Wallingford Auto Center has been amazing, especially with the new management. The people who work there are so kind and easy to talk to, and they really make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. They explain everything clearly, never rush you, and always make sure you understand what your car needs. Their prices are very affordable, which is great, and their mechanics do excellent work that you can trust. It’s clear that they care about their customers and want to help, not just make a sale. I’m really impressed with how much better the place feels now, and I’m happy to have a shop I can rely on. I definitely recommend Wallingford Auto Center to anyone who wants friendly service, fair prices, and good, honest work.

They had a vehicle I was looking to buy at a fairly good looking condition and at the reasonable price. There were no gimmick, no BS, we came to an agreement quickly and a year later I am still driving it, 2012 Mazda6 without any issues.

I recently visited Wallingford Auto Center, and I’m so impressed with the changes under the new management! The new owners have really turned this place around. The customer service is friendly, honest, and professional from start to finish. Their repair team is top-notch, they explained everything clearly, worked quickly, and the prices were fair. My car runs like new! You can tell they really care about quality and keeping customers happy. They’ve also got a great selection of cars on the lot- clean, well-maintained, and reasonably priced. It’s clear the new management takes pride in what they do. If you haven’t been here in a while, it’s definitely worth stopping by. Wallingford Auto Center is now my go-to place for all car needs, repairs, maintenance, and buying! Highly recommend!

New management is way nicer than the old management! 10/10 was completely honest with all of their cars, that they advertised and was very happy with my new (used) car!

Very unprofessional I went an got my car fixed after I got it fixed they said cash only an wouldn’t give me my car ….they should of told me cash knly from the very start an I would of taken my car somewhere else ….never will I go back here again sketchy place I would not recommend to go here simple as that……I’m editing this after they commented no internet… I promise you there was an there excuses was the guy fixing the cars is a separate business even though they are in the same building …. Liars buy at your own risk I wouldn’t recommend

I will start off by saying Amit was awesome. I wouldn’t do business with the mechanic or owner. Purchased a car 5/8/23. Prior to purchase complained about grinding in the breaks. Mechanic said it was normal cause it was sitting for a while. After further complaints, Amit drove it and somehow convinced the mechanic to change them. I was given the car with 15% oil life, and the little oil that was in the car was black. At first I was told that the oil life percentage doesn’t mean much, until I offered to send pictures I took of the low amount of oil/ color of it. Also should note that there was a problem with the starter and I had to push to have them purchase the part. Didn’t even bother having their mechanic install it due to their reluctance to address the issue. I would like to mention that today, on 6/12/23 I have to replace the 2 break pads they didn’t replace and all 4 roters. Overall it’s a good car, but the mechanic and owner will try to scam you if you don’t stress the importance of the issues. Editing to add pictures- while replacing my roters on 6/18/23 we noticed the very poor condition of the calipers. My husband did not take a picture of the rusted roters prior to replacing them. Switching my review to one star due to this major safety issue. Should be noted that the breaks had issues and was something that was listed as a concern prior to purchase.

I bought a Subaru Forester from them. Although, they assured me head gaskets were good, it started leaking oil and coolant just 2 months after I bought it. Now, I am quoted 3k to replace the head gasket. I am pretty sure they knew about the condition and I was naive as to trust them, without having an independent mechanic check the condition of the car. Now, I am not sure whether the car will last long enough to worth the money the other shops are asking for repairs. Update: I called them and they wanted me to come in to see if they can make a bunch of extra money to try and fix the problem, the vehicle came with (which I don't trust them to do a proper job with). By the way, the vehicle is still leaking oil. I would be a happy customer if they could offer to trade-in this vehicle (+ cash if needed) for a reliable another car (let's say, with no external head-gasket leaks and rust, probably a Toyota). I will wait to see if I get that offer. Until, then I downgrade the rating to a one star from the two stars that I gave them before.

I bought Honda Civic 2010 in 2017. Their service was excellent. It’s a great car. I have driven this car almost 80K miles. I haven’t had any issue since 2017 to Today, I did only regular maintenance. Thank you!! Wallingford Auto Center

Amit was helpful and straightforward given the short time. In a matter of a few days, my father and I inquired the price for a car he listed late last month, do a couple test drives, and purchased the vehicle. We were made aware of a faulty parking sensor and gave it a few more days before picking it up to have it fixed which Amit had no problem covering the replacement and repair. I've been driving it almost daily for the past couple weeks since and had no issues and my father also noticed no huge issues. It was great that this all worked out in a short amount of time. Couldn't thank Amit enough.

I recently bought a car from here and it was absolutely worth the price. The customer service was excellent, all the paperworks went very smooth. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and families.

They will sell you rotted out vehicals that have plain sheet mettal not welded in stuck under the carpet i had a ranger for 24 hours and got headaches from carbon monoxide getting into the vehical i would not recoment you evan bother looking at vehicals here

Such a shame! I expected MORE from a dealership! They got a trade-in which I test drove, but it had a check engine light on - they refused to let me drive it down to Auto Zone and have them tell me what the code is. By law, they cannot sell a car that has not passed emissions and they didn't want to deal with a hybrid car with a check engine light on - THEN they told me that they didn't have to fill out a DMV Registration form! So I had to make 3 trips to DMV, one trip back to them to fill out the correct paperwork and THEN I had to bring the car in for emissions testing. They said if I didn't like it, to bring the car back and they'll return my money. These people should be reported to the state! I AM DISGUSTED BY THEIR BUSINESS CONDUCT AND PISS-POOR ATTITUDE NOT INCLUDING SELLING CARS WITHOUT EMISSIONS AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS!

This post is a year late, bought a car from them last May, had it for one month and we had to replace the engine. Be careful when buying, be sure to have your car checked thoroughly before purchasing!

I bought two car, both were in excellent condition. Location, staff behaviour, car choice, pricing everything was perfect. If anybody want to buy used car at best price, I recommend this place for them.

I bought a car from here the other day and nevertheless the service was fantastic. The salesman was very friendly and helped me get through the process easily. And my car is running so smoothly, I love it. Definitely will come back if i need another car

Awful and unprofessional. Went to look at a few cars the other day. A very nice kid came out to try and help us and talk to us. He kept getting rudely interrupted by another worker while trying to talk. When we asked if we could take the car for a test drive we were not allowed to because the other worker( who kept interrupting the one helping us) took the dealer plates on a car to go to a doctors appointment. We waited to see if we could take the car out later to only find out the one we wanted wasn't even driveable at the moment. It was a giant waste of time. Very unprofessional and kind of sketchy.
