Fantastic store. This advance auto parts store is spotless and well organized- the floor was so clean and polished you could probably eat off of it… , The management has pride in their work here that I just don’t see much in recent years at any store. I had one of the best customer service experiences here today that I’ve had in years. I was buying some simple items, not even that much money.. it was so impressive that I am taking time out of my day to write this review. Folks, Go out of your way if you need a part to this location! Kudos to the manager on duty today.

have a serious complaint regarding one of your employees. On April 1, 2024, I had an issue with an employee named Chelsea White (skinny, blonde, long hair). I am a frequent customer at this store and have never had a problem until this incident. After working a 13-hour shift and driving 33 miles, my truck broke down directly at this 7-Eleven. I only needed to briefly borrow a basic tool to remove my battery so I could walk to the store and purchase a replacement. The employee refused and stated that allowing me to use a tool would be considered stealing, and said she would call the sheriff. I felt the response was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. AutoZone nearby provided the tools without issue. I removed the battery, returned to this store, purchased a new one, and then walked back to replace it. Customer service in this situation was very poor, especially considering I am a loyal customer. This experience has caused me to stop doing business with this location. Employees should be trained to handle situations like this with more professionalism and empathy.

My car battery was dead, a soon as I arrived to the the GM of the store tested my battery, provided me the diagnostic and he removed the damaged battery and installed the new one. Best service ever!!!

I needed a battery for my Tacoma. I had a $22 credit so I decided to use it at Advance auto in Lutz. Isaiah helped me out picking out the battery and installed it in no time at all. Isaiah was very knowledgeable and fast. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Thank you Isaiah.

Thank you to David and Isaiah for an outstanding customer experience this afternoon. I had an issue with an error light for a third brake light while driving and pulled into the dealership but they could not do anything until an appointment three days later.. A friend had recommended this Advance auto parts, and she did not steer me wrong. They greeted me right away listen to the issue and helped me to get the right product and the right help… And no doubt saved me a considerable amount of money. Thank you so much David and Isaiah for being so friendly and the bright spot of my day! Great service, great value!

I stopped at the advanced auto store # 09337 while traveling and I had to get a new battery. Isaiah P took care of me. He was well versed, experienced and extremely polite and helped me in my dilemma. Replaced my battery for me which was above and beyond his duties. I am very grateful Sincerely A

Went in for a battery for my key fob. The staff has a difficult time opening the fob, and a worse time putting it back together. They even dropped a spring on the floor and were unable to locate it. My fob is now taped so it won't come apart. Not a good look. I thought they'd (at least) give my a discount. NOPE! Will not be returning.

Great experience at the Lutz location on SR54. The young man (Isaiah) who installed a new battery for me and also helped me understand what was going on with the other indicator lights. Very knowledgeable and nice young man.

Went in last week, purchased a new Die Hard battery. I called first spoke with Isaiah, we decided the Die Hard was the best choice for my circumstance. 15 minutes later Isaiah himself installed my new Die Hard Gold, cleaned the cables real good and added some corrosion protection. Isaiah is a very nice kid, good listener, hard worker and had excellent social graces. Give him a raise, he made Advance look real good! Thanks Isaiah

Absolutely amazing staff. My car started overheating just before this store so I pulled over into their parking lot. Turns out my engine coolant hose had a plastic piece that snapped. Stephen the GM was amazing, helped me identify the part and while sadly wouldn’t have the part in until tomorrow, offered to order it for me as well as gave me the part number to purchase at another auto parts store as well. My dad thankfully had a friend who works at another auto parts store got him the part to help me replace it, but Stephen was so so kind to let me stay inside the store to enjoy the AC while I waited for my dad to get here to pick me up. I would 100% absolutely recommend them for your auto parts needs! The hospitality I received when I was down on my luck was so so appreciated, and I hope they continue to receive business!

Best of the best☺️. The owner Stephen was an amazing help. I come here constantly cause my car likes to fall apart on me and Stephen has helped me gather the information I need and parts to the exact that will last me and are worth the price. He’s honest, hard working, and has great customer service. I really do appreciate it all and am not scared to ask questions cause I know they will be answered!

