The Advance Auto Parts in Lewes, Delaware has excellent customer service, as well as competitive prices. I was very impressed that minutes after I placed an order, the local store contacted me with availability information, and I picked the product up the next morning. It is rare these days to find a retail business that is attentive to its customers. I highly recommend Advance Auto Parts.
Rain Was Coming, I hit my wipers, and the rubber insert split in half ! I ran to Auto Zone. The dude explained the difference in wipers, I paid, and then the Gentleman put them on for me ! EVERY Woman's hero !!! THANK YOU AUTO ZONE.
had to visit this store today for a new battery and the overall service was OUTSTANDING. The associate RAY who installed the battery went beyond to make sure things where done correctly. The in store ladies where also wonderful and very helpful. If you need car parts i highly recommend this business!
First I want to say that everyone working the day that I was in Advanced Auto was super helpful and very friendly. So I'm from Pennsylvania and we were in town on vacation and my daughter's boyfriend's power steering pump went out, now he did replace the pump approximately 2 months ago, Nancy and Chris were helping in every way possible, we borrowed tools and bought some tools. We replaced it right in the parking lot because I figured if we ran into an issue we would be right where we could buy or get right from the store. We installed the new pump everything seemed fine but when we started to pull out the o-ring on the pressure side blew out. So we had to replace that.Well for that I needed a line wrench that's when Nick Reese pulled in, he made a joke about something and I said if you have tools in that truck he said I do, he does roadside service so guess what he was a life saver. Thanks to Nick Nancy and Chris. And Advanced Auto they had everything we needed for the repair. It was raining by the way and Chris had a tent set up for battery testing and allowed us to just pull the front end of the truck under to keep the rain off of us. Big thanks again!!
Me and my wife had the batter light come on vacation. The friendly stauff checked our car and confirmed that it was the alternator. They suggested Reese Auto Repair to repair the alternator. He came to us. Thanks to Advance and Reese for getting us back on the road and safely home on a Sunday!
A very good auto part store where lots of help is available. The manager will go out of her way to assist you. I purchased new high-quality windshield wiper blades, and even though it was snowing, the young lady behind the counter, Amy put them on my car. You can't ask for better service.
They said they could sell me a battery but wouldn't install it.
Didn't explain why.
Girl was rather rude.
I won't be going back here and will share my poor experience with friends.
If I could give them 6 stars, I would. The two people who helped me went above and beyond in trying to help me with fixing a flat tire for my bike. One of them, which was Christopher, went so far as to take his time to put some Slime into the tire and later pump the tire without charging me anything for the service. This is the best Advanced Auto Parts I have been to so far.
I have used Advance Auto Parts for many years and take advantage of online ordering, discounts, and store pickup. You can save some money and time by doing this. Recently needed wiper blades for my Toyota RAV4, they had the front wiper blades but not the rear. Ordered front wiper blades for store pickup and received email confirmation that the wiper blades were ready. Went to store for pickup and they couldn't find my order and had to pull my order again. Not a big deal, but I lost the time savings I expected.
Had the unfortunate experience of my windshield wiper flying off while driving in the pouring rain. Luckily I was near this store and went in and they were able to help me with purchasing a new wiper and they installed it in the rain with absolutely no problem all smiles!!! Thank you Chris and Nancy for making my day.
I appreciate having this place close by. I can drop off oil for disposal. I've bought polish, wipers and touch up paint here. They do battery replacement.

It's a blessing to have a decent auto parts store much closer to home. The workers are laid back and know everything about the vehicles I've questioned about. I've spent quite a bit of money in that store due to location convenience.
Went in with a flat that I need a quick solution for until I was able to get to the tire shop. Luckily they had an employee who asked me if I need help. Recommended me a product and sent me on my way all with a great customer service attitude. Always great feeling especially with places you spend money at !
Change battery took me all day with you guys! I ordered yesterday battery, came this morning at 8:30 to pick up and for install, lady said I don’t have nobody here, come back after 12 until 9pm, we gonna do that and I will be here! I came back at 7:30 pm, and there was two new employees, said we can’t to help you!!!! What’s that? To come 100 times or just find other place!
Every time I go in there I have to wait forever for service. Today I had enough. There was only 2 customers in there and 3 people working. Even though they recognized I was waiting no one came over or even recognized me. This place is laziness at its best. Everybody waiting for someone else to wait on the customer.
Great service, even when busy, friendly and helpful. Bonus, open all weekend as I had to go there twice. Once for a battery charger for my truck, then back again on Sunday to have my 2 batteries (yes, 2, it's a diesel) tested and replaced. It was great to get everything fixed over the weekend.
Our rental cars wiper blades were so not working it wasn't even safe to drive the car. We stopped by and the team found us replacements for all the blades.
Thank God we did because the rain ended up being horrific on the ride home but the new blades kept us safe and with great visibility the whole 4+ hour drive on interstates!
Not only would I not hesitate but I would driver out of my way to use this location again. Excellent team on the evening of Saturday, November 24, 2018.
Today we decided to go to the beach as a day trip. Our battery died out and it completely killed our mood. Thankfully some good Samaritans helped us get from wawa to Advanced Auto. James Nielsen helped us get a new battery and put it in for us and helped lighten the mood with laughter and totally turned our mood around and made it a wonderful experience.

Came to have my battery tested and Justin was amazing to deal with. Very patient. We noticed I had extensive corrosion on the terminal and he helped all he could to get me running and the help I needed to get it fixed while on vacation. Thank you.
