Im bummed I cant remember the man's name that helped me! He was the nicest , most helpful Auto Zone employee I've ever had help me, and I've been to many. My back right tail lights were out. I procrastinated because the ladt time I went to the Netiden location , they refused to gelp me and i had a difficult time with my headlight. Anyways, all of a sudden the store got super busy , he answered his phone because it was his boss out delivering, with one hand , putting in my lights with the other! He dudnt leave me in the lurch and tend to his other customers like most would have , he completed my replacenenr and wven had ne double check the light was working properly! What a kind, awesome, employee and person, which I really needed to restore my faith in human kind. He was working the Sunday shift at 4:00, on 12/27, I hope your boss recognizes you!!! between ??
Went in there one time and immediately after I walked in with a group of friends a black gentleman tried saying he knew what we were doing, and that we were going to attempt steal product from the store. So what can people not just be normal nowadays. never coming back advanced auto is better anyways

Got laughed at by an employee just because we wanted to check the vehicle with the service they provide. Mind you it’s their job as an employee to provide best costumer service for whatever reason. I understand in some cases they can’t do much but this particular guy and his lack of understanding is something they should take notice of. I was denied a service but i specifically said I need to check everything. (And it’s a free service). The guy that agreed to check the vehicle didn’t want to do his job and you can see that from the beginning of the interaction and was unable to be professional in this situation. Instead of mockery he could have been professional and still offered other services. This interaction left not only I but my mother as well humiliated and dismissed. I strongly believe this behavior doesn’t represent the professionalism customers should experience from this autozone employee 8/25/25.
Clarance is always a huge help whenever I visit AutoZone. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure customers get what they need. I came in looking for a new battery for my car. I was immediately greeted by Clarence who was extreme my helpful. He showed me the batterys available at the store & informed me of the best deal. Then also helped with installing the new battery. He saved me so much time! Everything was so quick and easy. Thank you Clarence, many blessings to you!
The younger guy at the counter was incredibly rude. When asking if there is a charge for diagnostic he said obnoxiously "yeah of course we don't do that for free". Luckily there was a different gentleman behind that counter that stepped in and helped explaining they do offer code reading for free. I guess the first guy isn't capable of differentiating between words that regular customers may not be well versed in. After he ran the codes his explaining was not clear and I asked if it was safe to drive. I understand that question can't come with a concrete answer. But his response was, "well if I shot a gun in the air there's no way for me to tell where the bullets going to land". I wasn't aware there's a connection between cars and guns but apparently that's the analogy this guy feels would make sense to a customer?? Happy to take my business elsewhere and not deal with rude, unstable people who make gun references.

My wife called the store and asked about wiper blades and if they would install them for us. On the phone said yes then once we arrived the manager stated he was uncomfortable installing them on my car. The manager was very rude and cannot be taken on his word. Very bad customer service!! We will never do business with this Autozone again.
Maybe just an off day but one of the gentlemen at the front desk was unpleasant, sarcastic and demeaning. I intended to go to this business for help on an auto part due to my lack of expertise and he was oddly passive aggressive about my lack of knowledge and a multitude of unprompted suggestions even including I learn more and additionally told me as a “women” I should do better…just an odd interaction and a very areogant employee.
The other employees were helpful though and went the extra mile all while the other gentlemen did not leave the front desk. Will never go back and would even put in a formal complaint if I knew his name.
Came in yesterday during the snow storm for new wipers & had the pleasure of Alberto being the one to help. From the second I walked through the door to the second I drove away, his customer service was top notch. He maintained patient regardless of how many questions I asked. He made a suggestion that was more affordable and was honest with his sales. I didn’t even have to ask the kid to put my new wipers on for me… he offered despite it being freezing and snowing. I’ve worked sales for 15 years and have held manager roles.. and employees like Alberto are a dime a dozen. The guy was genuinely happy to do his job and be at work.
Silly me turned my wipers on after the ice this week. Wiper ripped off on passenger side. Went to Auto Zone and received wonderful service. Clarence put the new wipers on for me, and told me I wasn’t alone in doing that! Thanks, Clarence. You made my day better.
Mike and the two gentlemen working New years eve at around 4:30 pm were more than helpful, they went above and beyond their "job duties". In today's world where people step back and say it's not my problem, Mike at autozone and his coworkers did not do that, they helped when they saw I needed assistance. I am truly grateful. Stay humble and kind because when I walked in, they didn't know I just buried a family member and am spending New Years eve alone for the first time in 48 years. I just wanted to make sure my children got on the roads safely tonight so they could go to work. Thank you to tonight's gentlemen who were working.
Clarence and Eli are wonderful. They changed my battery, helped me buy air filters and made me feel at ease. I greatly appreciate their hard work and kindness. It was my first time visiting and now know where to go in the future.
Old man up front was more interested in eating his Mcdonalds and trying to upsell me instead of trying to offer me help. Felt very unwelcome.
Went to OReilly 2 minutes down the road and they helped me immediately, and helped install the part I needed.
Called up while in a hurry, Clarence was a gentleman while I fumbled to remember the exact model I drove. Once in the store, he came out to help me make sure I was correct, then did all of the leg work to get me everything I needed. Calm, knowledgeable, and personable. I’ll gladly drive from New Haven back to Wallingford for his guidance
I would like the store to know what a great experience I had with them. It’s stores like this one, a woman can really appreciate businesses such as this one. I needed a battery for my car. The staff all were polite, personable, knowledgeable and so helpful! I didn’t get the name of the technician but he was wonderful!!! The manager and Clarence were just as wonderful! This store is one of the best auto zones I been too. Great staff, very knowledgeable and polite. I had to get a new battery for my vehicle and had no idea where to start. Luckily a gentleman by the name of Clarence had helped me. He pointed me to a great value and also helped me install the battery itself. He was super quick and efficient. This is now my go to AutoZone!!!
Auto Zones are always busy places with every staff member either on the phone or helping someone, so there's almost always a few minutes of wait time before being helped. As I walked into this store, a gentleman carrying floor mats and not in uniform started helping me as we made our way to the counter. By his knowledge and demeanor, I assume he was the manager going above and beyond, working on his time to make the store work. They had the part I needed in stock, and a few minutes later, I was on my way. Very efficient, and very pleasant staff at this location.
