As a first-time vendor, I had a wonderful experience. The environment was welcoming, and the support from fellow vendors was truly appreciated. A special thank you to Birdie for being so supportive of my business—she was truly great. I look forward to returning tomorrow and continuing to participate in the future. Below are before & after pictures of how I did today.

The flea market is in a stone parking area lot. Everyone sets up their wares and sells them. Organized.

This is a fun spot to stop and put around. There is a good range of vendors here. My wife andI have found a lot of fun things here and prices are very reasonable.

The flea market opens up at 6 AM.Half, the vendors weren't even there to me.If you're supposed to open app at 6, they should be there when I used to go there in the past, all the vendors had to be open at 6 o'clock. Why has the rules changed. You definitely gonna lose customers this way.

Has lots of parking for only $2, things you can buy are mostly set at low prices. Tools to clothing to sneakers. Friendly and good atmosphere.

Having been coming here to this flea market since I was a child I no longer come here and I can not and will not recommend anyone to spend there money here because the inventory is completely uncertain and you honestly don't know where it is coming from. I also do not think it is right that you collect money for parking do maintain the property and have not done anything to improve it. If the owner wants to respond to my review like you have done to everyone else saying that what we all say is wrong that is fine I am not going to feel offended and I personally don't care what you think because I have the right to speak up just like everyone else. Please do not try and contact me because it's you that has the bad attitude and needs to get some help in running your so called business where everyone is just trying to make a living. Grow up and Good Luck!

Redwood is a treasure trove of deals and steals. I have been going for roughly 40 years and it never disappoints. Jeff the current owner is a stand up guy who takes care of the property, the vendors, and the customers. New, old, vintage, antique, obscure, MCM, militaria are just a few of the categories I shop and Redwood never lets me down. Keep up good work. Happy to pay $2 to help keep this place running.

Passed the flea market while stuck in bumper to bumper. It was pretty easy to find once you get off at the next exit. Come early, by the time we showed vendors had started packing up.

The redwood on good days they get a decent crowd definitely better then new haven ,and not as good as elephant trunk ,but it's close and u get there early. U can find some good deals but me personally if u go towards the end of the days bc it goes Friday Sat and Sunday so if u go Sunday around 11 u can find things cheap bc nobody wants to pack it up if they don't have to. And it's cheap to get in it only costs 2 bucks for parking that's it or u can look for free parking but I pay the 2 bucks just in case something happens it can b under them and the old man they pay to watch the lot. But I always fund cheap tools or things I collect or things I know I can clean up and flip anyways a cool place to walk around for an hour or 2. Anyways once again if u find my reviews helpful in anyway come back drop a like or give a comment it goes a long way. So get out and enjoy the things ct has and always support local businesses bc it's ct s backbone

Great selection of weirdos, freaks and occasional great finds, small very walkable lot. Best flea market in South Central CT Reply to proprietor - my point is that weird is good . A flea market without a little weirdness is just a sterile gathering of antique sellers. A certain amount of funk is precisely what makes a song danceable, a red wine memorable and a good cheese worth paying $25 a pound for I enjoy the hard working people of redwood community. I embrace the diversity and far reaching ideaologies represented here- many of which I do not personally jive with- but it's what makes Americans Americans. Without funk and weirdness we'd just be a bunch of boring stuffy European based stiffs. If I want that I'll go to Austria.

Mediocre flea market. $2 parking which is a joke. For the most part it's either junk, fake from a foreign country, or over priced. Sometimes you get lucky and find something decent. ***EDIT*** IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Your parking lot is dirt and rocks. The flea market grounds is dirt and rocks. Please let me know the upkeep costs on dirt and rocks. And the upkeep costs should be coming from vedor fees. Not the people that come.

Great variety of items for sale. No admission charge. $2.00 for parking. Great stuff that is hard to find. Collectable. Tools, a good place to spend a few hours. Bring cash because you will find things you need or must have.

