These people are the best! Small, honest family business that is so rare in our day and age. They do incredible work for a fair price. I have been getting car repair work done there for at least 30 years!
Had a major repair done on my only vehicle in an emergency. They completed all repairs within a few days I was back on the road. A few weeks later I had some follow up questions and wanted my vehicle inspected which they did for free to put my mind at ease. These folks are a true asset to the community. Thank you so much!
This is a follow-up on the starter I had replaced last year. I just got back to VA from our annual trip to Sebastian and the car is still starting great with no issues over a year later. Just wanted to say that I am still pleased with their work and would recommend Sebastian Auto and Repair Center to anyone needing service for their vehicle.
They helped me when i blew a metal brake and needed the vehicle in 2 days to move a trailer load home goods across the state. Tha nks to the staff for working in a desperate position .
Sebastian Auto & Repair were fair and honest. I was on vacation from Virginia when my starter went out on us. Before leaving on our trip I had some issues with our '08 CRV starting. I had the battery replaced in VA and everything seemed ok through about half way to FL. after being in town one day, the car wouldn't start, or turnover, just a click. I called Sebastian Auto, told them I thought I needed a starter and got a quote. I also let them know I was on vacation for a couple of days there and they said that they could probably work me in the same day. I had the car towed in. They called me to let me know it had arrived and were diagnosing the issue. I receive a call back from them letting me know the starter was the issue and they were in the process of removing the old one so when the replacement came in they could go ahead with the install. I got a call later that day saying that the car was ready. When I came down to pay, I found out that they had been in business for over 40 years and that was a little more comforting to me. We got back to VA a few days later, I checked with my mechanic on the price and their price was in line with his. That was almost a month ago and the car is still starting strong. Thank you to these folks for getting us back on the road the same day and for not swindeling an out of towner. So, if you're looking for an honest repair shop, I would recommend Sebastian Auto & Repair Center.

I was in Sebastian on Vacation and had an issue with my Fan Belt / Pully system. I dropped it off and they had me up and running the next day. They were busy but worked me in so I could get home. Extremly nice people and very fair with their prices. Can't say enough good things about the experience!
I had a/c repairs a couple of years ago. Great price. Excellent work. A recent electrical job was referred to the dealer. Any other future repairs will be done by them
It's a family owned business with years of experience under their belt. They are friendly and reasonably priced and honest and stand by their work. They will try to help you in any they can and I believe that when you leave there that you will be satisfied as I have been and will make them your place to go to with your car concerns, like humans your car deserves proper care and for me that's the place.
Pep boys said I need to get my brakes changed soon. One year later I come to Sebastian Auto & Repair Center for the work based on local’s referrals. The mechanic lets me know that the brakes are fine and to come back in a year. They knew I was coming in and that I was expecting to pay out my nose for this work. Good on them for being honest.
When I moved to Sebastian over 30 years ago I asked around for a reputable mechanic shop. I was recommended to go see Karen at Sebastian Auto. Repair was made correctly on my truck for a fair price. Been going to them ever since. Karen, Brian and his brother Tony are the real deal. They have referred me to other shops for repairs they didn't have the specialized equipment for like front end alignment or work on my Class C motorhome. Some of these people that have left ridiculously negative comments are few and far between and would complain about being hung with a new rope as it would chafe their neck on their way down.
I went in for brake service ... Left with squeaky brakes after being told I needed brakes and rotors.. Brought it back 3 more times and supposedly the brake pads were replaced... Very unpleasant Karen at the desk!! Brought it to a more reputable auto shop... Come to find out they put on very cheap brake pads that were suppose to be premium... and never changed the pads from the first time! Very unprofessional and inexperienced!! Do not recommend this shady shop!
These guys are solid and extremely fair which in my experience is a rarity in the auto repair industry.
Had them look at a newly purchased Toyota T100. They were polite, thorough, and very fair with pricing.
This is such a breath of fresh air, old fashion honesty, quality work, on time repair and maintenance. I would not go anywhere else first. If they can't fix it they will try and recommend who could, generally for specialized work. Prices are really low to fair. My car is always clean when done, not like some others that mess up rugs, seat, windows. Try them🙂

