This was my first time visiting AutoZone in Nassau County, Yulee location. I spoke with Store Manager, Randall, on Friday about wheel bearing hub assembly for my vehicle. He was very helpful in the process and have found my new place to go when I need anything. Thank you 🙂
Very friendly and educated personnel except a female employee that was yelling and being verbally abusive to the guys attending costumers. She was very unprofessional yelling at them in front of 4 customers. The guys were ashamed and they remained silent and very respectful. She should go to Anger Management camp.
Make it make sense:
Auto parts stores charge a $22 core charge for old car batteries when purchasing new ones, which is a refundable deposit, in order to encourage people to return old batteries for proper recycling. That’s the entire reason why you pay that fee.
Why then would it matter what form of payment the money is returned to when you bring those batteries to the store to dispose of them? I had a receipt, but my husband paid for the batteries with his debit card from the same bank account. The store refused to give me the deposit back, forcing me to leave with the batteries and return with my husband’s debit card at a later date.
At the time that I was returning them, I saw the screen prompt the cashier to override and give a cash refund, but she said that they are not allowed to do that.
All that aside, when I arrived, the store had just opened and three associates were present. I asked for assistance, and the one employee did bring me a cart which I then lifted both batteries onto the cart and pulled the cart in myself. Whatever. Then when she refused to process the deposit back to me she basically just stared at me for minutes. She wasn’t rude, just unhelpful.
I also had a concern that the start stop alert on my dash hadn’t disappeared, but they couldn’t help me with that either. When I decided that I obviously wasn’t going to be helped, she continued to stare at me and I had to open the door myself pull the cart out and unload the batteries myself. I am no princess, but I am surprised at the lack of courtesy from a profession that I generally perceive to be full of hardworking and courteous individuals.
My husband will have to return these for the deposit back and I will not return again.
Ive been to many auto parts stores in the past and genuinely this place is awesome. Every time I've been in the employees were polite and incredibly helpful they don't treat you like your stupid and are happy to walk you through it if you don't know how.
Went back in January literally the first of the new year and i needed sparks and coils and Shauna was a huge help! Got me squared away with all i needed, and got my car running right again. And she was in again today with helping me get some bulbs. Super happy with the customer service this store location provides. Can’t say that about everywhere. As long as i live in the Yulee area i will come back to this location.
The best place to get all your automotive stuff. Thanks Mr. Andy for installing my battery in my Jeep Gladiator and got me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. I stopped at 4 other stores similar to AutoZone and they all gave an excuse or just refused to install the battery. AutoZone also gave me a 4 yr no questions asked warranty on battery nation wide. Again Thank you Mr. Andy you are the definition of customer service !! AutoZone definitely has my business l.

The staff were so friendly and helpful-even with a busy store and only two employees that I saw, they got me a new battery and installed it within about 20 minutes.
I went in for battery cleaner. A guy that was at the counter told me that he would clean it and I didn't need to buy the battery cleaner. He came out and cleaned it for me. He was very nice and I appreciate the help as a fellow a woman who doesn't know anything about cars. Great customer service 👏
The older gentleman with glasses, Mark, was an incredible help to me today. He had a great attitude, and when all the registers were busy, he made a big effort to make sure I didn’t wait long. This isn’t the first time he’s helped me in this way, and it should be recognized. He has a great knowledge of automotive systems, which is a rare thing in his field of work. Five stars for Mark. That guy needs a raise.
Nervous key fob was blinking red. I would be caught somewhere with key which couldn’t work bc I procrastinated a new fob battery. Auto Zone couldn’t have been nicer. Had battery of correct volt, looked up my make/model, replaced it for me in 10 minutes. Very appreciative and thankful. On to my next errand and now I can find my car!!
Ive gave them 2 chances, the first time I wanted to return ball joints that don't fit control arms I purchased from autozone, I was told they probably don't fit cause my truck was lifted. Needless to say my truck isn't lifted, they seemed shocked. Today, I went in to buy brake line, 2 lengths of 3/16 with standard thread fittings. Paid, went home. Was given 2 lengths, one with standard thread fittings one with metric fittings, beyond furious since I didn't double check and bent the line into shape an can't return it for the correct one, I'll admit that's my fault. I should have known better and double-checked everything before I started.
Corey provided excellent customer service and was extremely knowledgeable. I was traveling out of town when my check engine light came on. I was 5 hours away from home and panicked. Corey performed a diagnostic and explained the issue. Corey assured me I could still drive and make it home. I was so relieved and made it safely. Corey made my day and it was great to encounter such a pleasant/professional individual during my time of need.
Amazing assistance from Mark and the AGM/Manager, whose name I did not get...on 2/14/2024 @ 12:15 pm. Thank you for the new batteries!!! Y'all were awesome!!!
Had to buy a new battery after old one expired 3 weeks after warranty expired. Sales associate put new battery in and had sparks fly. A few days later I noticed I had no low beam headlights. Went back to store and asked what might have happened and the sales associate was very rude. He said there was no way changing battery would blow out the low beam lights. It cost me $85.00 to replace the lights. And yes, if not done properly, the headlights will blow!
I received personal, friendly advice and service. I was impressed by staff's sincere interest in helping a senior widow. I will not hesitate to return for all my auto needs.
The night shift crew at this store on 11/2/2021 went above and beyond helping us. We ran into an object that punctured the left rear tire and we happened to be near the store and parked. Avery was the employee who directly helped us "revived" the tire. Even though it's not his duty to patch a tire, with his persistence, he handled the job and even lend us with his personal spare tools. These guys deserves beyond recognition for the customer service we received. Thank you gents for a well done service!
We came in to get a new battery for our truck and we’re a little short handed with the tools we needed to do the switch.
James was able to help us out and switch the battery. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and fast! We were out of here in no time.

They had a new employee that had some difficulty installing my battery. He just needs some more training time and he will get up to speed on everything. The employees are helpful and courteous.
Once again I’ve had a great experience with this location. I’ve been coming to this location for almost 3 years now. I’ve never had a bad experience. Everybody has always been polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. There is a huge difference in going to an auto part store of this caliber and almost any other one I have been to. They are worth the drive and James and his team always exceed my expectations. Thank you all for your help!

I want to thank Teddy for helping me get a new battery today! He was so nice, he explained the difference in the different batteries and was honest about me not needing to spend more money then I needed to. It was refreshing to have a salesperson who was concerned about the person and not just the sale. He even put the battery in my car for me, Thank you so much!! Monday I bought a new battery for my Mini Cooper and Gary was so professional and helpful. He installed it for me with a huge smile and wonderful attitude. Highly recommend this place!👍
I went in yesterday needing help and info on changing a battery. James, the store manager, was super friendly and helpful! He even had some great tips to loosen the battery terminal. I eventually had to lug the old battery in for help removing that terminal. James was, again, helpful and friendly, even making conversation with my kids. Plus, I learned AutoZone price matches! Would definitely recommend for any car care needs!
Teddy was absolutely awesome he fixed my battery cable that's been shorting out an arcing and causing me to stall while driving he took his time and did an awesome job and he even got my check engine light to go off it's been on for 2 years no kidding Matt and Teddy are awesome I highly recommend this AutoZone...... went down the road to the other place Advanced Auto and the guy asked me if I knew if the red was positive or negative stay away from that place
The staff is knowledgeable and kind. They changed our battery after checking it. Recommended the warranty but did not try to sell us more than what we needed. I asked about the next battery up in price and he told me we didn’t need that one and explained why. Most places would have tried to sell us the more expensive one.
