I unfortunately had to get extensive repairs on my truck. I could not have brought it to a better place. Both the tow truck driver who picked me up and the service department are excellent. I will never bring any of my vehicles anywhere else. I am a master mechanic and I have never let anyone touch any of my vehicles ever. I had to this time though... I am not disappointed. I Will more than likely let Plaza do more of my work for me. I would highly recommend them to anybody for mechanical work and/or body work.

From Dispatch to the Driver they were so friendly, very fair price and prompt! Would absolutely recommend them for your towing needs.

Excellent experience. I was in an accident a few weeks ago. It just so happened that one of the workers was a witness. He called and had my car towed to their shop. We just got it back Monday. They did an excellent job and it looks better than it did before. Tony worked with us and was very pleasant and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had purchased a used car and replacement engine with intention to DIY it, but time and skill was not available so we brought it to plaza. Service advisor Tim was very communicative throughout the process, giving us multiple options and costs each step of the way. He took the time to explain the what and why about everything. Then after replacing our engine for us, we had issues with it unrelated to their work, again Tim gave us the run down and his recommendations. Then one more time we had issues related to the original issue, again Tim got us in the same day we called him, giving us the run down again. Tim and the whole team at plaza made sure to take the time to genuinely listen to our concerns and issues. A big thing I had noticed was that my wife was the one to drop off the car the final time, they took her and what she said seriously. I will be bringing any vehicle we have to the team at plaza and recommend others to as well.

For anyone who reads this. Please fully read. I had a few broken exhaust manifold bolts. Broken to where they needed to be done by someone that knows what they’re doing and has experience. Talked to Chris I believe, asked him for a bottom line price for the 4 bolts out of the 8. Since I was a tech for years before I understood that was the minimum with no other bolts breaking and needing extra time which would be extra money. Requested what day I can drop it off so that way he can get it in the next day(some places let it sit on the lot for 2 weeks before they touch it) Dropped it off Monday night, called on Thursday to see if they had a chance to get to it and was told it was done and they just needed an extra 2 hours since a couple more broke. Yeah long story to read, but these guys are honest and will tell you a bottom line price to start and it could go from $300 at the beginning to a few thousand if things don’t go the right way. Just be patient and let them do the work. You get what you pay for and I’m going to bring my truck back to them soon to diagnose a few things for me and repair them. Thank you guys.

Plaza Service offers excellent customer service and is highly trustworthy. They handle our fleet of 10 work vehicles going in 10 years now. And they have done an excellent job. Thanks Plaza for keeping us on the road!

Plaza went above and beyond in helping me when I had an accident. Would recommend them to anyone. The whole staff is great to deal with. They are an honest and compassionate business, which is a rarity.

The team at Plaza Service Center has taken care of several towing and vehicle repair/accident needs for my family and me over the years. As a woman, this can be an intimidating experience, but I have ALWAYS felt great about working with the Plaza team. They communicate clearly, review all estimates and figures in person and in writing, and have helped me navigate the (awful) experience of dealing with the insurance company of the driver who hit my vehicle. Their work is great, it's completed in a timely manner, and always professional quality. It's an added benefit that they are a local, family-run business serving their community. I would always prefer to work with a company like Plaza than a large corporate chain. Thanks for everything!

Another tow, another horrible tow service! I called ahead on a Sunday trying to make sure I had all the right documentation to obtain my vehicle, only to be greeted by nobody at the establishment! Even though the individual on the phone was the same individual who ended up meeting me, they failed to mention I needed to make an appointment to meet them, so he forced us to sit there and wait while he was out on a tow. After waiting, and being continuously condescended to by the driver we were given a chicken scratch receipt completely illegibly written and covered in napkin math. This place was another absolute perfect example of why nobody respects tow drivers and tow services!

The guys at plaza did an amazing job on my truck. Runs like new and the whole process with them was simple and easy. Got back to me with the problem just a few hours of dropping it off, was ready the next morning!! Very pleased with my service at plaza!!

