I initially chose this shop because their pricing was fair and I’d heard good things about their work. Before service, I explained that I’d be taking this car on a long road trip soon after and needed the issue fully resolved. I brought my Audi A6 in for a PCV-related code and the shop replaced the PCV valve but did not replace the breather hose.
After getting the car back, I was told it had been “tested,” so I assumed the issue was fixed. Unfortunately, once I got to Florida, the same exact problem reappeared — same code, same symptoms. I’m now out nearly $4,000 and still facing the same issue I originally brought the car in for.
A quick search shows that it’s standard practice to replace the breather and related hoses when servicing the PCV system on these engines. I specifically mentioned I wanted to bring my own full FCP Euro kit, which includes all necessary components, but the shop declined and insisted on sourcing parts themselves, and after checking part numbers on the receipt, these turned out to be incomplete for this repair.
I’m genuinely disappointed because I trusted this shop to handle the repair thoroughly, especially given that I was upfront about my travel plans and willingness to pay for preventive parts. I still hope they’ll review this situation and make it right, because I wanted to be a long-term customer here.
I had a problem with lean engine, banks 1+2, and I was so worried because I had to drive from CT to TX - they took my car right away and diagnosed it that day - fixed it all at a comfortable price —and they were extremely professional —thanks so much Joe and Lee - you’re the best!! I’ll be coming back for sure!!

Wow, Euro Automotive can be considered Saab specialists in Fairfield county! My Saab 9-3 Aero has been shuffled around to many different auto mechanics of which all unable to correctly diagnose the issues. Now, my baby electric blue Saab finally has a technician home. Head mechanic, Joseph F. has proven to be an expert. Moreover, the entire staff and technicians are superb. The time Joseph has dedicated to fixing the issues with my Saab is unfathomable. I am grateful and thankful. Although, I was only able to to provide 5 star review on Google, if I could, I would have given them 7 stars!

I’ve been a client for 22 years. Once you bring your car to Euro Auto you will be a customer for life. I bring both of my cars to Euro Auto. One car is a Volvo, the other is a Nissan. I would not even consider bringing my car anywhere else. Joe is a master mechanic and checks everything his well trained workers do.
I trust them with my Volvo so much that if Joe R. and Joe P. Ever decided to retire, I think I will sell my Volvo cause there is no other repair shop I trust enough to bring my car there.
Euro Automotive does excellent work with reasonable prices. Joe and Joe and all who work with them are knowledgeable and experienced. They have been taking care of my daughter's and my cars for years. They are honest, reliable and always have the car ready at the time they promised. They are also kind.. I had a family emergency last week and they took my car the same day to replace my brakes. I highly recommend them and would never think of going anywhere else for repairs or service.

Joe Palmer is the most complete, fair, honest, accommodating mechanic I’ve ever met. He fixed the cam on my 1986 SL, my wife’s E350 wagon , my son’s Volvo and my Pickup! Once in the past decade; I needed help at a dealer for a repair he couldn’t achieve! The Best!

They are seasoned pros specializing in Volvos since they left their jobs at a Volvo dealership. For me, they even diagnosed and repaired a situation that the experts at the dealership could not after several tries. I strongly recommend this business.
