Dave diagnosed the issue right away and made repairs to my car and kept me informed every step of the way, he did exactly what I asked and also advised me on other changes I can make to improve the performance. I had a problem with my car and the gentleman working there stopped what he was doing to help me, even though I stopped there without an appointment. He diagnosed the problem that another mechanic I'd visited could not, sourced the needed part, had it delivered quickly, and repaired it on the spot. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and has earned my future business.

I can confidently say I’ve had great experiences with country club garage. I had issues with my tires a few weeks ago and I trusted their opinion with no doubt. My family and I have gone here whenever there’s been an issue for several years, and we will continue to do so down the line. We completely trust their honest opinion of repairs that need to be done, unlike other car repair shops. They go above and beyond and we have the utmost confidence in their service. I would highly recommend country club garage!
I Was Run Off The Highway By A Jerk Driving Too Fast In The Rain. Although I Didn’t Hit Anything, It Sounded Horrible. I Thought My Car Was Ruined. I Was Upset.
Dave From Country Club Garage Was Dispatched To Tow Me. He Was Very Nice And Kind Enough To Give Me A Ride. He Reassured Me That Everything Was Going To Be OK.
The Next Day, He Called Me And Told Me I Would Only Need Two Rims And Two Tires. Now, My Car Runs Better Than Ever.

What a horrible place to ever have your car towed. The man there was very rude! He belittled me and made me feel less than. If anyone know who I can speak to above him, please let me know.
I never broke any laws. I had a tire blow out on the highway and feared for my life. I called my AAA service and because it happened on the highway (which my car was off the road in a grassy area) the state trooper called this horrible company to do a quicker service. I’ll just reach out to the better bureau business to report this company.
Now that your political signs tell me exactly who you are (thank you!) I was happy to drive 15 minutes out of my way to get my oil changed at Valvoline instead.
I paid over $700 for 2 days of storage and towing. Refused to give me my vehicle then lied and said I never called AAA to come. Ultimately refused to release my vehicle after I paid for it. Neighbor next door says the exact same about him. He was throwing junk into their property. Terrible person, terrible at business which explains why his lot is empty. Beware as the man who works there does not seem well.
Don’t do it , the guy is so rude and disrespectful. End up fixing things he’s not suppose to and end up charging you when you never asked for the extra . VERY NASTY ATTITUDE…… oh I didn’t see your response . I’m here 4 years later still scarred and still irritated from your horrible decision. If the piece was $70 why did you charge me $800!?! I was only 19 and you took advantage!!! WHAT WAS $800 then if the piece was only $70? You’re telling me $700+ for you to fix it ? Yes my Acura was a 2007 and you charged me $800! I’ll never forget you.
Dave responded quickly and was a life safer with reasonable prices when our car broke down nearby. We were unfamiliar with the area and needed to figure out how to continue on our trip. He went the extra mile by quickly sorting out our tow and making sure that we could get a rental car before the store closed.
Dave is extremely racist and unprofessional he comes up with his own illegal charges against your car charging over a thousand dollars to get your car out. He’s a very miserable man who is extremely disrespectful. I would avoid your car ever coming in contact with this place. You will face numerous challenges and discrimination by Dave himself. The actual worst place of business I have ever come into contact with. He should not be a business owner
Wish I could give zero stars! This man needs to be put out of business, never have I encountered such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from someone. He will illegally do things to your car and give you an attitude about it
Dave was great. Period. When I initially called about needing a tow, he asked me if I could hang on for 40 mins before he was able to get to me. Not 20 mins later he was calling back and headed my way. Took good care of my baby and got us all home safely. Definitely recommend Dave & County Club Tow/Garage
I went to go to work and my car wouldn’t start. I called the neighborhood garage and they showed up immediately gave me a jump start and off to the garage. I got a new battery and was not late for work I can’t that the garage service man enough. I would highly recommend then.
BEWARE if your car gets towed here. After getting into a really bad accident, this towing yard has been nothing but trouble. Guy who owns this business immdeiately tried to scam me by saying bring $1000 and the title because my insurance wouldn't cover my car and that we could meet this evening. I call my insurance and sure enough they said they would. I went over there to retrieve my belongings (tools, car key, house key) and the door to the front desk was locked. My father and I saw that the gate was open and tried to see if we could find him. As we were his trailer pulled up and he started screaming and cussing at us as we were apologizing and trying to give him our info and the insurance claim #. This man who owns this business is extremely rude and disrespectful and I would highly suggest never doing business here, RUN AWAY.
Dave is a first class auto repairer with a vast knowledge of what he does. My 1955 t-bird had many issues and Dave found a way to work through them. It was like an early Christmas for me and my wife. In two months we will be celebrating 50 years of marriage. What a great ride we will have in our baby bird that day. Oh yes and when Dave hands you the bill there is no Sticker Shock. The other day on our way to Gaylord in Wallingford from Guilford, the car message board indicated that we had low tire pressure.
Noticing Country Club Garage we stopped in for air in the tire. A very pleasant mechanic not only put air in the tire but also took the time to locate the source of the problem. There was a tiny hole in the tire which he then plugged.
Now we don't have to worry about the constant loss of air. Country Club Garage resolved our problem and made us feel safe in our car.
Great service! Had a tire pressure problem and Dave worked me right in and fixed a sensor issue. He also flagged my front tires which had almost no tread. Highly recommend and will use again!
If I could rate this no stars I would the man running country club garage is unbelievably rude. I was in an accident and on two occasions I tried to get my belongings from my car and one day he closed early. The next time it wasn't even open an hour after expected business hours. When I finally did end up getting my belongings he was so disrespectful. The worst customer service I have ever witnessed.
In returning to Wallingford to visit family on Easter Sunday, my car would not start. I called Country Club Garage, Dave arrived a half hour later to tow me to his facility. Once at the shop he immediately diagnosed the problem to be my battery. He installed a new hi quality Interstate battery immediately so I was able to spend Easter Sunday with my family. I would personally recommend Dave to anyone with any problem. He went out of his way on a holiday to put my needs first. That service is one you can always count on!
Had a flat on a Sunday. Came and put air in tire and then plugged my tire back at the garage. Oil changes and tire repair done quickly. Dave always has time for my family!
I have been coming here for years! Great service! They are always open and honest about my car needs. The prices are always within my budget. When they tell me I need something for my car, I really do need it. The owner was very nice to me. I would recommend this garage to family and friends.
