First went in because clutch was grinding a bit when I disengaged the clutch pedal so they quoted me for a clutch job new clutch flywheel throw out bearing pressure plate main rear seal and told me after this your truck will be running good as new a week went by Dave called me to come pick up after I left work early to come pick up the vehicle when I got there paid them 1180 for the job went to start the truck to leave clutch pedal was all the way to the floor master cylinder that they put on was leaking but they claimed it wasn't leaking a hr ago when they test drove it and GRINDING NOISE WAS STILL THERE!!!! So Dave tells me to leave it and they going to check it out again a few more days go by and they say oh it's a shaft in the transmission alright change it more days go by I have to call to get updated because they stopped calling then they said it's not the shaft it's a seal so cool put it on few more days go by they called to come get the truck I get there and they try to feed me some bs story that my transmission is bad after they DONE tome me 5 different things and still having to pay for parts my truck didn't even need so unprofessional then proceeded to change more parts and didn't even fix the problem and made me pay for the parts the truck didn't need i will never go back to this place and will be filling a complain with the better business burial this place is such a dam joke !!!!!!!!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others. My elderly mother took her vehicle to Willie’s Automotive and Towing to have the air conditioner repaired — an essential need for anyone in Florida, but especially for seniors in the summer heat. After being charged over $1,000, the A/C still does not work.
Not only is this unacceptable, but the lack of accountability is also extremely disappointing. They had more than enough time and resources to fix the issue, yet she was left with the same problem — and a much lighter wallet. It’s hard to trust a business that takes advantage of someone vulnerable and elderly.
Please think twice before bringing your vehicle here, especially for something as serious as A/C repairs in this climate.

I called Willie's shop in a panic early in the morning with a flat tire and a lug nut/bolt issue. They not only calmed my nerves but also had my car ready the same day. True to their word, by the time the sun set, my car was good as new!
Their team worked like a well-oiled machine, patching up my tire and replacing the spindle/hub assembly with precision and speed. The service was so seamless!

So far so good having major repair work being done so as of right now I am happy with the service, they picked my car up and so far they have kept there word. Honesty is very important to me when dealing with businesses and they have been. Will see when I have to pick up the car. UPDATE: Picked up my car and the price way just what I was told before bring my car to them. I would tell all my friends and anyone who needs service to go there.

it’s been almost a year and my boyfriend went to get his car fixed here. 11 months ago and it hasn’t been touched.
They messed with the engine timing when there was an engine light. he never asked them to touch the engine…
He commissioned them to change the oil when he could’ve done it himself and even brought them the parts that they failed to get. They managed to put in a used starter and he got only 20 miles down the road; not even 24 hours or even making it back home.
They put a bandage on the issue and didn’t fix it.
Leading me to believe that they never took responsibility and reimbursed him. I even found out. They were very sketchy about giving him his vehicle back when he was willing to pay full price for this negligence.
These guys are scam artists don’t trust them with your vehicle & until I see some justice. Y’all know what you did.
I took my vehicle here because I had a slow leak in my coolant they charged me 80.00 to do a cooling system leak inspection. When done I was informed I had a blown head gasket and needed a replacement which is 2800 or a new motor 5500. Then the woman working at the shop stated if I wanted to sell the car she would buy it, she even put her husband on the phone with me who offered to give me 1500.00 cash for the car today. I left the business drive only 4 miles to auto zone where the employee noticed my car had a puddle of coolant underneath it, he also checked the oil and said there wasn’t signs of a blown gasket. I’ve been driving the car for two months 60 miles a day for work and not ever had a drop of coolant underneath where I park at work or home. I contacted Dave the person I was dealing with at the shop and he stated they did nothing to cause the problem and wouldn’t allow me to bring the car back for him to fix what they had done. I truly believe that they tried to get over on me to benefit their own needs. Do not use this company.
I worked here briefly and I will say they have a clean operation and good staff (a bit understaffed like everywhere else at times) but they are good people and didn’t treat me any kind of negative way. I was able to work at my own pace and fix cars properly instead of rushing from one to the next. Would recommend to customers.

I needed to have the alternator replaced on my minivan, they were able to get my car in that evening and it was ready to go the next afternoon. Fast friendly and reasonably priced. They’re my go to guys for car repairs now!

Horrible business, I run my own mobile mechanic business. I was called in under my own business name to swap a motor and wiring harness to catch Mr. Willie (Chris) up, a week passes after installing the motor and harness. I get a call from Chris, asking me to come to work full time. We converse about this and come to an agreement because again I have a business of my own to run as well. I was there a total of 29.92 hrs I turned 16.38 hours on the tools leaving a total of 13.54 hours of idle time. And only got a check for 590.92. Horrible business, business partner, cheap, throws parts at cars not knowing the real issue, just to get them out. Then after everything is said and done I told him just don’t call me no more and he goes on to tell me how I’m a freelancer and he had to go behind me on every car I worked on but never said anything to me before now about having to go behind me on anything. Just horrible.
I went to Willie's based on the online reviews I read previously. I was delighted by the service and communication that was given to me while working on my vehicle. We had some brake issues and later found out we had a wheel bearing issue also. Willie's made sure we were updated on the repairs and was notified when there was something additional needed via text message and an opportunity to accept or reject the recommendation to repair additional issues found during the inspection. They made me feel comfortable with the communication and the updates and I would recommend this repair shop should anyone need work done on their car.
I did not have an appointment but they were able to service my car. They were knowledgeable and friendly. They explained all aspects of my issue...including pictures. There were no hidden charges. They quoted me a price and it did not change. Excellent customer service! My car repair is not completed (defective part from dealership) but I would still continue to use them. Honest and reasonable. I was very satisfied with my service and would highly recommend them! Thanks Vincent...you were a life saver!

