I went to Advance looking for a battery. Sierra was off the clock but took the time to help me out with what I was looking for. She brought out several batteries that could work and researched the best alternative. I bought the battery and everything worked out perfectly! Thank you Sierra!!!

Popping codes on my car for O2 sensor. Didn't know it but my car has Cali emissions standards. Billy was inquisitive and helpful in ordering the correct sensor for the car. Great customer service. Recommend.

Update 11/23/25: Horrible experience. The guy closing tonight (heavy set white kid maybe 20s/30s) told me I was ruining his plans for the night because I came in to buy a battery too close to closing. I apologized and explained my battery was so low it took me 45 mins to get jumped. I had already looked up the exact battery I was going to buy. It was almost $300. I wanted to get it and just needed it put in which to me seemed pretty simple. He was extremely upset about this eventually gets the battery but was very angry about it and it began to scare me. He goes outside asks me to open the hood and makes an excuse about the plastic coverings, which I easily removed. Then starts up about how I should have come 15 mins earlier and how well now the store is closed (because at that very moment outside it struck 8pm). And says "Not his problem". So I have no battery. I have no recourse except I know i will not be buying a $300 battery there tomorrow. Another store will get that money instead. Previous review from 1 year ago: The guy with the dark hair tied back was very helpful even though it was just a few minutes before closing. Thank you.

Today I felt completely and utterly over it. I was completely defeated which is not like me at all. The headlight in my truck went out a few days ago and it felt like nothing between today and yesterday was going right. I ordered the headlight online after speaking to a young woman that amazing!!! Customer Service was amazing!!! With my mobility issues she assured me that there would be no issues bringing the bulb out to me. Unfortunately, the wrong bulb was given to me that night when I picked it up that night. I returned to the store and provided the correct product. When returning home, we attempted to the bulb in and I was told that i ordered wrong bulb and they did not know what to tell me. I called the East Windsor store completely drained of my happy, defeated, overwhelmed and more. I spoke to Billy. Billy was AMAZING!!!!!! He informed me that the person removed the incorrect bulb put not only put my high beam back in but installed the correct light for me. BILLY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HITTING THE RESET BUTTON ON MY DAY AND HELPING ME GET BACK MY HAPPY!!!!! I APPRECIATE IT MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!!!

I'm new to town and the two times I have been in here the staff was very helpful and did their best to trouble shoot the issue and recommend product. The store had everything I needed and the clearance section has lots of things further saving me money. They went out of their way to help this customer and I appreciate it: GREAT small town friendliness. I will be happy to return again and again. Prices are less than Amazon and they are conveniently located.

I was the first in line but I was completely ignored by 2 make employees behind the counter as they walked away. The other employee behind the next register also ingnored me as started to help the men in line behind me. After they were done I asked for help. The male employee that (helped) me was very rude and condensending. After barking questions at me, he told me that here is the number for your filter go get it in the wall over there! I walked out! I believe I was mistreated due to the fact I was a woman. As I was leaving I turned back for a second and saw he was treating the next customer in line, another woman, in the same rude manner. I'm will never return to this store ever again!

The KINDEST man tried everything he could to figure out what was wrong with my car, and was extremely gracious about how distressed I was! Even though it isn't his job, he came out into the cold to check on my car. I was very far from home (states away) and alone, and it was a Sunday so every mechanic was closed. Having someone calm and knowledgeable there helped me so much. The people here truly are fantastic!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would . The General manager was no help and very rude . Zero sympathy . I thought the customer is always right , especially when the associate was trying to help me and the manager disregarded both of us. Very disatisfied & never returning to this location again !

Such a huge thank you to Bill!!! Midway through my commute to work this morning my battery indicator turned on. Battery is only 2 years old, wasn't experiencing typical alternator issues. I came to have Advanced Auto check my battery level, it was slightly low. After talking with Bill for a little while, he realized I had 2 belts and one was completely shredded. Not only did he identify it, he also walked me through how to install it with his help (tight squeeze required smaller hands). So, not only did Bill save me what would have cost me an arm leg to go get a diagnostic done at a shop, but he also gave me peace of mind driving to work tomorow. So shoutout to Bill who bent over backward to help a chick in need!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you, you definitely deserve a great Christmas bonus! Thank you again!

Brought my car in to have the battery replaced and they put it in backwards and blew 5 fuses, the manager was incredibly nice and came to my home to see if he could fix it he managed to partially fix it and I had to take it to the garage to have it done the rest of the way if I was rating the manager he would get 5 stars But my overall experience it gets 2 stars

Great service at East Windsor location! Very nice and friendly staff. I needed a new battery and they were able to install one, even though they were busy. Bill was already leaving for the day, but he still did the install. He didn't rush me, and he gave me some pointers on battery maintenance. I am very happy with my experience at this location.