Pretty nice flea market, they gotta get rid of the Pokemon guy though and stop "giving him warnings". It makes all the other sellers look bad. But if you are buying boxes of Pokemon for $20 a box when you know they are selling online for $150 and you don't realize they are fake, then you deserve to be duped. If they don't get rid of the pokemon guy, I won't be going back.

Love it! There are "regulars" who are always there. And occasionally some "newbies". But there's always a bargain to be found. My only complaint? They're supposed to be open until 3, but a lot of them start to pack up about 1:30. Get there early.

First time going. It was pretty fun. I didn’t find anything but I’ll have to come back occasionally and I expected that. $1 parking was good. At least 50-100 vendors. Friday is antique day. The only thing I can comment on is there is still (see older review) a vendor who is selling fake Pokémon cards. I was curious if he still was so I purchased a $1 pack and they were definitely fake. Not too difficult to spot them, and luckily I didn’t spend $100 on them. Buyers beware ? Otherwise a very fun time!

THIEVES! I was a vendor there June 2020. First thing out of the gate at 4:30am I was swarmed by “dealers” that were frantically rummaging through all my boxes while setting up. I kept telling them to come back and they continued to rummage with flashlights in the dark. $1,500 in sterling proof coins, STOLEN! Over $2,000 in tin type photos STOLEN! Told the “owner” about what happened and he was unfazed and offered no apologies or indication that he would be mindful of such activities moving forward. I drove 2.5 hours as it was during the height of the pandemic. In addition, there was no mask mandate enforced even though it was an executive order and people were dropping like flies at that time. 2/3 of the vendors sell garbage and the other vendors are so bored by 1pm that they try and buy your stuff extremely cheap so they can place on their tables. NEVER AGAIN

This was our first time going and we get there bout 430 am we set everything up. And by 630 there was 4 other vendors. We couldnt believe it. But it actually turned out alright we did bout 300 in sales in a few hours then it started to rain and by 11 we were done but not to bad for our first time was fun. And met some cool people and I actually sold alot so I'm happy hopefully I can change to 5 stars once we get the full experience. And I also bought a bunch of thing found some awesome deals. This is a def must when its 70. 75.

Great place to go for a part of the day and find some good deals on an array of things from tools, foods, shoes caps just to name a few. People or vendors are usually very nice and seem to appreciate your business. Have fun hope you make it there.

A great place to shop for new items, tools, antiques, groceries and then some! Can hold close to 100 unique vendors on the property and different vendors are always setting up. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all year long (yes, even in the winter). They have a large, adjacent parking lot for free parking as well as a restaurant on the premises, which serves great food.

Great year round flea market with new and used goods. Dealers spring to fall fill the place and winter is smaller group of dealers. Find it all from toys, tools, video games, collectibles, clothing, furniture etc. Best to shop once sun is up so you can see what your buying. Flashlight shopping has gotten me to buy items that i would not have if seen the true look of the item. Bring cash! ATM on site seems to run out on days

Always a busy spot, great and wide variety from antiques to brand new stuff. Some vendors sell fresh produce etc. Worth a stop by to check it out. There's also a little breakfast joint on the premises that has great food for a good price.

Waa enjoyable to get out today and search all the treasures there. Look forward to coming again. I did not go to the food stand. My daughter and my sister did. The only comment she had was the fries were good but the stand needs upgrading.

Based on 1 visit in July: This market was more like a multifamily yard sale, only a few vendors offering new goods for sale. Some vendors lacked tables spreading their items on the ground. Parking was ample and free. Restrooms on site. Open year round so maybe fall/winter offerings would be better.

I was made to park here by Nucor steel plant. I waited from 2:30p.m. to 7:00p.m before they even called me to get in line for the scale. Absolutely ridiculous idk how they expect you to make money with these ELD's now. They have ruined the whole trucking industry an I hope everything collapse's now.