Hello, I went into this Auto part store for some air filters I needed for my car and Steven was able to go above and beyond to assist me with our automotive needs. And I also needed new wipers and he made an excellent recommendation to save us money. Thank you, Steven, for the excellent customer service. I will definitely return again to this store in particular. The service here from all of the staff, not just the manager, makes a difference! Whatever you all are doing please keep doing it. We appreciate it.

Variable pricing I guess Off brand china fuel filter $40 paid here. Went home, found a WIX for $15.00 never again Advance. I knew better than to trust you again. Returning the filter tomorrow.

I have been coming here for the past 17 years and I am happy with the new Manager Steven. He is a pretty sharp guy and is very knowledgeable, customer focused and friendly. Every time I have visited for the past month he always has pretty good tips for all my cars to help keep them running tip too shape. He is a good hire and wish him good luck in the Lutz store as in the past the previous managers were not forendly.

Walked in about 1:09 pm, asked the older gentlmen if they had hydraulic oil filters, he asked for a part number, unfortunately the one I had did not have any info, he said he couldn't help, I asked if we could pull a couple out and maybe match it up, he said no, try NAPA,......Absolutely no effort and didn't even bother asking what it was going on. SO, unless you know the exact part number they apparently cannot help you and try NAPA. Was in and out in 1 minute.

Such a wonderful staff! Went in there today to get new windshield wipers and a new steering wheel cover. Chris offered to help put on the windshield wipers and went above and beyond to help put on the steering wheel cover as well. So so so satisfied with our visit today! Thank you!

There’s a skinny white lady at the register that radiates negativity and disinterest, and makes it apparent she does not want to be there. I come in asking for help for a code reading and while asking, she’s fidgeting with a bottle, and looking at everything but my face with a look of pretentiousness and judgment - it genuinely looked like she was on drugs and I had to stop talking until she would stop distracting herself. She gave me the generic answer saying I just needed an oil change, but I let her know I just recently did one and that the problem was battery related as it said from the car dialog screen. Anyways, she was extremely unhelpful and the only helpful thing she did was refer to the Autozone across the street where I received monumentally better customer service.

I don’t write reviews often! But I feel the need to here. I have walked in to this place at times and it literally has a bad vibe to me it’s crusty on the outside and when you ask If they can help with something the answer always is well did you buy it from here. Like relax I come here when I need anything and yall can’t help with one small thing that takes 2 seconds. so anyways I ended up going 2 mins down the road to Autozone and they helped me put in my battery without asking if I bought it there or anything I even had a amazing conversation with the gentlemen!! He even told me to bring the battery back to the place I got it from because it looks like I’m still under warranty. I will forever use Autozone now. To think I spend so much money here to be asked constantly if I bought it there is baffling to me. Not only that but I literally got a battery for my car at another store for 183$ while they are charging 240$ get the hell out of here.

Been to many Advance Auto and most of them are really good and helpful but I noticed at this location not so ..been there like four times in the afternoon or early evening and customer service really downhill at the store. I will just give some example.., I bought spark plugs there and asked can they check the gap on them because they might be off.. they said they’re not allowed too .. that’s a first .. .. the other time they said the machine not working so they can test my battery or alternator and I’m like OK .. Ask questions don’t seem like they have enough knowledge to answer at that location. They don’t really know how to answer your question or really want too .. That how it seem .. Only did a review so Advance know the problem there .. Will have to go to a different location now on or some other store then Advance whatever closers for me

Purchased Freon at a different location, but I ended up not needing it. I live next to the store and came back with a receipt and the original product in perfect condition. Because I paid with Apple Pay, the store computer declined it. Instead of giving me cash on a debit purchase (which is cash anyway) they told me to take my product back to the original store (30 miles away) because the head boss at the store instructed staff to not do cash returns from other stores. Despite customer service indicating that this is not their policy when I called. Very disappointed, I am out about $43 for no reason. Funny how stores don’t follow the guidelines and rules that corporate has assigned. Will be buying at Walmart or Amazon from now on, they make the customer’s life so much easier. (And less $)

Their shop came in “clutch” today. Had the rotors I needed desperately, and worked hard to get them to me so I could get back on the road. THANK YOU, David! You rock.
