Mike and Chris are absolutely amazing, works with me on every piece of work I have done, always super nice and gives me all information up front. Lou is also really nice when he answers the phone, knows me by name and voice. Such a family friendly place and highly recommend them.
Firestone in Branford continues to exceed my expectations. I came in for an oil change and mentioned a humming grinding noise on my Chevy Equinox. They quickly inspected it and confirmed the wheel bearings were worn, explaining everything clearly and professionally. I’ve been coming here for over two years and have never been disappointed. Excellent customer service, reliable, and they always get me in right away. Highly recommend.

As a single older woman I went to have my car checked out to see what was going on. I hate going to places because I always feel like I get taken advantage of, because I have been. Well, after telling them my worries they inspected my car. Over an hour and an half after they took it in they came to tell me results. I expected of course the worse! I was told my worries were understood but there was no immediate work to be done. They went over everything they checked and stated what should eventually be done, giving me the quote on pricing. The original inspection fee over the phone was brought down 90%. I walked out of there spending a few bucks, feeling that I was treated with the utmost respect and knowing what needs to be done and the price so that I can manage my financial worries!!! This was literally the best experience ever!! What friendly, honest, respectful people!!
I have had Firestone, first in Southington CT and now in Branford CT, caring for my car for about 4 years now. I get trustworthy car care at prices comparable to other places. I trust their mechanics and the guys at the desk are great, helpful in explaining why I need repairs suggested - even showing me worn parts - and most importantly telling me when I do NOT need something. I asked them to check my battery because it is almost 5 years old, and they could have easily sold me a new one, but they told me mine is still good. That is why I trust them. Just got new shocks and struts with an alignment and tire rotation on 2/4/2026 and my 12 year old car rides like brand new. I will never go anywhere else for services.
Had a blower for heat/AC replaced and they had to remove the gas pedal to replace the blower. The next day I saw the check engine light was on so I took the car back. They charged me $120 to check the car and the fix was due to gas pedal throttle delay. Out of $120 dollars because of something they caused and they refused to acknowledge and gave some kind of bs about unrelated. Any normal person would know it's related. I'll only come here for my lifetime alignment but even then I'm hesitant to even do this as I do not trust them anymore
Everytime I come to this specific location, Everett always does such a great job with customer service . Any advice I need , Everett makes it a priority to make sure I get the right answer.. I know my car is actually being worked on because my car is always running smoothly when I come to this location. I wish I came here sooner !!

Best experience getting new tires. Especially compared to the other big place around here. Made an appointment my car was brought in the garage and work began within 5 minutes of my arrival everyone was friendly, courteous and professional and the work was impeccable.

By far the best customer service at any Firestone in the state of Connecticut. The manager was so professional gave me the best deal on tires you could possibly get. Great deal on brakes. They even figured out a noise that was on the vehicle for over two years and nobody else could figure out within a matter of minutes. Highly recommend them if you want. Great mechanics and a great price!
I called and made an appointment at this location. When I showed up for my appointment, the guy at the counter made a face and said they wouldn’t be able to “fit me in.” I rescheduled. I came back for that appointment. I wanted to use my fiancè’s Firestone credit card since he has one and he was with me. The guy at the counter (different guy) told me I couldn’t use the credit card because the service wasn’t for his car. He couldn’t offer any explanation besides that. It really seemed like he was just trying to get ME to open up a credit card, which I will never do after this experience.

Once I get inside, one of them greeted me and helped me with what I need. once they found my record and account they took my car right away and within 20 minutes its all done. fast and easy! i love their service
Had my turbo replaced
Last week I had to go back to the shop 3 times as it failed.. Reduced engine power warning while driving..again which is what originally happened when it failed i was told that the rod had come loose .They put it back on
A day goes by, it failed again.I was told the bolt that was used was to long obstructing its ability to open properly.. They changed the bolt a day later, my check engine light comes on i go back to the shop now. I'm told my catalytic converter is failing.Code was reset, car has been running fine this morning, while driving reduced engine power warning again
At this point I feel the turbo needs to be replaced i called the shop today explain to them what is going on i have already lost three days of work due to this issue
I asked them to order the new part.So they can replace it tomorrow i have zero confidence in the person that I spoke to is actually going to do this unfortunately, I will have to drop my car off tonight when the shop closes. I hope they get on this first thing in the morning and get it back to me by the afternoon.. But again zero confidence
I know that Firestone does not have a good reputation and I generally don't go there for anything, but in this case I hadn't much choice.
I was traveling though CT on I95. The low air pressure indicator light illuminated on the dash. I pulled over to check the tires. Sure enough, one was flat. FLAT.
On the side of the highway I was able to change to compact spare.
Not really knowing where I was, Google maps showed I was only a few miles from this Firestone location. So, without delay I made my way to the shop.
The front counter person listened and empathisized with my situation. Fingers crossed.
45 min later the tire was patched and I was back on the road.

I highly recommend Firestone! Our whole family have been going here for many years and getting work done on our cars. We wouldn't go anywhere else!
I came in yesterday feeling like something was off with my car and wanted an oil change. Upon inspection Luis and his team discovered my sway bar was broken off.. Thank God they caught that and replaced them so I would have a safe driving vehicle. Luis showed me before and after pictures was very courteous and professional. The wait was reasonable and my vehicle is safe. I will be coming back for any future work and tires..
Usually don’t have a problem with this location as my mom has been a member for forever and so have I — I came in to get a flat tire fixed and I don’t know much about cars. The man at the front desk was amazing and got me taken care of as did manager and other staff but this one mechanic who was working on my vehicle named Jeremy was so rude demanding and unprofessional I guarantee he will never touch my car again. Sad because this is my home location. But great experience with front desk who made everything right! Props to them and manager. Just some shitty attitudes I guess
That has to be the best visit to a mechanic I have ever had. The moment I walk in get my alignment done. I bought the lifetime a few months ago and it paid off. I really appreciate the people who helped me out. My wife was really tired and she needed some rest and they completed everything less than 40minutes from the time I gave the key till they handed them back to me when completed. Amazing job and service. Awesome thanks ??. I definitely would recommend them to go to for 5 STAR SERVICE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This location is incredibly honest, and the store manager Mike is always so helpful and cares about his customers. My wife needed an oil change on her mother's birthday, and we had a sudden trip the next day. Unfortunately, as he inspected the car, he had found that we needed new brake pads, and one caliper had seized up. Thank God he had discovered this before our trip because we would have had no clue what could have happened. If you ever need a mechanic, you can trust this is the place to go.
