Heidi was so helpful, kind and understanding. She is very honest, and such a supportive person, she is truly wonderful and I would use this company again, no doubt!

Haidi at East Coast Auto Body was truly wonderful to work with during a very stressful time for us. Our car was declared a total loss, and since this was our first experience ever dealing with something like this, we had no idea what to expect. Haidi took the time to patiently walk us through every step of the process, explaining what we should look out for, what to avoid, and what would happen next. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring — never rushed, and always willing to answer our questions. It made a difficult situation feel manageable, and we felt genuinely cared for rather than just processed through a system. That level of honesty and guidance is rare these days, and it meant a great deal to us. We are very grateful for Haidi’s help and would highly recommend East Coast Auto Body to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and confidence during an otherwise overwhelming situation.

I had called 911 and was in an ambulance when my car was taken so I didn't choose who towed it or really know what was happening at that point. After calling insurance, I went the next day to remove my personal belongings and sign a form to release the car to insurance. My insurance agent told me to take all my belongings and insisted I should remove my license plate. The woman in the lobby told me while pointing to a sign that I could not remove the license plate and that my insurance would mail it back to me. She also would not give me a copy of the form I signed for my records stating it was their internal record. My agent and myself are from Pennsylvania so it's possible that this is Connecticut law and therefore the tow company couldn't give me my plate but all of this makes me a little nervous so I'm glad I had a friend/witness with me. When I did get access to my car, it was sandwiched between other cars and I couldn't even open the trunk (it was front end damage) so while in pain and recovering from an accident I had to maneuver to the back via the seats to get my stuff out. The side doors didn't fully open because of cars next to it on both sides so I really struggled to get everything out. The things I left were not of great value but it still out have been nice to get my snow brush out of the trunk. Not worried about the shopping bags, I have plenty. Still would have been nice to get everything.

Towing companies don’t always have the best reputation but I can confidently say Heidy and the East Coast Towing team went above and beyond to assist me when my car was recently towed. Their willingness to work with me to ensure a convenient solution was attained speaks volumes. Thank you Heidy, your kindness does not go unnoticed! 10/10 I have nothing but great things to say!

Picked up our Rav4 on 8/27. We had a road trip planned for the weekend. Well, not only does it look great but it ran like a charm. We couldn't be happier !!! We have our vehicle back - Thanks !!!

Wanted to thank Oscar for a very professional and efficient job of towing. He allowed us to hitch a ride with him and I was very impressed by his driving - even as he had to take a ‘scenic’ detour due to road closures. Very grateful for his help.

It always sucks being stranded but Joey the tow driver was very handsome and accommodating. He treated me and my car with respect. I love you Joey.

I recently needed a towing service for my vehicle in a challenging location with a low ceiling. The tow tech that arrived was exceptional. He assessed the situation with professionalism and communicated clearly throughout the process. His expertise was evident, despite the tricky conditions, the tech worked efficiently and demonstrated remarkable problem-solving skills, successfully towing my vehicle from a place where 6 other companies canceled the service call because they could not access my vehicle. The East Coast team’s commitment to excellence turned a stressful situation into a smooth operation. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of towing. Thank you for a job well done!

Horrible experience Did not call me when the driver arrived - I had to keep calling. The lady who picks up the phone is extremely unprofessional. When I finally figured driver is downstairs waiting- after multiple calls, he had left. Please do not use this company

We've been using East Coast Towing for over a decade and have always had a pleasant and positive experience with both their office staff and towing staff. I'd recommend them for any towing services large and small.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They don't even deserve a one-star rating. They will over charge you! We had an accident on rt15. The police called this company, and we had no choice but to use them. For a 10-minute tow they charged us $1,000! $600 of it they said was for "labor" and "clean up" when there was nothing to clean up. The receptionist that answers the phone is extremely RUDE! They will take advantage of you. BEWARE!!!!

i would give this place 0 stars if i could. the women at the front desk were incredibly rude for no reason. you would think people would have more empathy after i just had been in a 5 car pile up but they seemed to take pleasure in making my situation harder than it needed to be. shameful.

