I this place was great. They responded to the scene of the accidents within 15 minutes. I would say another 15 minutes to get the car out of the woods.
Dave is the owner and Bob is the gentleman that is there during the day. They’re both nice guys and helpful when you need to get back to your vehicle and remove your personal items before the wrecker comes from the insurance company.
They also sell gasoline here at a reasonable price right off of the Merit Parkway and they have a service garage if you need mechanical work done also, you could consider coming here. They have a two bay garage for mechanical work as I mentioned.
Nice professional people when you need them for an emergency they’re open 24/7 in FFLD county
As far as the hours of the gas station operation, I believe they have limited hours for that. They’re not open 24 hours for gasoline. They are only open 24/7 for emergency towing.
The honesty is nice to see. These gentlemen only fix what’s needed and never overcharge! If you want reliable and quick service this is the place for you!!!
I can’t tell you how happy i am with Sport Hill; my daughter goes to SHU and we are out of state her car needed breakers desperately. I called sport hill and they got us in right away. They were absolutely a pleasure to deal with and her car was fixed very quickly and rides like a brand new car. Not to mention how reasonably priced her brakes and rotors were. I have to say i might drive from Jersey to Sport Hill for my repairs. Thank you Bob and Dave! I will definitely recommend you guys on the SHU parent portal which is where i found you..
Bob is excellent. Good honest guy. I am so grateful for the work he did for me. Not only did he fix everything well, (brakepads, new tires, new shocks, turn signal lights, rear lift gate hydrolics, front hood hydrolics, calipers) but he spent the time to search and find me the parts for the best price and passed the savings on to me. I am so happy to have found Sport Hill Service Station!
I have a Honda Accord 2004 hooptie and it needed new tires and a new rim. It also needed a valve for the power steering, and an oil change. I viewed Sports Hill Service Station here on Google reviews and because of previous customers reviews, I chose to bring my hooptie to Bob and Dave of Sports Hill with no regrets. The price was way under my expectations. Dave and Bob were thorough, honest, and dependable when I called to see how the progress was going.
More importantly they were grateful that I chose to bring Grace Hooptie to their service station. Definitely will bring my car to them in the future.
Phenomenal service, and incredibly kind men working at this spot. The prices were beyond reasonable and these dudes deserve all the business in the world. I will only be going back to this place for all of my mechanical needs.
We have used Sport Hill Service for nearly 30 years. Dave and Bob are very professional and honest. They only perform service that is needed for our vehicles. We are moving to NC but our son who lives in Norwalk will continue to bring his car to Sport Hill. We hope we can find a mechanic in NC that has been as good as Dave and Bob.
As always service was above and beyond. Car was ready exactly at the time I asked. I will miss everybody as Sport Hill as we have recently moved out of state. I recommend them highly to everone.

Was in Fairfield from out of town when experienced car issues. Went in with no appointment and Dave got the work done quickly and at reasonable cost. Great customer service
I happened to be working across the street and they took a look at my car, which had a check engine light on. Seemed like probably just the gas cap so they cleared it with no charge. Much appreciated! I don’t live near here but if I did I’d come back for sure!
I've been here for emissions testing and the staff was very helpful. I've also called with questions about an emissions test problem and the person that answered was helpful.
This is an honest shop with friendly staff and reasonable prices. There have been a few times that they were unable to find a problem with my car, and instead of just fixing something random, they did not charge a diagnostic fee and told me to come back when the problem was more evident.
I got my oil changed this morning. I have some damage on the front end of my car and so it was starting to drag on the road a tiny bit, nothing major. I was thinking I needed to do something, but this morning without even being asked or anything they zip tied it all up and made it look way better so it doesn’t drag anymore. It’s little things like that that businesses don’t do anymore. Little things go a long way and I appreciated it! VERY happy with how it went and would recommend to anyone.
