Although his crew was very busy Mr Carter saw to it and made sure that my situation was handled quickly and professionally and I didn't have to wait two hours to get my business up and running again. Spent over $1500 and they did not fix all that was supposed to be, (that was on the written estimate) only took off half of an hour labor and kept my truck for a week. Will never see me again!
I've had few cars repaired of past 25 year all over coast. I'm usually a DIY person but I know my limits and know when I need to take my car to repair shop. Carters auto repair are few and far between. there is not many high quality and honest repair men anymore left out there. I've worked in service industry for 30+ years and this shop is A+ , 5 Star , Premium. I have been all shops in Nassau County and they all want to pick and choose the easy repair work and say it will be 2 to 4 weeks for repairs because they don't want to do the work or give a outlandish Price $$$$$. Great Customer service Old Style. which no longer exist in this fast paced society we live in today. Well worth the money even if you pay a little extra.!!
Excellent service, I was traveling from FL To PA. Has flat tire, very stressful moment, google showed 4.9 stars for Carter auto repair. Stopped by to fix it. The owner was very pleasant to talk to, involved his workers to take care of my car. Fixed it right away. After meeting such a great person. My street came down. Carter Auto is definitely 5 stars, I can’t agree anything less than that.
I highly recommend these guys! Brought my truck in for an AC issue and a wheel bearing problem, and these guys had both of these issues 100% fixed in just one day! They were very professional and punctual, and I never felt they were trying to up-sell me or get me to agree to repairs I didn’t need. It’s such a relief to find a mechanic shop I can trust. You can’t go wrong with Carter’s!
Great service and superior professionalism. I purchased some shocks online for my F250 and they put them on for me. Actual labor time came in 30 minutes less than estimate provided and they only charged for actual labor time.