What a HORRIBLE experience i had. I had a brake issue with my chevy car, had a friend recommend willies automotive, ended up taking my car friday 02/02/24 which ended up being the worst day ever. From the beginning when i went to the store, it looked super unprofessional, no one had answer for any of the questions i was asking. they kept my car from 9:45am and supposedly worked on it till 9pm and got no where with fixing. which then they proceeded that he did everything he did and does not know what is the problem and that i need to get it towed to a dealership for them to do a diagnostic. Well since they are not opened on the weekend i had to wait till monday morning to get it towed, and when i had the dealership start working on my car, they told me that “whatever willie automotive did made the problem worse” WORSE than when i had taken it in. they did not correctly nor fully bleed my brakes out, they left a mess on my car of the brake fluid and willie automotive still wanted to charge me $250 for them putting in a new master cylinder that i purchased myself which they said they were gonna insert the old one so i could get a refund for the new one since willie automotive thought it was defective. I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE, ESPECIALLY WITH A CHEVY, NOT TO GO HERE. they will ruin your car more.
I came across this business as I was broken down, desperately searching for the first available tow. K Willie arrived promptly to the rescue and was so patient, knowledgeable, and kind that I decided to have my car towed to his shop. I am glad that I did. Willie and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and to repair my car in a timely manner. The cost of the repair and part was great compared to competitors, and their kindness and patience (I was a bit indecisive), was second to none. I highly recommend this business and I feel very fortunate that I found a shop that that I can trust for future repairs.

They took my car in right away, on a Friday! They performed the whole brake job in a couple of hours! My wife picked me up and we did a couple of errands and then I went back and my car was ready to go! They are excellent! Any place else I probably wouldnt have had my car back before Monday. I intend to use them again when it is needed. 5 stars! BRAVO!
First of all, I would have given them 5 stars if not for two things: 1) They are a little bit on the expensive side (though still comparable and fair), and 2) When they charge their standard hourly rate to diagnose and troubleshoot a vehicle, they don’t deduct any of that charge from the price of the repairs (which is what I’ve been used to). Aside from those two things, I found Willie Automotive to be honest, highly competent, professional and very friendly. I’ve had a lot of work done on an old Buick that I’m not quite ready to get rid of yet, and I’ve been extremely happy with the quality and speed of their work. I highly recommend them, especially if you’ve had problems finding an honest mechanic.
My wife takes treatment at the Moffitt center in Tampa on the way home we broke down, Willie's Automotive took our car in and fixed it the same day allowing my wife to make her next treatment. The owner and staff was very nice and understanding they done excellent work. We would recommend any one who needs Automotive care to come here they are the nicest people.

After backing my car into a trashcan and being devastated about the financial loss of paying for repairs; Willie's did a fantastic job of fixing it up! They were extremely kind, helpful, and flexible to my schedule. After the part arrived they fixed it as soon as I was able to bring the car in. Every employee was so loving and kind, we will come back next time we have a need!!
Brought a car here for an alternator replacement recently. The mechanic on the phone was very kind and helpful, and we were able to work out a fair price for the job and part. They were also able to perform the replacement the same day. My only complaint is that I was told to come back at a specific time , but when I came back it wasn't done, so I had leave and come back again an hour later. Granted the place is very busy, and I am frankly surprised they got it done that day. Also front of house seemed to not want to talk to me for some reason and seemingly ignored me for a while when I was there . Overall, good place, head mechanic was kind and my alternator issue was resolved.
Not my first time here. But they got it wrong this time. Even when I took it back. Not happy with them now. No thanks on your suggestion for the repair. As I said on the phone, I’ll do it myself. I know how to fabricate and make things work. I’ve been doing it for over 40 years in many different situations. You don’t turn out a product that is not correct. When it rained inside my truck I knew we had a problem. Your fix was incorrect. I will not be back again. Twice for the same problem is enough.
brought my 2016 elantra in to repair a. c.I was diagnosed to have system evacuated refilled with r134a. quoted price for that service was 300.00 an paid the 300.00. After about an hour later they approached me an told me i needed a ac compressor. Cost of part an install would be 800.00. Didn't have the 800.00 to apply for the compressor so i left an didn't get it done. 2 weeks later brought it to one of there competitors who pulled code from vehicle p0532 which is ac pressure switch. had it installed an refilled with r134a an replaced o rings for less then 160.00. An AC has been running everyday since repair. With 8500 miles put on since repair. Its always good to get 2nd opinion. By the way the diagnosed came from owner an another mechanic.