I've been coming here at least 20 years, and so has my family. I won't trust my car to anyone else. I know I'm safe when I leave here.
I'm actually getting all 3 cars done this week for their oil changes, and one car also needed a wheel bearing fixed. They found an oil leak I didn't know I had, showed me where to look to keep an eye on it, and gave me a few options to fix it when I've got the time.
My last car wasn't in the best shape, so it needed work often. Once, I brought it in for something and they said, "This isn't a big deal, it's just a fuse... I can fix it but I can't take your money for something like that. Here's what to do to fix this" and he showed me how. THAT'S HONESTY!!!

I went to make an appointment but things were backed up for next two weeks with repairs. But as luck would have it i was able to get my car repaired on the same day by 3 o clock. It really nice to be able to have this done. I received a very friendly staff memeber to me
Relatively good experience. Took my car here for an oil change, to have a check engine light looked at and a "trip check" before driving my car from Florida to Iowa. Probably the only time I have ever taken my car in where they didn't recommend $100s of not really necessary fixes.
Sebastian Auto Parts and Repair is the most honest and straight forward auto repair store I have ever dealt with. Recently, I asked the store to check into everything under the hood, change the oil and check the brakes. They did exactly what I asked them to do, said everything else was fine and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment.
My review deals only with customer service at this point. I had an appointment to meet a family member here to drop off his car, and I was going to drive him home and leave the car. The family member had a personal emergency and couldn't bring the car. Instead of losing my appointment and rescheduling, the owners were very understanding and allowed me the time I needed to make other arrangements to bring the car in, thereby saving my appointment even though it was over an hour later before I could get the car in. That's great customer service.
Seriously one of the best auto shops I’ve ever been to. No high pressure sales. No “unnecessary” needed repairs. Owners are nice and courteous. Very competitively priced for all products and services. They really make you feel like you are family.
A dealership said I needed a new serpentine belt, transmission fluid flush, and brake flush for $560. Decided to look around and glad I did. I dropped my car off expecting to get a belt and transmission flush because the extremely friendly, above all honost staff, said that most likely I didn't need the brake fluid done but they would take a look. When I returned to pickup, I was told all fluids were fine and just the belt was done for almost 1/2 the cost as others I called. I will be returning here from now on for everything and telling others in need because of their honesty and friendly service.
I went to Sebastian Auto for the first time based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. My truck had a coolant leak near the water pump, which I assumed was the problem and would have to be replaced. The problem turned out to be a simple broken hose clamp that was promptly replaced. In today’s world of uncertainty it is refreshing to know that honesty still exists. The entire staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The repair was done promptly, properly, honestly and at a pleasantly reasonable cost. They gained a new customer and I will be bringing all my vehicles there from now on. I highly recommend Sebastian Auto.
I just got my car repaired and everyone was wonderful, especially Rose. It's Friday afternoon and I thought I would have to wait a week for an appointment to see what was going on with my brake system, but they had the part and put it right on at a very reasonable price. Fast, friendly, family service. I'll take my car there from now on and will suggest their business to anyone... thank you Sebastian auto! You guys are awesome!
When it comes to Auto places, you never know what the price will be or if they will actually fix your vehicle. Sebastian Auto has always been great to deal with and very fair prices. They fixed my Husband's truck in a timely manner and had the best price around by at least a couple hundred dollars. My parents have been going to them for over 15 years.
We've been getting all our cars fixed here since 1991. Great family attitude, great prices, and very efficient at getting repairs done. They don't fool around and always let you know everything they are doing before they do it. Highly Recommended. I think we've had everything under the sun fixed there and always great results. They only made one mistake in all those years, but they took my car back and fixed it for free! I feel comfortable always taking my car here. Notice they are always slammed with customers even though there are two other shops within a block. Goes to show the work they do.