If I could leave negative stars I would the women that you talk to on the phone are insanely unprofessional and rude. They are crooks and doubled my price in 1 night when I was told a specific price. Will be contacting the better business bureau. Scammers and terrible customer service skills especially dealing with victims of an auto accident.

Terrible experience. Had to pay a $300 bill ($250 + $50 service fee?) to get my car towed to their yard 6 miles from my incident. The lady on the call is extremely rude and top of it all, they only take cash? Sounds like someone isn’t paying taxes. Sketchy and unprofessional.

Avoid East Coast towing at all costs , aside from the rude and unprofessional drivers, they will steal stuff out of your car. My truck was in there a lot overnight after an accident on Friday night that the state police insisted on towing (was drivable), they stole over $600 in cash that was in a locked glove box and about $2500 worth of work tools from the backseat. (State trooper would not allow me to get any belongings out of the truck, including my wallet). when confronted, the owner and one of the drivers tried to lock us in their lot and was starting to getting violent before the Stamford police showed up. The first words out of the owners mouth before he even knew what was going on were “nothing is missing from the vehicle.” Not to mention that the tow bill included storage charges for the weekend when they’re not even open on the weekend to get your vehicle or the fact that the windows were left open Friday night in the pouring rain. When we got to the lot Saturday morning, the truck had been ransacked (locked when I got there) and there was additional damage to the truck, including scratches all the way down the passenger side that were not from the accident and the back bumper tailgate were damaged since they backed it into another vehicle when unloading it. The best part is when they first hooked it up and started to tow it away, The truck was still in park and was being dragged down the on ramp. Edit: they were the only ones with access to it

I make an appointment with these guys for a tow TWO weeks in advance. On the day everything is supposed to happen they say they don’t have anybody for me. They tell me one thing one week, another thing next week. When I made my appointment they told me they can wait for me while the car is being examined at the DMV. Then when that day comes around they tell me they actually won’t wait for me. The worst communication I’ve ever experienced. Zero customer service skills. Stay away if possible.

Hi All, This is my 1st negative review I am writing. Because I believe the attorney general needs to investigate this place. If you have the unfortunate experience of getting into an accident or have a car disabled in there tow district ( The police call this towing company). I got 3 bills to have my car removed 1) $242.27 to tow 10 miles 2) They claimed the tow driver spent hours cleaning up debris charge $425.00. 3) Removal of car from there lot $138.90 ( They would not let my tow driver tow it out of there lot). They only accept cash as a form of payment. This is extortion and highway robbery. They should be reported to every agency that governs towing in Connecticut!!! I live to far away to go after them myself but any government agency that wants copies of my receipts I would be happy to provide.

I had East Coast Towing come out and change my tire last night on my Tesla and I cannot say enough good things about the service. Theo went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Changed the tire to the loaner and even took my original tire to bring to the Tesla Mount Kisco location. I highly recommend them. I even called this morning to speak about the quality of service Theo gave. Thank you East Coast Towing!

100% predatory towing company. Charged almost $500 to get our car back. Pure extortion. I wish the two people we dealt with get the same type of treatment they gave us back 1000 times over. You deserve it. Go anywhere else, these people will bilk you.

They did a beautiful job in repairing my mom's tailgate, and were significantly cheaper than any other estimates. In addition, they did a beautiful cleaning job before returning the car to me! They are not easy to get to (from major construction), but are worth the effort!

Extremely Rude Customer Service. This company Towed my car for not valid Reason, I proof it to them with valid information and copies. They just tell that police department ask for it but do not wanna share the reasons. They forced you to pay ONLY IN CASH. The Manager start to screaming and yelling for No Reason at all. The suggest if I have not money go and ask someone else for money in order they could get the cash. I ask for my new born baby car seat that was in the car and they refuse because the only way to get everything from the car is Paying full, around $500 for 2 days storage and Towed. Very Rude people in this Company. Some officers in The Police Department don't know why they even towed the car.

