Such a cute place, filled with beautiful and unique hand-made and antique vendor booths. There's a cute tea room at the back of the property and a little shop next to that which sells all sorts of gourmet foods (salsa, jams, candies, etc.), art, clothes, and more handicrafts...a little bit of everything. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back when we're back in the area
I visited for the first time after some renovations were completed. What an amazing spot this continues to be. How they incorporated so much local artists is impressive. The plants are beautiful and reasonably priced. I'll continue to support these guys.
It's fun to browse thru the shops, it's unique and pretty organized. Haven't tried the tea room yet but looking forward to it. Love the garden center the plants are so healthy and beautiful and Hannah is awesome and very knowledgeable. The little general store is cute, hope to see more old time merchandise added. We always find something we want. It's fun to look at the artist room and see what's newly created. I like the comfort of shopping at your own pace and everyone there is so pleasant and helpful.
My name is Mike King and I've lived in Lutz since 1972. My watercolor paintings are in an art gallery, Lutz Whistle Stop Depot, at 100 4th St. NW, Lutz. It also sells antiques, gifts, jewelry, flowers and a lovely tea room. You won't find the commercialism of big box stores here, so drop in and be pleasantly surprised.
I visit this store weekly and always find something new. There is so much to see you could stroll through the rooms for hours. The purchases I’ve made hold memories of the kindness of the vendors who helped me find the perfect pieces for my home.
I found a perfect furniture piece at the Whistle Stop to serve as a bar table in my home, and the staff was super helpful, not only offering a discount but also helping me carry it out the store and load it onto my truck. I really appreciate the great finds, reasonable prices and friendly staff and look forward to my next visit!
This used to be one of my favorite antique shops… the vibe, the energy, the way everything felt like it had a story. I’ve been to antique shops all over the country, and this one stood out every time. But after the renovation, it went from a real antique experience to looking like an interstate gift shop. Kinda sad to see something that special lose its soul like that. I decided to give it two stars because at least the staff was nice.
I’d love this place and I plan to go back. Great little antique shop with separate areas for different vendors. A grouping of small buildings, including a nursery and a Tea Room.
What a delighful place! We drove past the first time but then decided to stop in on the way by the second time. So glad we did.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming right from the door. The first stop is a well organized and delightfully decorated vendor store with a nice variety of items, old, new and hand crafted.
Then you exit to quaint 'village' with a sweet tea room, gardening area and general store. All are just as delightfully put together with staff that treated us like they have known us forever. There was a little play area for children.
The whole experience was enchanting.
Don't drive by and miss your opportunity to experience this one.
I've driven past Lutz Whistle Stop Depot and never thought to pull in. Wasn't sure what to make of it. I am glad that I did. I think everyone should swing through here at least once just to check it out, even if shopping is not your thing. LWSD has a nice comfy feeling when you walk in. Everything is for sale, and there are multiple vendors who sell on the property. Behind the main store they've created what I can best describe as a little town for shopping. There is a general store of sorts, a fancy tea room, and an area that sells plants. I was pleased to see a steady flow of customers, though it did not feel crowded. I would definitely bring the whole family back here for them to check it out.
Stopped by the Lutz Whistle Stop Depot today. It was a nice little spot with multiple vendors that showcase their items with a cool garden and general store in the back.
They have a lot of decorative dishes, glasses and figurines. It had an art gallery and plenty to shop around.
There is a nice little cooler by the general store that has a lot of good soda pop and inside the store has a lot of local items. Nice and relaxing.
Stopped by the Lutz Whistle Stop Depot on 07/13 when I was in the area from Ocala. What a treat - a must shop! Lots of unique home decor merchandise and one-of-a-kind gift items from artisans and local small businesses. #shoplocal
I recently stopped in with curiosity because of all the cars I saw. I found out they have NEW owners. I met her and she was very welcoming! I love how they have in their business card: Family owned - Community Minded.
I enjoyed seeing all the local vendors art creations! I bought a lovely pair of earrings!
Nice people,but nice people doesn't equal nice things. Sorry antiques are 30 years plus not crafted goods. I for one like antique shopping this doesn't qualify as an antique store.
Must visit this wonderful place! There is something for everyone. Great place to purchase a gift for someone or a new collectible for yourself. A must see! Take time to browse around. Don’t forget to visit the General Store and the Tea Room that is also on the site.

I came across this shop by chance and I could not have been happier! I was on the lookout for an MCM side table for our living space and found the perfect table at a more-than-reasonable price. I love thrifting/antiquing and typically these types of shops are chaotic and difficult to sift through - but not the Lutz Whistle Stop. This location was beautifully kept, SO clean, and each “booth” had its only personality. Ryan, the owner, even went out of his way to help me locate what I was hoping to find. Not only are you getting access to a great spot with wonderful owners, but right in the back is the cutest little greenery and general store with homemade jams, pickles, etc. I really enjoyed my time here and will be back!
Outstanding in every way imaginable! I just love the feel of this place and Deb and team are so incredibly kind. I've furnished a good portion of my house with rare finds from her store. She displays everything so lovingly and sells very unique furniture with craftsmanship you just can't find anymore. If she can offer you a better price on something she will, and she always seems to know the back story on every item she carries. Great, great little shop if you like antique furniture!

Seems like a real cozy and friendly place. Lots to look at. Has a tea room and general store. My kids went to a group tea here while I lingered in the area. Staff was friendly when I came to pick them up and helped me find my loved ones. I had a egg salad (good) and chicken salad (great) sandwhich they didn't eat. My kids really enjoyed the tea service and would highly recommend it.
Simply stunning, every room is an unique find. That backyard is an oasis of wonder and joy. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and even bought some of their homemade candles and soap. Wish we lived closer!
This was my first experience having afternoon tea and it was beyond amazing! Everyone was extremely attentive and accommodating. The tea was exquisite and the food was simply divine. If you're looking for a great location for a bridal shower, princess tea party or just tea with a good friend, this is what you're looking for!
