Big y very good store I went to the East Windsor one called my order in when I was at Walmart down the street. I couldn't find what I wanted at Walmart. They told me 15 minutes for Big y and I pretty much left soon as I hung up and 5 minutes later no more than 10 minutes later. My fish and chips was ready when I got there and the service was great I really like their seafood. Although the fish and chips is what I eat the most of, I would definitely suggest trying it

I did not have a good experience here. While this was some time ago, I had quite the negative experience with a cashier. It earnest, I worry she had something against me because of my appearance (she behaved quite nicely with her coworker). In any case, I have not been back since, and I plan to avoid at all cost.

Update: Big Y has become even better. Very professional staff and caring. Patty is a cashier and front end support who is absolutely an amazing person. Very supportive. Thank you Below was from 3 years ago. I ordered like 25 of subs from the food court. Sue who took my order for a corporate party we were having for staff in July, helped me through the whole process. She catered to my needs and answered any questions that I had. She even helped load up the van. Sue deserves big recognition. Thanks Sue for your wonderful service.

I couldn't get someone to make a sandwich because the guy was on break at 630 pm. The pizza guy said he was to busy even tho it's basically the same station

So happy we switched pharmacies. BigY is so much better, friendly staff, no issues with the meds either not in stock or "missing" like Walgreens.

Very clean well lit store. The customer service is very good and the Pharmacy staff is very considerate and helpful. Always a good shopping experience. I love the sales every week.

Big Y grocery awesome your pharmacy is terrible you would think they are selling Hearts it's always a machine when I follow prompts from my specialist to get my prescription here I'm going to change pharmacy as soon as I can but unfortunately my experience has been terrible longer then usual waits for easy scripts second time I call and leave my info this review is strictly for the pharmacy

Asked for a basket to use while shopping and they said "NO MORE BASKETS"... Why?!?! So inconvenient for people shopping for themselves that don't want to roll an entire cart around. Will go back to my other location WITH hand baskets.

Big shout out to Maria working the pizzas today! She makes the best BBQ chicken pizza I've had in a very long time! Ordered a combo pizza as well and they both taste amazing!

Came in to do my weekly shopping and the gentleman at the deli counter turned myself and several other patrons away due to him being the “only one working” and said sandwiches will take over 25 minutes. 11:25 on a Monday!! Ridiculous. Usually love my big y but this was very disappointing

People are so nice in this store. Seafood is great. I've never bought 24 clams and had every single one of them be alive when I got home. Lady in the seafood area is great, thanks!

I’d like to say thank you to Malachi. Sorry if I have the spelling incorrect. He was very kind and helpful at the self checkout making my shopping experience a good one at this Big Y.

Went to grab grinders and Maria helped us. She was so sweet and even told us about options for chicken tender grinders that no one else ever has. She was out of olives and happily went to get more. She was super pleasant and helpful. Just wanted to give her a kudos!

I love shopping at Big Y. They have the best fish and meat, very fresh and delicious. Their donuts are better than Dunkin and less expensive with a special for each month.Try them!

I live in East Hartford but really like this Bigy. I'd rather drive out here to shop. The set up is great. I can find everything I need here. The people are very nice. The area is nice as well. That's just a few things I like about this store.

Our family has been shopping with big Y our whole lives ,went in tonight to purchase a rib roast for our family dinner the butcher would not sell it to me said it was reserved for someone on the phone so I called the Enfield Big y and was told that they cannot reserve any purchases in advance I offered to buy the entire $130 rib roast and the butcher still refused to sell it to me. Since they have no loyalty to me I guess I will have to worry about where I'll be buying my groceries in the future because I know longer have any loyalty to them Merry Christmas everyone.

The best supermarket in the State. Great selections, excellent cooked food. Subs are the best value. Seafood dept is great as well. Nice selection of fruits and vegetables in the produce dept. Checking out is quick. Excellent customer service.

This was a pretty straightforward grocery store experience. They had lots to choose from, but when I tried to get coffee, they were out of a bunch of things at the coffee station. Otherwise the store was clean. The bathrooms were a bit hard to find, though. Overall it was pretty decent! I went to two of them in the area on different days.

What do I like most about My Big Y? When I order a sandwich and the employee practically counts the number of lettuce shreds and actually counts the number of pickles and peppers to put on. That makes me feel valued. The rest of the store is average at best.

I have a handicapped client that needs an electric cart. They always have one for use. Staff go above and beyond in this store. The deli staff greets my elderly client like a long time friend and go out of their way to help him make choices. If they have something new that they think he might enjoy, they'll let him know about it. He loves the rotisserie chicken and homemade pizzas and sandwiches. They have the low salt, organic, and hard to get items that he needs and enjoys. Handicapped parking spot is good. Cashiers and baggers are very kind and accommodating. They'll take the groceries out to your vehicle and see that they're put in for you. It might be a few cents more, but more.than worth it! This is a great store!

We were in the area and needed to stop for some groceries. First time going to one of these stores and we were very impressed. Loved the fresh fruits and veggies, fresh baked goods and low prices. The cleanliness of the store and all the isles fronted so well, it waslike a thing of art. Definitely wish we had these around us. 5*****

Great selection. Many ready to eat, and grab and go items at reasonable prices. I got some antipasto from the deli and a berries bowl from produce for under $5...and they literally had about 3 servings each. Was fresh and yummy.

Great place to stock up for a trucker! Hot food inside for a meal. Plenty of options to stock your truck up. Friendly employees. Pizza is great. Dylan has a great attitude towards customers! Nice guy, and best thing is truck parking!

Now this is a customer friendly establishment!! As soon as you walk in their are pleasant people waiting to greet you. If you cant find something.. turn around and an employee will b there to help. Fresh produce, meat and the floral department is always beautiful. Most of all check out is a brezze.. always plenty of pleasant clerks to make shopping easy😉

I want to start off by thanking you for being a safe haven for trucks! It is so hard for us to find places accessible to get healthy groceries.. on top of it your store truly is WORLD CLASS! Always very clean. The cashiers are always nice and helpful. I knew nothing about flowers when I was trying to find a bouquet and the florist here at Big Y was very helpful

Great prices, clean store, friendly & helpful staff. The produce & deli are the biggest reason to shop here. No tired produce or lunch meat that is just about to turn. At other chain grocery stores, I have gone to use meat or produce just two days after purchase, and had to throw it away because it has gone bad. Big Y pulls stock that is not fresh instead of selling it to unsuspecting consumers. I will always shop here because of the quality of the food.