Thank you so very much Theo - East Coast Towing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very Friendly, caring and helpful. I was stuck in the frigid cold/rain with a flat tire due to a bolt on the road that punctured my tire. East Coast Towing helped me when I needed help the most. Not even Triple AAA and all the other towing companies I called could not help. The reviews here do not reflect the outstanding work East Coast Towing stands for I am forever Grateful and Thankful. Five stars is not enough. East Coast is the Best Top notch service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have used East Coast many times over the years for a variety of services. Always very satisfied with the quality and pricing. Joe and his team have worked wonders with our vehicles at very reasonable rates. Our 2007 Sprinter came back looking like new - incredible!

My car got towed here after a Catalytic Converter theft. I actually thought the service was great. They kept me up to date on the status of my repair and handled my insurance with ease. I will add they were also super friendly. I wanted to leave a great review, however my repair did not last even 2 months. I started getting terrible exhaust noise and I started leaking oil. My car had to go to another shop where the exhaust pipe was welded and my oil pan had to be replaced. I was asked if my car was recently towed (oil pan damage) but I know this was the tow drivers fault, not the garage. However clamping the pipe was totally ineffective in fixing my exhaust. Basically I had to pay to fix my car twice.

When I tell you beyond rude does not explain the experience at this place. Their manager Nicole gave one price over the phone and then upon retrieving my vehicle the price was completely different. Not only was I charged over $700 (a price that was not even written on the original paper), but this man had the audacity to come in my face yelling, saying discriminatory things and saying “how dare I”. But that’s Okay, because I have the higher up to take care of them. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR NO REASON. If your car has to be towed, ASK who it is first and say HELL NO!

1) Person at front desk was extremely unprofessional and not helpful. Kept adding prices that was not foretold to us when paying the bill and only accepted cash which was sketchy. 2) We come from the NJ area, so for the car to be towed there would cost a lot. We left the car with them to take and still paid a hefty amount with minimal to no options left. I recommend not using their services unless you want a difficult time.

1. Car took 1 month to repair, that's fine but with that time I expect everything to be perfect, it is most definitely not. 2. Everything looks good when I pick up the car. One of the replaced headlights is fogged up so he says he will order a replacement and call me when it comes in. 2 weeks later I call asking about it, he says yeah its here come by whenever you want. 3. Car vibrates harshly at idle, especially with A/C running. When I bring it for the headlight replacement I tell him. I also say it seems like a problem with the engine mounts (I have some knowledge of cars). He says he will look at it. I come back to pick up the car with new headlight and he says they can't find a problem. Guy says maybe the idle RPM is too low (if you know anything about cars, you understand how absurd this statement is). 4. OK, they are clearly incompetent and I take the car to a shop local to me. They inspect and tell me the engine mounts they replaced they used after market brand. The part they installed was a solid piece of rubber and the OEM engine mounts are filled with oil (to absorb the vibrations). So I get my insurance to pay this new shop to replace them for me. 5. It is now 1 year later. They did a terrible job with the paint. I have driven about 10,000 miles in this years time and there are more chips in the hood and bumper then my car did when they repaired it with 65,000 miles on it. 6. Also, the A/C no longer works in my car. Upon inspection I see the A/C line (high side) they replaced was installed too close to the radiator. After a year of driving it rubbed on the radiator and put a hole in the line. Now I have to replace the line and evacuate and recharge the system. 7. They broke my car key. I just found out when I went to change the battery they put it back together with crazy glue. OVERALL: Don't go here. I only went because I am from NY and I was hit by a drunk driver in CT. My insurance refused to recommend me a shop since apparently they are not legally allowed to recommend. So I left it with the shop that towed me from the accident. Big mistake... Live and learn, hopefully I can save you some headache with this review.
