recommend them to anyone.
Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the work they did. The back bumper had to be replaced and when I got my car back they had cleaned it inside and it looked so nice. I recommend this place 100%
Dallas took on the repairs to my Mazda when another body work establishment did not do a very good job. He asked me to list everything I was concerned about and addressed all of those by week's end. He gave me a status update on a daily basis so I knew what was getting worked on each day. He insisted on making sure I was "happy" with the outcome of all the repairs and said if I have any issues, to let him know and he would take care of it. When I arrived to pick up my car, all the repairs had been made and my car was also detailed. Dallas and his staff did an excellent job and I trust them implicitly.
Couldn't have had my daughter's wheelchair van fixed at a better place! Dallas, Larry, and the guys were all very nice and made sure that it was repaired as quick as possible so I would have our only mode of transportation back! The work was excellent! Dallas made sure that it was test driven several times to make sure I wouldn't have any problems once I had my daughter in the van! Would recommend 110%!!!!!!

Dallas is such a southern gentleman. My car was towed to his shop after an accident and he was kind enough to drop me off at home on his way out. He then called me to update me on the plan and if any little thing changed. He went out of his way to get used parts to keep the prices low. He gave me a great price on the tow and I even got a discount on the rental I needed because it was being fixed at his shop. I am so thankful for him and his team.
Dallas and his crew were able to get my wife's Yukon back to it's original look and color with NO trace of the accident. In fact it looks better because of the way they buffed it all. They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a repair or a new paint job. The people are honest, they worked well with my insurance company and they do great work, what's not to like.
