I recently had my car serviced and I was really impressed! The service was top-notch, and the pricing was very reasonable, especially when compared to the dealership. I expected the usual high prices and long wait times, but this shop delivered a much quicker turnaround without sacrificing quality. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and they took the time to explain everything that was done. I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance – highly recommend this place!

A loose battery connection resulted I +$400 repair. Did not get a call about if I wanted to purchase a ridiculously marked up battery. And; the battery they replaced was still under warranty! Terrible communication , not friendly . Be careful if you go to this place.
I have been a customer here for a couple years and have had good service. But I brought my truck in last week for brakes, rotors, and tires. After picking up the truck I noticed that two of the wheels were damaged. I was disappointed they didn't notify me of this when I picked up the truck but oh well. Brought it back the next day and after the guy at the counter and the mechanic that installed the tires denied responsibility, the owner came out and agreed to refinish both wheels. I picked it up today and the finish on the repaired wheels clearly does not match the other two. The owner again came out with me, looked at the tires, and agreed that they do not match, but was unwilling to spend more of his money to make it right. So after spending $2400 I am left with a truck that has mismatched wheels. I am disappointed and will not be back.
Went to get my rear wheel bearings checked and said I would be out front and the guy said "oh I didn't have you as a waiter". I thought he was joking but he didn't laugh, he just berated me for not being there earlier. (Trying to get a 4 year old out the door and then I hit traffic through Bridgeport, sorry I did the best I could). He seemed so annoyed that I would sit on their bench out front that I ate my sandwich quick and walked around the block. Got halfway around the block and looked across the field my car hadn't moved, no big deal. So I walk around another building and they're already calling me saying I need new bearings. Did I just get charged $80 for less than 15 minutes of looking at the car? Did they even look at it? Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe I am supposed to let them know I'm going to wait (never heard that before but fine) and that they probably did look at my car.... but you still just berated me for being a "waiter" and not being there earlier, meanwhile I couldn't even walk around 2 blocks and it was already done. I don't like being spoken to like that and I certainly won't ever trust them.
EDITED: now the owner decides to BLOW UP my phone calling me nonstop just so that he can scream at me and call me privileged?? I have never received worse customer service in my life. You didn't have to put me ahead of anyone, I was prepared to wait for however long it took, and you made me feel so bad about waiting that I took a walk around the block. You basically just stole $80 from me, insulted me, and then had the nerve to call me on my cell phone and scream at me. I wish I could give you a negative review, I should report you to the BBB for improper business practices. All you had to do was be decent to me and I would've paid $900, but instead you talk down to me and get a bad review, get over it, 1 bad review isn't going to ruin your business, but I felt I had to share my terrible experience, that's what these reviews are for. Maybe someday you'll learn how to speak to customers and you won't get any more.

Fairfield Auto-Truck Care is a Top notch shop. Very knowledgeable, honest, and capable. I will 100% be using them again and will definitely recommend to all my friends and colleagues. They did an amazing job on my truck with work that was non-standard, required thoughtful problem solving.
They do good work, are fair and explain everything well. If something is not worth fixing they'll tell you. They don't try to take advantage and upsell to you.
Great experiences with these guys! I've had them do tires, some suspension work, and multiple oil changes. On multiple occasions they've let me know that no work was required rather than arbitrarily doing stuff, recommended patching a tire rather than replacing it unnecessarily, and the one time I had an issue with a part that was installed they took it back and redid the work at no additional charge (same day). Highly recommended and I'll continue to use them!
This is by far one of the BEST auto shops I have ever been to for repairing my vehicle. Bob and Bill are extremely helpful, accommodating to busy schedules, and feel like friends. They truly care about their customers and get everything done in a timely fashion. I cannot say enough good things about this place -- the friendly service and fair prices mean a lot to me. You won't regret going here!
We've been using these guys for many years now & while they're not the cheapest, they're also not the most expensive. And I think that's kinda what you want to look for. Quality service at a reasonable price. Speaking of service, they're friendly, actually call you when they say they will & always manage to fix what needs fixing with a minimum of fuss.
Very friendly and knowledgable staff. I'm always able to get my jeep looked at quickly. And most importantly, they're honest and transparent about the process. You're always informed. I certainly recommend them.
I have known the FATS team for about 3 years and they have never let me down. Not once! So appreciative of the hard work and dedication to changing the industry!
I went to Fairfield Auto Truck care five years ago after an accident for which body works was done by Trainer Autobosy shop. Now, this is the only place I go to for everything including oil change. They always let me know what's coming up and how long can I drive before I really have to do it. Very good service and even once fixed my hanging mirror by gluing it together saving me huderands of dollars. They are honest and sincere with their work.
HONEST! I got introduced to these folks via TireRack -- they are their certified installers. Since that time about 7 years ago this is the only shop I now go to. Always thoughtful and present you with options, there are never any "gotcha's" with this shop. The owner and the staff are very transparent in what is to be done, and why, and will get my approval before doing any work. They will not rack up work and charges where it is not necessary. They will give you timely warnings if some repairs will be coming up in the future. Always thorough, reliable, knowledgeable, friendly, and never once I had to come back because something was unfinished or done wrong. True professionals and pleasure to deal with.
FINALLY found an honest auto mechanic!!! I went to Firestone because my a/c was only working intermittently. They told me I needed a new condenser and compressor for $1,500. Took it in to Fairfield Auto-Truck Care on the advice of a friend and they said it simply needed a new relay switch!!!! Very highly recommend!!!!
