I wish I could give 0 stars. The only reason I used them, was because my insurance company sent them. The driver picking up lied and said he couldn't get in touch with me for over 30 minutes payment overage of miles. He never called at all. Then dropped car off and said nothing to anyone that it was at the shop. Just drove off. Horrible

Darrell’s Auto Service & Towing deserves 10 stars! —After experiencing a severe oil leak while traveling through the state, I called their towing line and was picked up incredibly fast. Upon arrival at the service shop, Darrell and his amazing staff of master mechanics treated my stressful situation with quick, professional, and family-friendly care. This team flat-out knows their stuff. You’re the man Darrell. Though I don't reside locally, I will absolutely be bookmarking Darrell's Auto Service and highly recommending them to my network in the ‘203’ area!

Amazing service from start to finish. The tow company took great care of my car, and my driver Spencer made the whole experience even better. He was super friendly, easy to talk to, and one of the coolest guys I’ve met. The ride to Springfield was smooth and enjoyable thanks to him. Definitely appreciate the professionalism and good vibes. Spencer deserves a raise for the way he treats customers!

I had a great experience with Darrel's Auto Towing. Terral arrived quickly and was friendly and professional, and he handled my car with care. I was really stressed about my tire but he let me know everything would be fine and it was. Highly recommend them and Terrel if you’re ever in need of towing services!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible customer service. I was assigned this company by my insurance company and I called the gentleman to give him specifics about my car and where it was. He was immediately combative and even went as far as telling me I had zero common sense because I dropped off the keys to my car at the mechanic myself. He was insanely rude and cancelled my tow. I wouldn’t call this company if my life depended on it. I work for an insurance company myself and they should be ashamed.

Review for towing - even though the situation I found myself in was pretty gnarly, these guys were great. Responsive, fairly priced, and respectful.

Darrell worked on mine and my husbands van recently and he did a great job he has worked on it once prior and also another vehicle we had and happy with the work everytime. Will forsure be back and highly recommend his shop.

I was assigned this company through Ford Roadside Assistance for a tow. I have an electric car which wouldn’t shift into neutral and needed to back out so I expressed some concern about what equipment was needed. The person on the phone said “we know what we’re doing” and when I tried to politely clarify my concern he said “we’re sending the job back” and hung up on me. He was very rude and impatient and now I’m waiting in the cold for another tow provider. Totally rude and unprofessional. If this is how they handle a question about a tow I can’t imagine how they’d deal with a bigger issue. Stay far away from this company if you want to be treated well.

Great experience. My insurance company dispatched Darrell’s after 2 previous companies failed to fulfill our request. We called in and spoke with someone expressing our urgency for service as we had an appointment to get outlets tire fixed and would be late due to the other companies failing to fulfill our request. Darrell’s said they would get someone to us as soon as possible and they arrived ahead of the estimate. Once the tech got to us he took care of the situation quickly. Got us on the road and to our appointment. Many thanks for a quick response!! Will look to seen them again for future auto needs.

Words could never express the gratitude I have for this business! I broke down on 91 they towed me in , diagnosed my problems for nothing and fixed my car in less then one day! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DARRELLS AUTO! My entire family will now bring all our vehicles here. Thank you very very much! Very professional, intelligent, and honest! The best of the best! The dispatcher was very rude, and combative. I asked if the driver can give me a call when he arrives at my car so I can meet him. The dispatcher told me" if he remembers I asked him why he can't just relay the message he said" he might be busy". He asked was there anything he could tell him. I said "for him to just give me a call" he canceled my service for tow. Geico should not contract this company

Avoid this tow service at all costs. From the beginning, the dispatcher was rude and unhelpful. He told me this well versed line saying he can’t control traffic, weather patterns, etc which he thought absolved him of any responsibility. Despite waiting for 2 hrs, I received no ETA and was told it would take another 90 to 120 minutes when I asked again. When I pressed a bit, the dispatcher told me to "kick rocks” and canceled my request. It's clear they overbook jobs and make customers wait for unreasonable amounts of time. Save yourself the hassle and choose a more reliable service if possible.

Deffinatly my go to mechanic, always does amazing work and they do it quickly! I'll never use another mechanic. Their also very good at communication so theirs never any surprises, they make the stressful situation of having to fix /maintain your vehicle smooth and easy.anybody looking for a mechanic they can trust to do great work and be honest I can't recommend Darrell's enough!

Josh was an amazing driver. He made every attempt to help get my car right before we decided to tow. I made a last second change of address and he was super willing to make that accommodation. Thank you Josh and Darrell’s!

This is one of the best company which has responded for our road side assistance through geico . We were stranded on a highway after a tire blowout at 6pm and all tire shops were about to close . Luckily there was one exact tire in a nearby ship for which Cody from Darrell’s auto services was very courteous enough to pick us from highway and purchase the tire before the shop closed by 7 . Removed the blown out tire and replaced with wheel balancing all within 2 hours even when the shop was closed . The service was absolutely phenomenal going above and beyond for customers . Highly recommend this place .