Good mechanical work, fair price. Unfortunately this time poor communication. Did a assessment of job and price. Had to stay within a desired budget. Wanted to talk to the mechanic for a reassessment and price. Guy at counter said he could take care of it. We agreed on a price for a good portion of the original job. Keeping it $1000. Or under. Reiterated that several times. Replacing lug nuts were not part of the job discussed. Price quoted was $927.80 for rear brakes and with one caliber replacement and a $59 oil change. That exchanged was made over the phone Aug.7th @ 8:30 a.m. also again shortly after to confirm the price. I didn't know about the upcharge until late afternoon when I called to pick it up to see if it was ready. When I got there I tried to negotiate for desired price or close to it. They wouldn't budge. Felt pressured into signing receipt with upcharges. Daughter upset with price. I told her to let it go and move forward. I did suggest if she wanted to review them she could. I believe they offer that on their web sight. That could have been a mistake, with the response they gave her back I felt it reflected the integrity that I have with my daughter. I would never lie to my daughter. I don't think any decent father would. To conclude, their maybe other factors involved that I may not be aware of or have not been told. Moral of story or experience. Too many hands in the soup. Talk to only one person that is directly involved or just have your daughter take her own car for repairs. That could be a benefit to her. She can learn how to deal with car salesmen. She's in the market for a new car.

Had my back brakes done on my Challenger. They originally quoted me for both my front and back brakes but I opted to only do the back brakes to see if that would fix my issue, and if that didn’t fix it I would install the front brakes myself to save some money. Along with a planned balance and alignment they charged me for new lug nuts with lock nuts without asking if I wanted new ones. Yes, I needed new ones, but had I known, I would have purchased and installed them myself. They charged me $180 for something I could have got for $40. I had my father pick up my vehicle and they made him sign saying he received the vehicle, and when he protested the charge and asked for the lug nuts back, they would not give them back to him or refund the money. They also increased the price from the original quote they had given for just the work I opted into. I felt disrespected and won’t be bringing further work here.

Accidentally filled the car with diesel instead of gas. Even though I drove 100 miles with diesel they were able to wash and repair my car. The team did an awesome job at fair price. Would highly recommend.

My work truck had an issue with the air brake system after a delivery to a nearby account of ours. The account recommended Plaza as they use them for their work. They quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it in a very reasonable time and got me back on the road. This in itself is priceless! Speaking of price, a little steep but worthwhile to me because of what I stated above. Thank you!

Great service and great craftmanship on repairs. Car looks great. A bit high on cost and labor but if u want quality it's worth it. Nick Clark is the guy u want to go to. Does the best he can to explain and show everything and help u fight for max insurance payout. A bit of a sale pitch at first and through out but that's normal with any customer based biss that figjts stay in biss. All in all amazing work and customer service ?

This company towed me after an accident I was involved in. After I was released from the hosp the next day I wanted to see how bad the car was and retrieve some Of my belongings. Car seat, paper work, and other misc. The car was Obviously totaled. I was told by the owner that I was not allowed until He was paid in full by the insurance company. I offered to pay for the tow cost but still refused to let me. Accident was not my fault and the other driver and I both fully insured. Just wanna say thank you for your compassion.

Had a great experience after my first accident with Plaza. When I called for a tow, they came quickly and had my car off the side of the highway within a few minutes of arrival. Nick did a great job explaining the process to a car illiterate person (ME). They took apart my car and had the initial estimate ready for the insurance person when they came to get an estimate. My repairs did end up taking a lot longer than expected, but that was due to issues with the factory (and supply chain issues) not on Plaza. With that, Nick and the Plaza team took good care of my car and gave it a nice cleaning and had everything wrapped up on their end as soon as my parts came in. I will return to them with any future car issues.

If one can be positive after being towed off I-91, then I am. Was towed to Plaza after idiot light said, “Low oil pressure. Shut off engine now.” Did so. Got towed. Anticipated a bill in the $thousands$. $135 and only 2 hours later I was back on the road. Courteous, professional, and honest. My son lives near there and is changing garages to them.

I just brought my SUV in for repairs. These guys were fast, and fairly priced. They even discouraged extra work I thought I needed- pretty honest and great customer service! I will continue to bring our vehicles here. Highly recommend them!

Plaza Service Center is the best place to go, hands down. I try to do my own work when I can, but sometimes it's not possible or life gets too busy. They came highly recommended by a few coworkers, and now I see why. The people at plaza are honest and do great work. My car required body work after an accident and they went above and beyond to fix my car and turn my negative experience into a positive one. It's tough to find honest mechanics, but the team at Plaza can absolutely be trusted. If there's work I can't do (or am too lazy to), this is the only place I will bring my vehicles. I highly recommend plaza service center for any of your mechanic needs!