The East Windsor branch gave me excellent service. They diagnosed the electrical problem with the car, gave me the choice of batteries and installed it right there with a smile. I was very impressed with their service and this is one of many good incidents where this facility was not only helpful, but informative as well.

Good customer service when making purchased but less than helpful dealing with a warrantied battery. I purchased a battery January 2020 had a three year warranty. I began having intermittent starting issues August 2020, jump started my car and drove it down to advance auto to test the battery who stated it was reading a consistent 12v and the car is drawing the battery From somewhere which is the real problem. Since the car was already running for some time I offered to tow it in so I can duplicate my battery issue which the attendant responded if I tow it in I’m just going to have to tow it out since the battery isn’t the problem. I trusted him thinking maybe it’s not the battery. Leaving me in the dark I had to purchase a jumper box for about 100 dollars so I can start my car when I have the issue. Seeing how it might not been the battery I was going to schedule an appointment with The dealer to find the problem which would have been an additional cost. Before I went to spend money at the dealer I took it to another Advance auto location to test and replace the battery. It’s been about a month since I replaced the battery at a different location and I have not had a single problem with the car. I bought the battery from advanced because of the warranty and easiness of finding me in the system for these kind of issues. The employee was a know it all, provided no additional options regarding my 7 month old defective battery Causing me to spend additional money and extra wear and tear on my engine continuously having to jump start my car with the jumper box. It’s a frustrating feeling to be treated like I don’t know what I’m talking about, make me spend additional money after spending about or over 200 on a battery and then concluding I was right this whole time: he could have saved me from a headache if he was a little more helpful in options to correct this issue.

I've been coming to this Advanced auto for 9 yrs. Today I rode my Motorcycle there. Looked for gloves, none my size. I go to leave, mount my Motorcycle. 2 mean employees come out. Accused me of stealing. Tried to be tough, but fluff cakes. Just because I'm brown, doesn't mean I steal. Autozone for life now

I was having car trouble today and I was lucky enough to pull off the highway and find Advance Auto Parts in East Windsor. The employees were very kind and very helpful. They helped me find the correct oil for my car and they put it in for me because I did not have a clue how to even do that. They gave me some great advice about what to do and how to manage the issue with my car. It was so nice to find caring people in business today. I cannot tell how much they helped me. Great place!!! .

I went to Advance Auto Parts a few weeks ago to purchase windshield wipers. There were 2 cashiers at the time. I was told I had to wait until the line cleared before my windshield wipers could be installed. I was told this by Austin. I waited 20-30 minutes, the line had cleared and every time 1 person walked in Austin helped that person while I continued waiting, without him even acknowledging me. The other cashier had went outside and started doing a battery installation, again while I was sitting waiting for my windshield wipers to be installed. I went to Austin to find out how does someone get an entire battery installed and they came in after me and I was told to wait until the line cleared up and I had been waiting almost a half an hour. After his shocked face that I had said something he gave me excuses and said the person who was doing the battery installation was a manager and I said well you could have told the manager I was here first and had been waiting for a windshield wiper to be put on, I should be treated as fairly as any other customer. I was going to take my windshield wipers and bring them to my mechanic to install, I saw the manager outside and explained to him the situation he apologized and put my windshield wipers on that took 3 minutes. All of the unnecessary waiting could have been avoided. I felt bypassed and mistreated. If I hadn't spoken up, I probably would have been waiting another 30 minutes. I don't know if it was because I was a female or what the situation was, but because of that I'm not returning. Treat ALL people the SAME!!

Performed a complete battery test for free, very thorough. Found battery and alternator performing to specification; however, also found that there was a parasitic drain of 1 ampere when everything was off. Will save me some $, now I can start looking for the root cause!

The person that helped me was very personable and knowledgeable. He was very eager to help I wish I remembered his name. I know he is from Holyoke MA. The store itself was well organized and clean. The staff seemed to carry themselves in a very professional manner. I also saw one of the staff installing windshield wipers for a customer which was pretty nice.

Waited over 10 minutes they knew I was there. They had some kind of inventory going on regaurdless 5 employees and not one came.Manager finally stopped came over I had to leave. Im sure they had what I needed. Advice to management and employees Stop what your doing take care of your customer. I went somewhefe else spent 500 00 new brakes rotors calipers plugs.