Terrible customer service. Had them assigned to us through our road side assistance. Got a call from them and they claimed they would have to call us back. We didn’t receive a call back for 30minutes so we called them. Person we spoke to claimed they “forgot”. It seemed like as soon as we answer the question of where were wanted to be towed (not to their garage) we were told they had 7 before us and laughed when we said we were stranded on the highway. Called back our roadside company and got paired with a much more professional company.

Had a young man come and tow my car. Very pleasant and professional. I had already waited more than two hours for AAA. Darrell's came in less than a half hour. Very interesting discussion about cars. Excellent experience. Highly recommend.

BEST SHOP AROUND...I can't express my gratitude enough!!! This place is AMAZING & EVERY staff member was knowledgeable and highly educated to solve the issue with my car that 7 other shops and 3 other mechanics just couldn't figure out. Yes, it took 3days but listen, my car is up and running and they even checked & topped off fluids, wiped down my car so there was no prints of grease everywhere. Should have just came here in the 1st place and when I tell you the price was reasonable... I spent more to get my car back from ppl that couldn't fix it. Amazing team and if you come here you might just meet Dexter the friendlest fur helper ever! P.S. he likes Bumm Rubs & Treats.

I’m a Dasher dropped parts off for Darrell one of his workers was very friendly told me to go to front entrance to drop off part because I was in the back of the shop I guess. Nothing but good people friendly and quick service he signed for the part . Told me to have a nice day. Thanks Darrell . People do not listen to negative reviews about this business. There a good shop and do great work. People are just miserable because there life is miserable. This is a great shop in my eyes and good people. God bless Darrell your Dasher Chris

Car wouldn’t start and called other tow truck companies with the estimation of 45 mins- cut to 1 hour + a phone call later and they said it’ll be another 45 minutes. Called Darrell’s Auto Service and Chris R. came to the rescue 11 minutes later. Phenomenal service at a cheaper price than its competitors as well. I couldn’t recommend there’s services more- 5/5!

Chris was the tow tech that picked up my car, at my home. He was courteous on the phone,very prompt , and extremely professional. The fees were given to me up front. Paying was very easy, via credit card, right in my driveway. He asked all the pertinent informationsuch as nature of my problem, my personal information obviously, and who a contact would be where I was having the car sent. I told him and He obviously got everything correct becauseHe obviously got everything correct as there was follow through at the the tow destinations that received the car. My boyfriends car got a flat on the highway, the state police had it towed to here. The communication was terrible, the phone operator gave NOTHING but attitude because he was “working on his day off.” They gave me the same money amount 3 times that I was to pay. Finally after I paid THE SAID AMOUNT they STOLE my change and tried to come up with the excuse that they “knocked off” $70 because they had to use certain equipment that we had no control over. The business is an overall horrible experience. -7/10 ☺️

I had a great experience with Darrell's and their staff. The owner called me to inform me of discounts that were available even after I was fine with the price. As a woman going into a repair shop, I felt very comfortable and was very informed on what repairs my truck needed. They made sure to explain the process of the repairs, why they were doing it, the benefits of it, and the cons, if I didn't do it. My father owns a mechanic shop back home, so I had high expectations for a mechanic shop since relocating to CT and they nailed it. Very professional, great operation and great staff. They treated me like family. I'm definitely returning #LifeLongCustomer

Took my 2013 chevy here the whole time I had it. Always provided excellent service and would show me exactly what needed replacing on my car or repairing before doing it. Got myself a 2018 honda, and the other day the battery died. I called Darrell's, and even though it was a Sunday and they were closed, Chris came out within the hour and was able to get my car up and running. Great place and excellent service. Will continue going here for all of my vehicles!

After waiting 4 hours to be towed with poor communication and customer service from my insurance Allstate, Brandon made the wait almost worth it. He went above and beyond. Friendly and just overall great experience. Thanks again! I will also be reaching out to speak with his boss personally!!!

2 weeks ago my motor in my pickup truck finally died and I was in need of another motor. I found Darrells auto sales and repair online. I read some of the reviews and decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did, Darrell sent a flatbed truck,towed my truck to his garage and within a week I had another motor installed. And it runs very good and I'm very happy with the job he and his staff has done with my vehicle. I found them to be courteous and attentive to my needs. Their price was basically what I expected to pay for the job. In short, I will be calling on Darrells for all my repair needs in the future.

Darrell and his team are excellent and trustworthy. He is very knowledgeable and will tell you the truth about what needs to be fixed and will try to save you money as well. I am very happy with this garage and thankful for their help. My fiance and I have been taking our cars to him and he's always been willing to help and give advice. I would recommend them to anyone!