The disappointment I have for this service center is unreal. I feel as though they are robbers for your money. Long story kinda short, My sister called this place to get a tow because her car would not start, and since she had something important to do in the next hour, she decided to tow her car to their shop. Part of the agreement is if your car is towed to their shop you are obligated to pay over 100 dollars for a diagnosis, plus the tow. To me, this seems absolutely ridiculous. On top of that, they did diagnose the car, and explained it was the starter that went. So since this was an issue that has already occurred the starter was under warranty at another shop. So it was towed to the other shop. Come to find out it was not the starter at all. On top of their ridiculous policy, they will not refund for misdiagnosing the car. I would never trust this shop with my vehicle, and ever pay them a dollar for their services.

An employee at Plaza Service Center was trusted with road testing a Porsche for a customer, this employee crashed into me down the street from the garage (totaling my new vehicle.) Maybe Plaza Service is good at what they do mechanically but I will never bring my service there as they do not seem responsible or trustworthy at all The kid (I say kid because he was about 18-20 years old) who totaled a customers vehicle as well as my own was not reprimanded in any way, and is still trusted to road test cars . Plaza Service Center offered nothing to the person they crashed into and harmed- not even an apology- despite the fact that witnesses saw this employee speeding while driving a customers car. I'm sorry to have to say this but I would not trust this garage with my vehicle in any way.

Broke down a long ways from home, and Plaza Service was there in record fast time. Our driver was a man named Jason, who should have his pay increased ten-fold. Not only was he polite, helpful, courteous, pleasant, nice, and all those things, but he was also great company for the long ride back. My sister and I had a very entertaining time with him, even though we made his night a bit longer than he had anticipated. We felt bad for taking him so far out of his way, but he was totally okay with it and we were laughing for about the whole ride back. An excellent towing experience, and if I ever brake down again, I hope its in Wallingford! Shout out to Jason, you're the best!

My experience with Plaza has been, for the most part, very good. Their drivers are excellent and quite friendly. Their tow trucks are on the newer side and of high quality. (I was never worried about my car being damaged). Everyone in the office, especially Chris the service manager, has been easy to work and seem to actually care. My only gripe would be in their communication. This can be subjective as some people are more/less patient than others though. In the end, they stand behind the work they do and are a shop I definitely can recommend.

I give PLAZA 1 out of 5 stars. They are local, and seem to offer comprehensive repair services. So I gave them a try.... ....In late October I went to PLAZA for the 1st time, to do repairs on my car, to solve a problem. They did repairs, we paid, and about 7-8 days later the problem returned. When I brought the car back to discuss, and fix, I was made to feel completely unwelcome by the owner. At the time, I was ready to spend more money. I did not show up with a bad attitude. I did not make any demands. I did ask politely for a price to re-inspect the car and try to diagnose the issue. The facts are these: 0. The car seemed to work OK when we left after the 1st repair. Then the same exact problem reasserted about 7-8 days later. 1. I brought the car back. When discussing the situation with the owner, he would not define a price to examine the car again, such that I could make an informed decision to stay...or go. He left it completely open-ended, meaning if we left the car, we might have to pay whatever he said! Quite one-sided! He encouraged me to trust him. However.... 2. When I met the owner, I greeted him, and introduced myself by name. He did not introduce himself. He did not offer his name. Silent treatment. I asked him if he was the owner and he said "yes." 3. At introduction-time, I moved to shake his hand, expecting one. There was also no handshake offered. Silent treatment. In light of the foregoing, I decided to cut my losses at PLAZA and take the car elsewhere. I have no plans to return to PLAZA for car repairs. NOTE: We took the car elsewhere. This new mechanic .... 1. Correctly diagnosed the problem, 2. Stated a price of $250 to fix, and 3. Fixed it to our total satisfaction. I hoped for this outcome at PLAZA and it did not work out. 1 out of 5 stars. I will not go back. End of story.

I have been a customer of Plaza Services for close to twenty years. Plaza is always my go to shop for towing and repairs. I have several old MGs and an old Lincoln as well as newer vehicles. Plaza has serviced each of them well beyond expectations. Their road service is speedy and courteous: the shop service professional and fair in cost. I do appreciate the honesty when informing me when things like brakes are good for more miles rather than doing unnecessary work. Plaza has earned and deserves its high AAA rating.

I have been bringing my car to Plaza for years and it is the only place I trust with my car. There prices are on par with other repair shops, sometimes a bit more expensive but the work is always at a higher standard and parts are better quality than other shops I have gone to. The mechanics are always friendly and helpful, their tow drivers are quick and professional. If they find additional work needs to be done on my car when I bring it in, they give me an itemized list, explain why the work needs to be done, and never proceed with any work before getting my approval, so I don't face a charge I wasn't expecting. I highly recommend this shop.
